Scene Nine — "The Voice of a Broken Heart"

After a suffocating silence in the room…

Suddenly, it’s like a new door opens inside him,

A new contender joins the battle...

  “The Heart.”

A warm, trembling voice, wounded… but still there:

  ?? Heart (with deep pain):

  "Let me speak…

  Enough stabbing... enough cruelty.

  He tried to love…

  Tried to trust people…

But I… I was the one who broke."

  ?? Mind (with utter contempt):

  "Love?

  Trust?

  Those are useless here!

This is a battlefield, not a nursery of emotions!

You’re the reason we’re in this mess!

  You made him weak—

  Let him cling to illusions!"

  ?? Heart (shaking but firm):

  "Humans love to survive…

  Not to win battles!

I had to feel… had to live the experience—

Even if it ended in shattering and loss."

  ?? Mind (exploding with rage):

  "Lies!

Your love brought nothing but destruction!

You turned us into a crashed fighter plane—

He clung to people who weren’t his,

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

And lost himself chasing empty feelings!"

  ?? Heart (suppressing tears):

  "He just wanted warmth…

  A hug… a word to soothe him…

He didn’t want to fight alone,

He just wanted to feel like he belonged in this chaos..."

  ?? Mind (with dark sarcasm):

  "And what did he find?

  Stabs, abandonment, betrayal—

  All thanks to you!

Your weakness dragged us into the mud!"

?? Him (standing silently, eyes full of tears he can’t let fall),

  Feeling attacked from every side.

His mind accuses him of weakness,

And his heart pleads to be understood.

  ?? Heart (finally breaking, shouting):

  "He’s not a machine!

  He’s a human being…

  He had to feel—

Even if it ended in pain."

?? Mind (cutting him off harshly):

  "Feel?

  Look at the result!

  Collapse… isolation… an endless war!

You opened the door to slow death with your own hands!"

?? Him (finally exploding, voice slicing through the silence):

  "You’re all wrong!

  I’m wrong!

I don’t even know who I am anymore!"

  The room grows colder,

Their argument echoing through every corner…

  His mind tortures him,

  His heart bleeds before him,

  And in the middle…

He doesn’t know where to stand,

Can’t stop the bleeding, can’t silence the fire.

Feels like a real war zone,

  Bullets roaring…

  Blood splashing…

And an inner voice screaming silently:

  "I’m not enough… and I’ll never be."
