“Oh, right. I’ve been having a bit of trouble pronouncing my full name. Could you say it for me clearly?” Irkhan made up an excuse—it would be strange if someone didn’t remember their own name.
“That’s an easy request, Young Master. Your full name is Kieran Louis Lavoisier. You are the third son of Lord Austin Liam Lavoisier,” Erick answered proudly.
Such an extravagant name. From the way Erick spoke with pride, it was clear that Kieran now belonged to a very prestigious family.
“I see. Could you bring me a book about my family, a book about world history, and one about this empire?” Kieran requested, believing that the most accurate information would come from reading directly.
“Of course, Young Master. I’ll prepare them right away. If you’ll excuse me,” Erick said, bowing before leaving to fulfill Kieran’s request.
Irkhan—now Kieran—waited beneath a large shady tree, his small body leaning back against the trunk. He gazed at the sky, squinting against the light as it grew brighter. He closed his eyes. Countless thoughts swirled in his mind—his past life, his current life, and above all, Luna. Had Luna been reincarnated too? It was possible—they had died together. But maybe Luna had been reborn elsewhere, in a different world entirely.
After experiencing reincarnation himself, Kieran had started to believe that multiple worlds existed across the universe. Still, he remembered what Luna had once told him—only she was allowed to touch his body. He belonged to her, and she belonged to him. No matter that they were now separated by life and death. Kieran would never forget her.

Meanwhile, Erick went to see the Head Butler of the Lavoisier family. He had to report the Young Master's requests, as they would ultimately be relayed to Lord Austin.
“Greetings, Butler Levan,” Erick said respectfully.
Levan Habner was a man of 29, well-built, with sharp black eyes. He was a trusted companion of Austin Liam Lavoisier, handpicked to manage the affairs of the Lavoisier family. His position was far above that of a regular servant.
Levan looked at Erick, clearly expecting him to speak.
Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.
“Go on,” Levan said tersely.
“Young Master Kieran has asked for the Lavoisier family genealogy book, a world history book, and one about the empire,” Erick reported clearly.
Levan furrowed his brows. For a child so young to ask for history books—it was unusual. Previously, the Young Master had always wanted to leave the mansion.
“Very well. Prepare what the Young Master asked for. Make sure his needs are met so he stops trying to run away,” Levan said firmly.
“Yes, Butler Levan. I’ll take my leave now,” Erick replied and promptly went to gather the books.
Levan then went on to report Kieran’s activities to Lord Austin.

Kieran had no idea how long he had been lost in thought. His daydream ended when he heard the ringing of a bell. He quickly got up and went to the gate.
“Young Master, it’s me—Erick,” the man called out.
“Did you bring what I asked for?” Kieran asked to confirm.
“Yes, Young Master. The books are ready.” Erick replied, as a wooden basket floated over the gate and gently descended beside Kieran.
“Have you received them, Young Master?” Erick asked.
“Yes, thank you. I’ll head back into the mansion now,” Kieran said as he looked at the stack of books.
“Certainly, Young Master. If you ever need anything, you can ring the bell. The button is near the gate,” Erick explained.
Kieran looked around and, just as Erick said, there was a button near the gate. Had Erick not pointed it out, he might have missed it.
“Got it,” Kieran replied.
“In that case, I’ll take my leave, Young Master.” Erick returned to the main mansion to continue his duties.
Kieran examined the wooden basket filled with books. It had a wheel underneath—convenient, so he wouldn’t have to carry it. He dragged the basket toward the mansion, opened the front door—it was surprisingly light for its large size. Just like Erick said, the mansion had been modified for him.
Inside, the mansion was grand, elegant, and filled with antique decor. Kieran walked over to a luxurious sofa, took out the books, and stacked them neatly on the table. Then he piled up the sofa cushions to use as a booster seat—otherwise the table would’ve been too high for a child.
He scanned the book titles. One in particular caught his attention: *The Great War of Tak Xe Ra.* Wait... *Tak Xe Ra*? That name sounded incredibly familiar. Had he read a novel with that name in his past life? He couldn’t recall clearly, but the name stirred something deep in his memory.
Without hesitation, Kieran opened the book. It detailed a massive war from 2,000 years ago, when humanity stood at the brink of extinction, invaded by an entity known only as the Nameless God. Kieran was stunned. Everything the book described perfectly matched the knowledge that had suddenly surfaced in his mind.
“I must have read a story exactly like this before… but that one had far more detail than this book does,” Kieran thought. He finally realized the truth—he had reincarnated *into* the world of a novel he once read, arriving 2,000 years after the main story ended.
The strange part was, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember the title of that novel—only the plot remained vivid in his mind.
He flipped to the section listing major figures in the war. Yes—almost all of them matched what he remembered, especially the name *Kai Morta.* Kai Morta was the protagonist of the story—leader of the Tak Xe Ra War, a hero who saved the world alongside his comrades. But this book only had sparse information about him—perhaps because so much time had passed.
After finishing that book, Kieran moved on to *The Founding of the Lysander Empire.* The Lysander Empire was established after the Tak Xe Ra War by its first emperor, Theo Walzier, who had been a great general in that war. “Lysander,” meaning “liberator,” was chosen to symbolize their freedom from the Nameless God.
With humanity nearly wiped out, Theo Walzier united the remaining survivors and created a strong government to prevent another great war. Traumatized by what they had endured, the people welcomed his leadership, and to this day, the Lysander Empire remained beloved by its citizens.
The current emperor was named Theodore Nox Lysander, and his empress was Elnara Alger Lysander. They had three children—two sons and a daughter.
Kieran had learned a lot. So much, in fact, that he dozed off on the sofa. Perhaps the stamina of a child really was limited—after only two books, he could no longer resist the pull of sleep.
