Chapter Fifteen—Breaking!

The glow of the holo-net pulsed and lit the dark room as some unseen figure stared at the projection as if he were a corpse, or perhaps a zombie.

Or just a brain dead citizen.

Maaaax and Staaax have done it again!

  IN ONE DAY!

The corpse, or the zombie—or just the brain dead citizen sitting there, shut off the LC News, putting to rest the vapid douche of an anchor by turning off his in-home, government-approved holo-net device.

I think it’s been somewhere around five weeks. Five weeks to write the first story arcs of Aevalin and The Age of Readventure (33,000 words), The Jinni and The Isekai (32,000 words) and Anarcho (12,000 words), which is a lot of writing in that time.

In total, that’s approximately 77,000 words. That’s not bad. I’d like to up that to about 90,000 now. I know that sounds like a ton of words, but it’s only 3,000 words a day. Still a lot, I know, but it’s considered level one pulp writer speed from back in the day when writers got paid for the word to submit novels to magazines. Novels back then were usually around 20,000-30,000 words in length, sometimes longer and released in parts.

Hold on, let me get some more coffee…

  All right, I’m back.

I’m writing this at 3:40 in the morning before I start work. Usually when I finish work, I either take a nap, or I get writing. If I take a nap, I usually get to writing after that.

Anyway, enough of that aside. I’ve said all that to say that I’ve written the first arc of three different story series in about five weeks. Unfortunately the first arc of Anarcho, titled Fracture Rating, has come to a close. But you won’t have to wait long for arc two! As I write this, I’m working on the second arc of Aevalin and I have just finished chapter one at 4,200 words, or about twelve pages.
