Well today is the day we set out on our little quest to get stronger. Was I excited? Yes. Was I a little nervous? Also yes.

I was actually so excited I ended up waking up before anyone else. Normally at least for the st couple of days I'd been the st to rise or close to st but today I was up before the sun.

My darling centaur that was currently cuddling with me did not like the fact I'd chosen today to be an early riser as she tried to smother me in her tits to stop me getting up. It stopped me trying to escape but definitely made me want to rise in another sense.

"A bit longer my love." She mumbled rolling in a way that fed her nipple into my mouth. I could definitely stay like this for another hour if need be.

Just behind Arath I could make out the faint outline of Kayalett against the ceiling watching me without blinking. Yip not creepy at all.

I tried to communicate to her with eye movements but nothing seemed to get much response. She did however blink back her own eyes individually. It was slightly unnerving. Although I wonder if I could teach her Morse code. That would also require me to know it so maybe make our own version? Something to think about.

Kayalett seemed to find something interesting in the way I had Araths tit in my mouth and moved her arms out of the way so hers were visible. It was definitely a sight and with how close I was currently cuddling with my head mare she definitely noticed.

"Do I need to find Willow or someone for you each morning?" She growled opening her eyes to gre at me. Following my gaze she also turned around to find Kayalett who blinked back. I should probably have given her a bit more warning to be honest.

"Mother of Raynas tits!" With a shout Arath was up in a fsh but hadn't got the bedding properly off and ended up face pnting into the ground in her haste.

I tried to bite back my ugh but it still came out as a snicker.

"Good morning beautiful. Can I use that curse?" I asked helping her untangle herself.

She ignored me and looked up at the arachne who was trying to get out of her web.

"Kayalett when did you spin a web in my bedroom?"

"Last night while you were bathing. I... I wanted to participate in the centaur tradition of joining your household. I believe I have done it correctly but from your reaction I've done something wrong." The spider woman replied attaching a few silk strands that pulled her little nest out of the way and into the corner of the room.

"I mean if you sleep naked normally I'm all for it." I gave Kayalett a good morning hug and a kiss feeling her fangs behind her lips.

"No you didn't do anything wrong. It's just. I wasn't expecting you on the ceiling. Yesterday was a bit too much and I didn't fully do my job as the head mare. I should have provided you with a room of your own and the basic necessities until Lazarus called on you to join us in the bedroom."

"To be fair. We have been moving very quickly. I believe we're up to five of us in the family now." I said only giving my little spider a quick once over in her naked state.

"Five?" Kayalett began to count off her hands. "I'm only counting four. Lazarus, Arath, Willow and myself. Who's the fifth?"

"Zemelly." Arath began. "Certain conditions have allowed her to jump the normal requirements and while I would normally be against it, she's needed for the future of this family. I'm sorry if that seems unfair to you Kayalett."

"I would like to know the reason if that's okay. It took me a few favours to get someone to teach me what I needed to do just to ask if I could join. I trust you Arath but this is a bit much."

"She's a priestess and I'm a god." I said getting straight to the point. "Apparently I need her to actually get skill points as I can't earn them without her."

Both girls snapped their heads in my direction.

"What she's part of our family. We don't keep secrets and before you ask Willow already knows."

Arath rubbed her temples. "Too much this early in the morning. Can you keep an eye on him for a bit Kayalett I need to pick up a few things for our trip?"

  "Of course." The arachne replied.

  "I don't need a babysitter." I grumbled.

"You were kidnapped in broad daylight for being a human. You will have a foalsitter if I have anything to say about it." I was given the 'don't talk back' face by my centaur and even Kayalett had a simir expression. I'll take the loss but when I'm stronger I do want to go for a walk by myself at some point.

  "Fine."

"Good. I shall see you guys before midday. Hopefully Willow is back by then and we can head off."

We watched Arath get changed and head out before repsing into silence for a time. It was a good thing we were trusted to be left alone together as st time I'd gotten drunk off her poison and Arath had walked in at just the wrong time.

"Shall we head to your store and get some supplies ourselves?" I asked wanting to get up and stretch a bit before we started walking to the dungeon. I could request a ride from either of the mares but sometimes I just want to do things myself.

Kayalett nodded still a bit distant in her gaze. Something that will need to be delt with before we leave but she also needed to get her thoughts in line before I bring up the topic. My pn at least was to bring it up in her store and hopefully the familiar environment keeps her calm.

Dressing was an interesting experience as instead of putting cloths on Kayalett simply made some more with her silk. It was very thin and almost see through but after a few yers it reminded me of a tune top from my old world. I unfortunately had to put the toga back on, after I'd watched my spider woman of course.

No one else was in the house so we left quickly and started making our way through town as the sun rose. It was a bit slow going with Kayalett gging behind and by the time we'd gotten into her store I'd had enough. Locking the door so we wouldn't be disturbed I turned to her.

"Okay spill. What's got you down?"

  "Nothing."

"Oh please don't give me that. We're about to go into a dungeon and our lives will literally be in your hands as our healer. We can't have you hesitating or holding a grudge, it's what gets teams killed. So unless you tell me now so we can fix it I will be forcing you to stay here." I was being a little forceful but I wasn't wrong about it killing teams.

  "You can't...." Kayalett began.

"Can and will." I interrupted her.

There was an uncomfortable silence as the arachne argued within her own mind before she let out a sigh and stuck some silk to the roof to make herself a simple swinging chair. I let her without interruption hoping I could fix whatever this was. When she was done Kayalett sat down and brushed her hair completely out of her face allowing me to see all six of her eyes.

"I just feel cheated. It wasn't cheap healing you when you first arrived, I had to say no to a few customers that needed attention because I didn't have the essence for two days. Then I had to get someone to teach me centaur courting and that was a pain. Do you know how many centaurs want to teach an arachne how to get into their families?"

  I shook my head.

"None. Had to give almost a weeks worth of potions just so they would tell me. And now on the very same day that I'm accepted, another girl is in as well with a convenient excuse that's she's more important than me. And that's not including the fact Arath said I had to wait yet she still let Willow in before I even got my chance!"

I gave her a second, a small part of me knowing there was more.

"I just feel cheated. I've arguably given the most to be part of your harem and am the st one to even get to sleep with you."

She gave a breath. Some of the stress leaving her. I didn't mention that I haven't slept with Willow yet, seemed like the wrong time.

"Please don't try and have sex with me now. I would rather it not be out of pity."

Yeah unfortunately I can see exactly where she's coming from and she is very valid. Walking up to her I gave her a kiss on the cheek. Kayalett kissed me back and I took that as a good sign. Not that I'd do anything as she said she didn't want to but I hoped the gesture got through.

Trying to get into her swing proved a bit difficult and after some struggling and a little bit of a snicker Kayalett made my own right beside hers.

"I don't have an immediate solution, but I do agree with what you've said. Hell I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of this and have kinda let Arath take the lead. Is there anything you'd like me to do?"

  "I don't know."

This was going to be difficult. Not like I could say we'll stop here. Rayna has already made her cim known and she wants me to tempt the elven priestess so there's another two, hopefully in the far future as even I agree this is a little fast.

"Would it help to know apart from Arath you are the only one who's actually slept the night in the same room as me?"

That got a small ugh from her.

  "Slightly."

There was another bit of silence between the two of us as I thought through what I was going to say. My best bet here was to be honest as there really wasn't much I could do. Willow was let in because of her condition and I didn't want to leave her alone yet Zemelly was a complete curve ball. I needed her and Araths idea it seemed was to make her part of the family so she wouldn't want to leave. Kayalett didn't know where she fitted in.

"Kayalett I don't have an easy solution I'm sorry. I'm kind of just rolling with it, taking everything as it comes. I don't mean to devalue you in any way I just." I stopped to give myself a breath. "I'm just lucky with how everythings turning out, by rights I should be dead if Arath hadn't been there when I first arrived. I promise I will never forget what you have done and your pce in our family but I don't know what our future has in store. If it's too much I understand. We can find a way to pay you back for everything and you can go back to your old life."

She started at me. "Do you want me to leave?"

"I want you to be happy."

She blew a raspberry at that. "You are way too cheesy."

I gave her a smile. "If that's what it takes."

Rolling her eyes Kayalett brought one of her legs around and started to push my swing.

"I don't want to leave. I'm actually more inclined to stay if you are wanted by a lot of people, part of my nature unfortunately. But you are not to forget about me that is what I'm afraid of. At least before you give me little spiderlings." Her eyes glinted with mischief as she rubbed her abdomen but quickly came back to her normal look, half of her face now covered with hair again. "Thank you for hearing me out. It helped."

"Communication is the foundation of a happy retionship." I replied back.

"Now that was too cheesy." My spider woman snickered holding a hand in front of her mouth to try and stop the giggles that threatened to come forth.

This time I rolled my eyes taking the opportunity to grab her leg and pce it on my p mostly to stop swinging but also to show I meant it. I was never too good with this sort of thing in the world I was summoned to rgely because there was no time so it felt good I could resolve this at least. I would have to do something about this in the future, something to show her I was serious but for now it'll have to do.

We stayed in our little makeshift swings for a while just in each other's company enjoying the silence. It was nice nothing to worry about.

That was until a soft knock came from the door. Followed by Willows voice.

"Lazarus are you in there. I've got something for you."
