With degrees, (graduate
and undergraduate) in counseling and biology, Nancy
Livingstone has managed a group of physician’s
offices and worked as a management trainer at Hermann
Hospital (site of the ABC show, “Houston Medical”).
Combined with a passion for movies, she combined her
experience and her hobby to concoct the characters and
story for Against Their Will.
Ms. Livingstone was a winner
in the Writer’s Digest 2001 Writing Competition
and has completed another novel, Emerald Beach. Currently
she is working on four others, one of which is a sequel
to Against Their Will. She has been writing for nearly
fifteen years, both fiction and non-fiction. All of
her novels cater to a broad audience and seek to entertain
readers of all ages.
Nancy, a native of North Carolina,
has lived all across the United States, from Houston,
Los Angeles, and Kansas City, to various cities in North
Carolina. Currently, she resides near Raleigh, North
Carolina. If she is not inside writing or out in the
yard gardening, then you’ll probably find her
strolling on one of North Carolina's magnificent beaches.
