Xander and Blossom sit on the soft baby pink colored stools. Xanders accessorized hands hug the long glass cup. Blossom’s soft lips touch her pink and white striped shirt. The milkshakes matter interacting with her warm weird mouth, making the environment of her mouth feel as if a cold breeze perfumed her mouth with cold atoms. Xanders eyes finally catch him.
The same guy he bonded in over cigarettes…
Was now chatting with some little souled children wearing a pink maid outfit and a white apron with Hello Kitty on it?
What the hell?
Xanders bushy eyebrows furrowed as his eyes squinted at the scene unfolding in front of him. The man’s glitchy background was unnoticed by Xander as the man smiled his lips at Xander. A pink glove was now smiling at him as it waved and told him “Hello.”
Finally the man speaks.
“Hey cigarette guy. Small world, isn’t it?” He chuckles.
Xanders to meet the unknown yet familiar set if eyes the man held.
“Uhm, hello?”

“I’m newly hired here. Mr.Pochi told me you’re a regular costumer. Anyway, since you’re going to probably see me for a while, you might as well know my name. I’m mark.” Mark stood there, his pink gloves stuck his hips proudly as he waited for Xander to introduce himself.
All Xander did was make an awkward face with pressed lips and uncomfortable nodding.
“What’s your name?” Mark spoke again, his eyes still smiling at Xander.
“I’m Xander.” “Cool name.” “Uh thanks.” They both stared at each other, not knowing whether to continue talking or to just be awkward but comfortable with the silence.
Finally, Xander felt comfortable enough to open his mouth and let his vocal cords speak his thoughts.
“How old are you?” “Twenty. Do you like my pink ribbons?” “Yeah, I guess.” “Great! Now I’m going to go continue working.” “Give him your number! So you guys could hang out!” Blossom Whispered. “No-“
“Sure!” Mark said immediately as he grabbed a paper and wrote down his number on a small pink napkin. “Take it or leave it. Your choice.”
He walks back to the hospital with his mother on his side. “So, is Mark a new friend?” She asked. “I guess so” Xander gripped the little napkin tighter. Blossom placed her fingers onto his soft strands. “I’m proud of you becoming more social.” Her voice spoke with a smile. Her hand flew down to her side. “It doesn’t change anything...” He answered in response to her positivity.
“Oh but it does, your just too busy reading your comics and manga’s to notice.”
He chuckled. “I’m not always reading.”
“Really? Last year, all your teachers told me that you barely talked to anyone. Baby, your class didn’t know you existed.” “
“And that’s what I wanted.” He says, nodding at whatever is in front of him.
