[Scene 1 – The Encounter]
The episode begins with Kouchu and his friends walking through the outskirts of Dark City. They are just about to reach the area for their fourth medal challenge when they hear a loud scream in the distance.
Kouchu (concerned):
“Did you hear that? Someone’s in trouble!”
The brawlers rush toward the sound of the scream and find a girl being attacked by a dangerous creature, Tribune (トリビューン Toribyūn), a fearsome Crystal Monster known for its strength and aggressiveness.
Shauna (shouting):
“Kouchu, get ready! We need to help her!”
Roaracryst and the other Crystal Monsters jump into action, using their powers to subdue Tribune, who is momentarily distracted by the team. Kouchu quickly helps the girl get to safety, his heart racing as he looks at her.
Kouchu (panting, looking at the girl with admiration):
“Are you okay?”
The girl, 12-year-old Danelle Yukona (ダニア Dania), nods, her eyes wide with gratitude.
Danelle (breathing heavily):
“Thank you so much! You really saved me…”
Kouchu is momentarily stunned by her beauty but also feels a bit awkward.
Kouchu (shyly):
“Uh, it was nothing… I’m just glad you’re safe.”

[Scene 2 – Kouchu’s Struggle]
As the group moves away from the scene, Kouchu’s thoughts linger on Danelle. He is too shy to have a proper conversation with her and turns to his friends for advice.
Kouchu (nervously):
“Shauna… Sakuro… what should I do? I can’t stop thinking about her.”
Shauna (teasing):
“You’ve got a crush, huh? It’s pretty obvious.”
Sakuro (playfully):
“Just talk to her, man! You’ve got nothing to lose.”

Kouchu, however, remains unsure and stressed about how to approach her. He wishes he could impress her but keeps overthinking every detail.

[Scene 3 – The Picnic Plan]
The next day, Kouchu, Shauna, Sakuro, and the Crystal Monsters set up a picnic in a scenic spot near the forest. They plan for Kouchu to meet Danelle again, hoping to have a proper conversation.
Kouchu is sitting nervously, waiting for Danelle to appear. His friends hide behind a bush, giving him advice on what to say.
Shauna (whispering from behind the bush):
“Just be yourself! Don’t overthink it!”
Sakuro (whispering):
“Tell her something funny! You’ve got this!”
Kouchu, feeling the pressure, stands up as Danelle approaches the picnic spot. She smiles warmly at him, but Kouchu starts stammering, unsure of how to make the first move.
Kouchu (nervously):
“H-hey, Danelle! I uh… I mean, hi! You… you look great today! I mean, not that you didn’t before! I mean—”
Danelle blinks at him, confused by his flustered words. Kouchu continues to fumble, and his nervousness only grows.
Danelle (chuckling lightly):
“It’s okay, Kouchu. You don’t have to be nervous.”
Kouchu, sweating and embarrassed, attempts to change the topic but accidentally spills a drink all over himself, causing more awkwardness.
Kouchu (facepalming):
“I… I’m so sorry!”
Danelle, seeing his discomfort, giggles softly.
Danelle (gently):
“It’s alright, really. Don’t worry about it.”
?
[Scene 4 – Kouchu’s Misstep]
After the picnic, Danelle suddenly excuses herself and walks away, leaving Kouchu feeling confused and dejected.
Kouchu (sighing deeply):
“She… she just left. I messed everything up.”
Sakuro (comforting):
“Don’t be hard on yourself, man. Maybe it’s just not the right time.”
Shauna (nodding):
“Yeah, don’t give up! You’re still getting to know her.”
Kouchu, feeling determined to win her over, spends the next few days thinking of ways to impress Danelle. He tries writing her poems, hoping to show his feelings in a more heartfelt way. However, his poems turn out to be awkward and cheesy.
Kouchu (reading his poem aloud, unsure):
“‘Roses are red, violets are blue, I really think you’re awesome, please be with me too…’”
He cringes, unsure of what to do next.

[Scene 5 – A Heartfelt Conversation]
One evening, Danelle finds Kouchu sitting by the river, looking defeated. She sits down next to him, offering a soft smile.
Danelle (gently):
“Hey, Kouchu. I saw the poem you wrote. It was really sweet.”
Kouchu blushes deeply, surprised by her response.
Kouchu (mumbling):
“Really? You… you liked it?”
Danelle (nodding):
“It was cute. But you don’t need to try so hard to impress me. I can tell you’re a kind person.”
Danelle smiles warmly, and Kouchu feels his heart lift.
Danelle (softly):
“I admire someone who’s always true to themselves, not someone who tries to be perfect.”
Kouchu’s mood brightens, and he feels relieved. He finally realizes that he doesn’t need to force anything with her; he just needs to be himself.
Kouchu (smiling, more confident):
“Thanks, Danelle. I think I’ve been trying too hard. I’m just… me.”
Danelle (smiling):
“And that’s who I like.”
Kouchu’s heart swells with happiness, and they both share a genuine, warm smile. The episode ends with the two walking side by side, and Kouchu feels more at ease than ever before.

Kouchu (smiling to his friends):
“Let’s get that fourth medal!”
Shauna (playfully):
“Yeah, but you might want to keep writing those poems, Kouchu. You never know when it’ll come in handy.”
Kouchu laughs, his heart lighter than before, and the group sets off toward Dark City, ready for whatever adventure comes next.
