While the Autobots were busy with their jobs and missions, Optimus was investigating about Megatron's disappearance as his optics scanned over the report on which his Autobots has given him. Optimus grabbed the other file nearby him and looked at the contents inside of the file. The file had several documents inside that was clipped to each other giving recent information about the Decepitcons and the activity the day before Megatron disappeared. There was some post-it notes attached to the main documents which said "Do not access, cssified information." Which were only allowed to be looked at by the main commanders.
Optimus eyes nded on a specific document as he took it from the rest of the pile. It was slightly crumpled and looked to be a rather new document made recently. It was showing a picture of a dark bck shadow around the midnd area in the background, the picture was with a grainy texture and looked to be pictured with an potato camera. Optimus looked curiously wondering which of his Autobots took this specific picture. Optimus soon put the picture down as he got up and went to go get an energon cube because he needed to refuel again.
Soon Optimus arrived at the main area as he saw that a lot of the Autobots actually came back from a long day of orders. Currently they were having fun as they drank energon and enjoyed the music that Bster and Jazz was pying so far. The humans were there as well, handing out their own cultural foods and drinks to their friends and family as they joked with each other and chatted about news that has happened recently around. Optimus looked as it was lively as the sound of soft saxophone came from the intercoms.
There was a bunch of foods on a far table with thick cuts of pork, creamy tomato soups, spiced slices of chicken, smokey homemade beef, roasted nuts and a couple of sweet fruit skewers that was for dessert. There was also a couple of other cultural foods such as korean eomuk dipped in warm broth and was in a cup, some fresh Japanese Gyoza dumplings that had a few drops of soya sauce on them and some spicy Jamaican Ackee and Saltfish were on all different types of ptes. The Autobots came and admired the types of foods that their human allies have as the Ambrosial smell could be felt throughout the air and their sensors.
Optimus sighed wishing that he could join the Autobots wi.th their activities but he was so occupied with his tasks that he couldn't have any time to hang out with his team. Optimus got an energon cube and quickly left the area as he was going back to his office. Optimus however heard some heavy footsteps nearby as it passed by the corner as Optimus checked to see if anything mysterious was there. There was no-one nearby as Optimus thought it would simply be Ultra Magnus since his footsteps usually made a lot of noise.
Until Optimus heard a loud bang! Which echoed from a far distance. Optimus quickly ran over to see if someone was hurt or if any intruders were inside of the Ark as he soon ran across the corridor and saw that bst burns on the floor. He cautiously went through the broken doorway that had paint chipping off it as he saw ssh marks on some of the lightbulbs and small drops of energon on the floor. Optimus immediately felt his heart dropping as he could guess what happened around here.
Optimus usually was very serious and wasn't one to show much emotion but this time, he could sense the dread around his spark as he went into another hallway hearing the sound of dripping as he couldn't tell where it came from. He soon saw that one of the windows had been broken with the gss violently bashed against the wall with small shards looking like tiny pieces of crystals. Someone clearly tried to escape and Optimus wondered how and why this happened. Optimus picked up the metallic dark grey handle as he saw all the mechanisms had been pulled apart and it looked to be forcefully removed from the window. Optimus could only guess that someone managed to escape.
Then Optimus saw something very unexpected down there as he looked down seeing an odd brown thick furred cloth stuck to the railing of the entrance area of the Ark. Optimus was a bit confused on why that was there, so he went down from the window and he made sure he didn't slide quickly on the ceiling as he nded on the ground. He soon grabbed the furred cloth from there and scanned it.
The fur cloth looked to be made fairly made recently and it looked to be made out of a mix of soft fox fur and wolf fur. The colour was dyed but it was impossible to tell if it was dyed because of the colour looking simir to many animal furs. The fur also had this weird wet smoothness to it as Optimus noticed that it had some dew on it and looked to be slightly dry, Optimus guessed that it must have been there st night since it rained. Optimus soon decided to go inside as the weather was starting to act up again outside and decided that he should investigate the cloth ter on.
Optimus soon went to his office as he put the cloth by his side and went back to work as he analysed the documents as he took notes of the time, it was 1:34pm on wednesday 14th 2017, the same time when the Autobots were on a mission to figure out on where that old datapad with Decepitcon information was, that was a couple of weeks ago and it was when Megatron was st seen around the forest retreating to get to the nemesis with his Decepitcons, Optimus wondered if that could connect to the clues reting to his old enemy's disappearance.
