Days and Days ago, young Jason left

Within a week, he landed by

A lonely desert so sad and dry.          16

  Brushing past, tall cactus laughed

Wind held back no air would gasp

He stepped, on golden bits of grain

Hot sun rays scorched harsh and reigned

Upon the night he moved with sight

From stars, that smeared the sky in light

But just ahead, his eyes were caught

By two men tangled like strings and knots     24
