Chapter 6: The Return to Silence

After wreaking havoc in Britain, Satsujin Sha vanished once again, leaving no trace behind. Authorities were left baffled by his ability to disappear so seamlessly. While the world was still reeling from his recent attack, Satsujin quietly returned to Japan, where his legacy of terror had begun. However, time and the sheer brutality of his crimes had transformed him into a ghostly myth. People whispered his name in fear and disbelief, and the few who still remembered him were filled with horror.

Back in Osakawa, life had tried to return to normal. The school was rebuilt, the hospital reopened, and the town attempted to move on. Yet, the shadow of Satsujin Sha still lingered. But for most people, Satsujin was just a name—a phantom whose existence had blurred into the realm of folklore. Few even remembered his face. If anyone dared to ask about Satsujin Sha, the common response was, "I don't know who that is."

Satsujin himself was now a changed man. He had evaded capture and lived through his own twisted journey, but the weight of his crimes was slowly bearing down on him. Whether out of a perverse sense of closure or a deeper psychological need, he decided to take a step no one would expect. He walked into a police station in Tokyo, carrying nothing but his own dark history.

Without any hint of fear or remorse, Satsujin calmly approached the front desk. The officers looked up, surprised at the sight of this stranger with a chillingly calm demeanor. "I am the murderer," he stated pinly, his voice steady. "Please arrest me."

The room fell silent. The officers were taken aback by his directness. They gnced at each other, uncertain whether this was a sick joke or the truth. Eventually, they escorted Satsujin into custody, taking him to an interrogation room. There, he spoke in measured tones, detailing his crimes with unsettling crity. He appeared almost serene, as if unburdened by his confession. The officers were unnerved by his calmness but assumed he was finally ready to face justice.
