Is the System intelligent? That’s a question many scholars throughout the years have pondered upon. I, for one, believe it is. There are many instances where its intelligence can be seen. The creation of new skills, especially unique ones, updating skill descriptions, and when people level up. In all of these cases, the System needs to do stuff that instinct alone could not allow. No creature can just instinctually create things from nothing but a wish, Djinn notwithstanding.

  All around me, everything froze. There were no of the usual sounds you would expect in a barren wasteland. No howling winds, buzzing of my mosquito pal’s wings… not a lot happens here, does it?
