Our arrival was noticed instantly by the two Paragons.

"Well then Feru we can ask him right now." Seveneth silenced the fairy with an almost bored expression. "I haven't had any of my brew this morning and you dragged me out of bed."

Feru whimpered when we all looked in her direction and almost jumped out of her skin when Kayalett deactivated her invisibility behind her.

"Forgive me my lord. I didn't announce myself when I heard them arguing, I was afraid of their reaction."

"My lord? Dam I'm beginning to believe Feru if that's how you all speak to him." Seveneth chuckled to herself.

So Seveneth doesn't believe her then. Arath was almost hugging my side even though I was still riding Willow, her armor glowing softly around her body.

Seveneth snapped her fingers and a table filled with food popped into existence between us.

"Now we eat. Once we've filled out belly's we go from there, all right?" She gred between Arath and Feru as the two of them seemed like the most likely to draw swords at the moment.

"Crystal." I answered for my girls.

I'll be honest I was hungry and not as afraid of these two as I should be. Sure Seveneth looked like she could bench press Arath and Willow together but she didn't seem like one to jump to violence as her first option. That being said Rayna did freeze time during our first encounter so maybe I was being a little hasty.

Dismounting Willow we all approached the table with different opinions. Kayalett and Arath seemed to agree as both of them mumbled the same spell under their breaths then shown a blue light over the dispyed food. Willow stuck close to my hip trying to put herself between Feru and myself.

"It's not poisoned little centaur. Your human is still under Raynas protection. God or not I'm not stupid enough to try to kill him or you for that matter so can we put this hostility aside and have a nice meal." Seveneth sighed kneeling down like she was Japanese in front of the table.

"So if Rayna wasn't protecting me you would do something?" My question made the Amazonian ugh.

"Maybe, maybe not. Feru is definitely scared of you but how much of that is because she hates gods is hard to tell. This nd has remained godless for a long time helped by Rayna but a rger part is because no one cares about any of the current God's. Most God's don't want to cim an area that has a bunch of species that won't worship them not to mention the elves and their world tree that think themselves better than everyone else to begin with. Hard for a being like them to actually rally when the elves can just threaten them with cosmic creatures from other worlds." Seveneth finished by picking up a leg bone of some sort and tearing into it.

Creatures like me, I silently thought.

Following her lead I picked up a few items that looked like meat and pced them between some bread in the best creation of a sandwich I could make. There was no butter or any spreads like that just bread some eggs and lots of meat. With what I hoped was coffee but smelt much stronger.

Kayalett was the only one of the girls that began to eat but I highly suspect that was only because she needed to wrap and liquify her food first. Both my mares stood still watching the Paragons.

"You seem oddly calm. I presume by the actions of the red head that Feru is correct in that you are a fledgling god but you seem not to care. Why is that?" Seveneth asked in between bites.

"Protection I guess." I replied finding an odd looking blue potato and deciding to give it a try. "You guys seem afraid of any retaliation from Rayna and I hope I haven't given you a reason to want to harm me. I'm a firm believer in just letting bygones be bygones. I have no reason to want to hinder that retionship."

Seveneth scoffed at my response. "You really are a fledgling god ain't you." It wasn't a question as the Amazonian finished with her meal, having already devoured almost three ptes in the few seconds we'd been talking.

"Something like that." I responded hiding my smile behind my food. Knowing I was a fledgling god was one thing but a Primordial? Let's keep that one secret as long as Rayna hasn't already spilt the beans.

"That wasn't a complement. You'll find out you need to prove yourself a lot round here if you want people to respect you as a god." I was about to respond but she caught the look in my eye. "Nope. Don't give me that crap. You want people to respect you or they'll think you're a push over that they can take whatever from. Do you want the elves to think Raynas gone soft caring for someone weak?"

Arath stiffened beside me at the mention of her Paragon being weak.

"No." I signed in return, my own sandwich having disappeared into my stomach. I started to make another.

"Good Amazonians are simir. We value strength above all else especially in moments like this where a god comes into our mists. We want that god to be strong, strong enough to install fear in others at the mention of his name. Strong enough that he can beat all the Paragons into submission. Only someone like that would get our worship. And respect."

I didn't get much more warning than that before Seveneth picked up the table and threw it at me.

Bless my reaction speed for blinking just out of the way still holding my second sandwich.

Without the table the room suddenly looked a lot bigger. Panic set in as I remembered the girls and I found them quickly in one corner of the room bound in ethereal green ribbons that Feru was weaving into existence.

"Never take your eye off your opponent." Seveneth growled as her first came at my head from my blind spot.

I didn't turn and just used presence detection to block the fist with my hand. The Amazonian Paragon looked almost surprised. Almost.

Ducking under her other fist as it came around I pnted my heel into her knee, pushing her off bance only to drive my heel into her ribs to try and keep her down a bit longer. I growled under my breath as I lost my sandwich with that move.

Using the opportunity I summoned my give with a thought and threw it at Feru trying to get the girls free. Seveneth didn't allow it unfortunately.

Using blink herself she appeared in front of my throw catching the bde. "Not bad. You could definitely beat a Amazonian. But I doubt you could live up to a Paragon."

Summoning the give back to me Seveneth blinked again this time coming from behind.

I moved my gives tip to angle in her direction causing her to hesitate with her next strike. It worked but I didn't expect the Paragon to move as fast as she did afterwards and I caught her knee in my side for that mistake.

  Resistance 8 acquired.

  Dam it that hurt.

Blinking to put some distance between us I tried to bring some air into my winded lungs. I wasn't given much of a chance as Seveneth followed my retreat throwing quick jabs that each held the strength of a freight train. Brute strength was definitely her forte and even with my skills I wasn't on the same level. Usually in the world I was summoned to I'd make up for this with magic but that was an area I hadn't focused too much on and with Ferus dispy of bounding my girls it was showing.

Blocking didn't serve me well as the bruises started to pile up on my arms, her movements too fast for me to do anything more than be defensive. One crossed came from my right and even as I saw Seveneth wind it up I knew my arms wouldn't respond in time.

The strike caught my ribs and I felt them break, the bones following her momentum into my organs. I grimaced through the pain but I could hear Arath whimper.

That hurt more than the hit. She may be my padin but I refuse to be the one hiding behind her.

Seveneth wound up another, the look in her eyes showed me almost pity. She thought she'd already won, and like any good fighter I kept one trick up my sleeve.

Just as her next strike was going to nd I activated Limitless Primordial.
