The moment Diego rushed towards us, both his forearms glowed a bright gold as they got coated in a metallic coating, the coatings immediately hardened forming golden gauntlets, where his fists protruded short spikes resembling brass knuckles.
The bastard's aiming to go and crush my face in! Gritting my teeth and focusing on Diego's movement I couldn't help but focus on my teammates first!
“Scatter!” I turned my back and shouted at Senko and Toda to scatter away!
“Focus on yourself first!” Senko shouted back and pointed behind me.
I immediately did another quick turn to which Diego was now only a few feet away.
“DIE YOU INSUBORDINATE MOUND OF EXCREMENT!”
The moment Diego's golden forearm was about to collide with my face, he suddenly redirected his arm in a way to block his head. A sickle thrown by Toda-kun had managed to pierce the gold coating on his forearms and Diego took damage.
“Tch…” Diego's eyes were filled with rage as the sickle had directly pierced through his supposed gold gauntlets as blood started pouring out of the wound.
“Don't forget that I'm here too,” Toda-kun announced in a threatening tone while preparing a longer scythe.
The moment Diego got distracted I realized it was my chance to strike back.
“Now's my chance!”
I immediately kicked his gut, causing him to grunt in pain and stagger where his hat fell to the ground while I quickly spun around and kicked his lower leg causing him to get knocked back!
However, Diego was a really tough nut to crack! He immediately regained his footing and positioned himself in a stance that didn't have that many openings.
“Where's all that Tough Bravado went huh Diego?” I quickly prepared my sword, followed by picking up his cowboy hat and throwing it back at him to where he caught it and put it back on.
Diego stood there with bloodshot eyes and was preparing to fight all three of us at once. Any other person would find him stupid for still choosing to fight a 3 v 1, I for one find it quite respectful and noble.
“Not so fast, pal!” Toda-kun quickly dashed behind him and was preparing to attack, while Senko had his bow locked on to Diego’s head from the sidelines.
“Filthy… swine… I'll have all your heads mounted in pikes you hear me!?” Shouted Diego as massive purplish-red sparks and jolts surrounded his Gauntlets.
I've never seen anyone in the game do that before, was that part of the new update or a new mechanic that wasn't listed in the patch notes? Whatever it was He didn't scare me
“Answer me now! Why did you follow us here” I held my pistol in my hand and aimed it at his chest.
Diego stood there confidently, took a deep breath, and decided to answer my damn question about why he followed us here.
“It's quite simple, isn't it? I was here for your scythe-wielding friend, but it seems that simple communication is non-negotiable and that his loyalty is already pced somewhere else, such a shame his power Would've been unleashed in my cn hahaha!!
His voice was filled with confidence, it was like he had fully regained his cool demeanor and chilled-out composure, I'm starting to wonder if his Royalty schtick is some sort of Act, it wasn't that far off for pyers to rolepy on a video game so what makes this anything new to someone like Diego.
More importantly, why did he want to have Toda-kun's loyalty? What sort of business does he have with him? Are they allies?
“Why him?” Senko asked loudly as he prepared his bo-staff.l
“My business with Mr. Green Reaper over there is none of your concern Ginger head.” Diego smoothly responded.
Ginger head? Was that supposed to be an insult from the same dude who wore a crop top a while ago!?
“What did you call me?” Senko approached twirling his staff, preparing to bash Diego's face in.
“Take it easy buddy, I'm not done asking him questions,” I spoke loudly at Senko to which he nodded in agreement and stopped approaching.
“You're the boss of those poachers Hakura and I stopped right? What were the poachers gonna do with the captured dinosaurs during the game's unch?” I demanded he answer.
“Those poachers are all merely mercenaries I hired, I heard one of them nearly killed you if it wasn't for your little girlfriend healing the Neovenator where it completely devoured Lil Tim.” Diego lowered his arms as his gauntlets disappeared.
Lil Tim? That was the guy Haruka and I stopped during the game's unch. Moreover, why did he assume Haruka was my girlfriend? Just how much does He know about what happened that night!?
The atmosphere seems to have cooled down. Diego didn't seem like he was serious about this 3 v 1.
Maybe this was a chance to get more information out of this guy.
“What's the goal of your cn?” I lowered my pistol but held my sword tightly.
I signaled Senko and Toda-kun to lower their weapons to lower the chance of anyone shing out.
“The goal of the Enrico Cn?” Diego raised His eyebrows in confidence.
“Yes.” I quickly answered.
“Well then, If you insist! I shall enlighten you filthy peasants and spread the goodwill of the Magnificent Enrico Cn!” Diego spread his arms as if he was about to catch a DizzKnee Princess.
Oh boy, this was a mistake asking him.
I quickly looked at Senko and Toda-kun, they seemed to be dreading what Diego was about to start yapping on about what the Enrico cn's goal was.
“The Enrico cn's goal is simply to take over the world of kyoryu online, our goal is to have absolute control over the entirety of the world!” Diego excimed pridefully as if he were an Idol talking to his fans.
“How exactly do you pn to do it then?” I raised and aimed my pistol towards Diego again.
“I'm gd you asked, my dear Peasant! I pn to mass produce an army of biologically enhanced Utahraptors, Make them faster, stronger, and relentless! All in the name of Me, DIEGO!” The guy pointed a thumbs up at himself, his red eyes glowed sharply.
Diego Stood very pridefully in a rather fmboyant and feminine way, as if this was a masquerade and he was the actor!
“I've had enough of this!” Senko spoke up and threw an arrow at Diego where he just tilted his head to avoid the impact, a gold gauntlet formed on his left forearm and he quickly drew a revolver and fired it at Senko.
“Lookout!” I shouted to warn Senko.
“Shit!” Senko crossed his forearms where the bullet immediately struck causing him to bleed profusely.
That idiot! He shouldn't have attacked first!! Now we're all forced to engage!
“Move another muscle and you're dead.” I fired a warning shot at the rock Diego.
“Oh~ I'm not the one who's dead, for as you see~ you're all already dead!”
“Us? Already dead!? Don't make me ugh! You and what army!?”
Toda-kun prepared his scythe again.
“Hahahah…!! Ahahaha! What army? What army!? This! Army!!!”
Diego quickly snapped his fingers behind him as several Utahraptors leaped off the tall grass and stood by his side.
“Now Peasants we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way! Now I'll let all three of you off the hook for now, but just so you know~ The next time there will be no mercy!” Diego confidently walked off as the Utahraptors focused their sights on each of us making sure we couldn't engage before following their master.
“We were all wrapped around his damn finger!” shouted Senko.
“For now, Toda-kun should leave, he has no business getting involved in my fight with Diego.”
“But.”
“Thank you for the help, but this is our fight, I'll be sure to nd a Hit for you,” I expined further.
We all agreed to not have any other innocent people get involved with Diego's schematics, Toda-kun agreed to help supply Us with gears but not be directly involved, we returned to town, Waved goodbye to Senko and Toda-kun, and all of us logged off for the day.

I took the VR headset off looked around my room, and noticed Akane was studying, best not to intrude on her.
I checked my phone, there was a text message from Haruka.
Sakura Haruka-Senpai: “Hey Yuuki, are you free for tomorrow? The club needs every member tomorrow to discuss what to do for the Cultural festival, please reply quickly when you can. Don't forget to remind Senko-kun alright?"
