Prologue: The Singularity

There was nothing. Just a single point in time—the Singularity. No sound, no light. Nothing.

Any disruption could have shattered it. Think about it, is that what the world wanted?

But it was too late—the Great Divide began in the blink of an eye.

Above the void, a burst of light erupted. Clouds formed, shaping the sky and land. Mountains rose, streams carved through the terrain, and buildings materialized as if built by an invisible architect. The light overwhelmed the darkness... for a moment. Children's laughter echoed before the last cloud sealed the world, followed by a resounding, ominous thud.

  Thud. Thud. Thud.

  Then, silence. The light vanished.

Below the void, a chasm split open, dividing what had never truly existed. A red, smoky landmass emerged, its center collapsing into a massive sinkhole. A strange purple glow seeped from within. Similar to the previous realm, jagged peaks tore through the ground, rivers of fire replaced water, and pools of lava bubbled. Fog wrapped the land in an unseen barrier that resembled a dome. As the realm took shape, strange bat creatures emerged from the shadows and escaped into the sky.

No one was there to name them, but both became known as the Heavens and the Inferno, or Heaven and Hell.

The creator of these realms was a mystery. As civilization grew, whispers among the people suggested that an ancient power beyond the grasp of their understanding had birthed these two empires. Yet, no one could say who or what had crafted these realms.
