Eli sits in the soccer teams locker room. his head down as his right leg jumps up and down nervously. he tightens the laces on his cleats as he takes a deep breath “Well. i didnt expect to make it this far i dont even watch soccer now im playing a whole ass match for my school’s team!” he exclaims within his mind as he leans his head against one of the lockers and runs a hand through his hair “that asshole darren was supposed to be playing first but he didnt even show up to practice and now he’s not even here for the actual match. no matter what this guy does he just always manages to be an asshole” eli sighs as he talks to himself. “plus..i have to keep my powers on a tight leash. i swear it gets harder to control every day.” as eli gets up Lee walks in “Dude what are you doing its almost time for the match and coach is out they’re going over the game plan.” he pauses as he sees the stressed out look on eli’s face “yo. man you alright?” he walks up to eli and places a hand on his shoulder “im fine, im fine lets do this” eli takes a deep breath and lee smirks “there’s my boy lets go, remember i’ll set you up with some easy shots alright?” eli nods and they both walk out of the locker room. as they do kiko and sasha can be seen across the field sitting on the bleachers surrounded by other students and even teachers spectating the match cheering and shouting can be heard all throughout the field. “yeesh people really do get hyped over soccar huh? the match hasnt even started yet” sasha say’s slightly annoyed with the noise eminating throughout the crowd kiko chuckles “i guess thats just how sports is…hey wait a sec look” kiko taps sasha on her shoulder “its eli and lee…eli looks nervous. i wonder if he’s doing alright.” sasha rolls her eyes of course he’s nervous gets nervous over everything. but i guess it is valid though. it is his first real match.” sasha’s expression slight lightens up a bit. “i suppose your right…hey lets cheer him up a bit!” kiko smiles at sasha “hey wait no!” sasha tries to stop kiko but she’s already shouting out to eli “Hey eli! good luck out there” she waves frantically towards him eli smiles slightly and waves back “yeah hurry up and start playing this is getting boring by the minute eli! and dont lose!” she smirks at eli and he continues to walk up the field towards the coach. Alright i know this is the first match of the season of you guys but i need you guys on your A game got it? i wanna atleast make it to the semi finals!” coach Rosenfield huddles up the players as he speaks then turns to eli and lee “and you two my little prodigies, do me good out there alright? or i might just retire out of embarrassment. ready all of you?” “3 2 1 Go!” they unanimously shout as they take they’re positions on the field eli and lee nod toward eachother as the whistle blows as the kick off begins lee dashes toward the opposing player who had possession of the ball to begin defending he sprints toward him but he manages to kick it away from lee “damn it. Eli! need help over he-” lee’s words are cut off as he is shocked to see eli dash towards the opposing player and easily steals the ball right between his legs and dashes towards the other side of the field. “holy shit eli!” lee whispers under his breath he chuckles in disbelief and begins to sprint as well. eli looks frantically aroudn the field trying his best to take note of the defenders heading his way when suddenly he’s caught off guard by one of the opposing players attempting a slide tackle eli panics and passes the ball behind him “shit I didnt know what to do!” he turns around only to see that lee was behind him and got the ball “Dont worry i’ve got it!” eli smiles and sprints ahead easily getting some distance from most of the defenders. Lee lobs the ball toward eli. he looks at the ball in the air and then toward the goal. with a worried look on his face. “shit..i-i dont know if im close enough to make this..but i dont have any other choice. i’ve got most of the other team headed towards me and all my teamates arn’t open…agh fuck it!” eli jumps up into the air surprisingly high and stops the ball on his chest “what the-” lee says in disbelief once again. the ball lands at eli’s feet. everything seems to slow electricity seems to crackle in and around eli’s eyes as he moves his right foot back electricity crackles subtly around it as well as eli brings his foot onto the ball time seems to return to normal as the ball flies and incredible speed through the air and curves surprising the goal keeper as it blasts right into net the crowd goes completely silent. every single player on the field stands still. the coach takes his hat off in disbelief and shouts in excitement “Hell yeah Cross! thats my boy!” that exact moment the crowd erupts in shouts and whistles kiko and sasha are in shock as they turn and look at each other with wide smiles on they’re faces. “eli…holy shit!” eli just stands in the middle of the field in shock “holy crap! did i really just do that?! that was fucking insane i hope nobody saw all that electricity!” as he thinks that he looks down at his hands when im in the heat of the moment i just…cant control it” just then lee runs up behind him and pats him on the back “that was crazy eli how the hell did you manage that from so far?!”. A figure stands atop the roof of the school building. as it steps toward the edge of the building the moonlight reveals it to be Darren. “this little shit thinks he’s got some kind of talent?” he chuckles “talent my ass.” he smirks as he cracks his neck and begins to transform. his skin begins to crack. he his body begins to grow taller his skin fully hardens and once he’s done he’s a towering form. his voice deeper. “time to crash this party. now this is the fun part!” he leaps high into the air and lands right in the middle of the field making a large hole in the field the crowd gasps in confusion “was that a meteor or something?” someone in the crowd asks. “did you see that?” kiko asks sasha “not really what just happened” suddenly Darren jumps out of crater he made “Whats up everybody? who’s happy to see me?” the force of his landing causes the ground to shake slight causing some people in the bleachers to fall “is that a supervillain?!” “oh my god we need to run!” people in the crowd screamed and shouted as they rushed to leave sasha turned to kiko “Kiko we have to go Now!” kiko nods but turns her head toward eli who was staring at the giant rock monster just like all the others. “eli will will make it just run!” she grabs her hand they begin to run as fast as they could “oh whats wrong is there something on my face?!” darren chuckles as he buries his hands into ground below him lifting a huge chuck of it out beneath him and throws it toward the crowd causing more hysteria most of the players on the field were already running for they’re lives but Darren was just laughing and chucking chunks of the floor at everyone he saw “Lee run! i dont know what the hell that is but we have to go!” Lee makes a run for it and eli attempts to do the same but Darren leaps into the air and lands right infront of eli causing him to fall to his feet “oh no you dont you little jackass!” he says with a chuckle “what the hell! what are you!” eli shouts as he gets up “shut up you little shit and get over here!” darren reaches out to grab eli but eli rolls out of the way and makes a run for it but Darren grabs a chunk of the ground and chucks it right after eli which hits him directly sending him flying into one of the flood lights the sheer force of eli’s impact bending the thick metal eli screams out in pain but somehow isnt seriously injuried “fuck that hurts! but how the hell am i not dead?!” he thinks to him self as he rolls the huge chunk of the earth from off him and runs away from Darren but he immedietly gets grabbed by his huge hands and is brought directly infront of darrens face “so you little shit you thought you could just replace me and i wouldnt do shit about it? well obviously you were dead wrong.” he chuckles out loud i’ve got powers now you little bitch and i know you do too so dont even try to play innocent.” eli’s eyes widen in shock and fear “shit! some one already knows about my powers! but..how” he thinks to himself. “Wait! who are yo- no way….Darren?!” of course its me you dense little shit but after im dont with you i wont by going by that anymore you know i’ve been thinking of a new name how does..Hardrock sound? what do you think?” he asks eli excitedly “yeah real creative fucker as if you couldn’t be anymore obvious” eli says blatantly challenging Darren “oh fuck you smart ass!” Darren throws eli into the soccer field with tremendous force making him shout out in pain “Fuck!” Darren leaps in the air intending to crush eli but he manages to roll out of the way and make a run for it as he begins to think “fuck fuck fuck fuck what am i gonna do! i dont even know how to use my fucking powers yet what am i supposed to-wait i have super strength!” just when darren is about to grab eli. he spins around and punches his hand away “ow you little shit your finnaly showing me what you can do! good becuase im gonna crush you” darren punches eli sending him flying into the wall of the school darren rushes toward the wall and rams right into eli making him scream in pain as eli lays on the ground darren clamps his hands together and brings it down on eli but he dodges jumps on darrens hands and gives him to good punches to the face before grabbing a locker and throwing it at darrens legs making him fall to ground. darren growls in frustration and throws multiple lockers at eli. he panics and manages to punch a few lockers out of the way but gets hit by on darren grabs him and throws him through multiple walls through out the school again as he lands on the ground darren kicks him back out onto the field he manages to get up and tries run but darren stomps near him causing him to fall again darren chuckles and tries to slam his hands down onto to eli but he catches them “you really think your gonna make it out of this alive dont you? sorry to say but thats not happening!” darren smirks and his pushes harder against eli but eli manages to hold his ground but cant find the strength to push back he grunts in exertion as darren presses down more and more “No…no I wont Let you!” Eli’s Eye’s start to glow bright blue and electricity begins to crackle within them electricity eminates around him and eli manages to find the strength to push back against Darren surprising him “What?! how many fucking powers do you have!?” Eli roars and sends strong waves of electricity through out darren’s body but he jsut chuckles “you idiot im made out of stone!” darren pulls his hand back and punches eli into the ground picks him up again and slams him all round the field before throwing him up into the air eli’s eyes widen in fear as he braces for the incredible pain darren leaps up grabs eli by the arms and legs and lands on one knee as he sticks the other one out causing Eli to land on it and loud crack can be heard as eli’s back is broken he coughs out blood as he screams in agony Darren just laughs “this is what you deserve you little prodigy!” darren throws him to the ground “time to get this over with. cant afford to get caught here whne the cops get here too much work to kill them all eli struggles to breathe but his eyes start glowing blue again with incredible pain he manages to get up catching Darren off gaurd he leaps upwards and uppercuts darren as he lands he roars loudly and large amounts of electricity surges out of him as darren stumbles backward after the upper cut eli gives him multiple punches in the gut causing darren to fall backwards “where are you getting all this streangth from!?” Eli grabs Darren by his feet and hauls him upwards and swings him round and round before sending him flying into the flood light he was previously sent flying into. eli doesnt let up and leaps toward darren who opens his eyes to see eli coming toward him he tries to raise his hands but eli slaps the away and begins to haul punch after punch at darrens face soon enough the punches speed up impossibly electricity crackling around his fists as he begins to punch at super speed eli roars again electricity surging out wards as the punches get faster the stone on darrens skin begins to crack and when some of it full does eli clasps his hands together and smashes darren in the face completely breaking the stone protecting his face when he does he does he hops off of darren and kicks the pole fo the flood light causing the lights to fall right toward darren who’s eyes widen in fear “Wait dont!” as the lights crash right onto darren. eli jumps ontop of them and grabs them and pours large amounts of electricity into them making hte bulbs burst as he electrocutes darren, once Darren is knocked uncounsious by the electricity his powers deactivate. the stone crumbles. and he shrinks back down to his normal size. eli who’s in in extreme pain, powers down the blue glow in his eye’s disappearing and the electricity shimmering out. he rolls off of the flood lights and shouts in pain as he lands on his back “I-have…to g-get home…” he wheezes out as he clutches his back and walks off into the shadow’s as sirens begin to get close. after a while. we see Ecco standing atop a nearby building to the school. the nigh time wind causing her hair blue to sway. her cold expression never ceasing as he looks onto the field where police have gathered and other heroes are Just now flying in. she takes her phone out and puts it to her ears. “Sir. the asset. was defeated by an unknown person. it doesn't seem to be the work of any known hero. i didnt arrive on the scene quick enough to see the fight play out but it seemed like a big one.” the distorted voice begins to speak “and the status of the asset?” “taken into custody sir.” ecco replies bluntly “for fucks sake ecco. have a retrieval team follow those police cruisers so we can retrieve that asset. but for not forget about him. what i wanna know more about is what took it down. Ecco if you hear anymore whispers about out new little hero in town you report to me directly. understood? now go do your job.” the person hangs up. ecco remains atop the building a few moments more before retreating back to the shadows.
