In Numbart's dreams.
Numbart remembered a scene from the past when his family had not faced the camity that the perverted prince of the Stel Kingdom would bring, when he was 8 years old.
“Son, I, your father Axel Soulstone, was once very strong hahaha…, your mother, the great Saya Veymar, fell in love with me at first sight for my bravery on the battlefield,” said Axel, who looked with a mischievous smile at Saya, who ter pulled my father's ear to respond.
“Hmmp… You sure had courage looking at other girls while others really helped on the battlefield,” Numbart's mother scolded, still with her hands on Axel's ear.
“Auuuch… Eh… Well Nul, what I mean is that, although we are farmers now, I had some talent for martial cultivation, just like your mother,” Axel continued.
“Therefore, do not be discouraged and trust in our training, one day it will bear fruit,” Axel finished saying, before moving away from the hand with which Saya tormented Axel.
The next moment, Numbart's father took out a kind of curious sphere that he had previously seen extracted from a Quasi-spiritual beast that he had killed.
Then, he sat cross-legged taking said sphere, and as the hours passed, the sphere that previously had a faint white color broke into pieces.
“What are you doing, dad?” Numbart asked, curious about the first time he saw this action.
“Son, I am extracting the soul energy of this Quasi-spiritual beast, this is done through connecting your soul with this sphere, circuting your energy, and in this way you can increase your cultivation,” Axel replied, with a gloomy face.
Numbart swore he could hear his father say, “It's not enough to break the seal,” Axel said quietly, through clenched teeth.
Back to reality in the vilge practice area.
Numbart opened his eyes the next day, when the day was dawning.
The air entered his lungs and he felt the smell of moss wet by the night breeze, as well as an unpleasant smell that made the very natural smell fade. It was a smell of iron and fresh meat, which was produced by the corpse of the beast lying near Numbart.
Then he wanted to stand up, but when he decided to move his body he realized that it was difficult for him to breathe and his chest was tight and in great pain. Likewise, he still felt the taste of iron that his blood had in his mouth.
With difficulty he was able to sit up, with all his muscles fighting to try to move, and his trembling body exuded fatigue everywhere.
Then he could see the full picture of his body, his shoulder was dislocated and possibly one of the bones in his arm was broken, he simply felt that staying awake was already difficult, he even wondered how he could have fallen asleep with so much pain in his body.
No doubt that injury had even overshadowed the cuts that he couldn't see on his back, but that he felt were anything but simple due to the burning and length they possibly had.
What will I do now in this state?
Thinking about his current condition, Numbart was able to remember the dream he had previously had.
That is. The Core of the Quasi-spiritual beast
Then, barely able to move, Numbart decided to go to the corpse of the beast that was a few meters away.
As he walked towards the beast, he also picked up along the way the knife that he had previously used to fight the beast, which luckily was still in decent condition, although bruised.
Then, Numbart extracted from inside the beast's chest a faint white sphere, which when he took it in his hand he could feel that it contained some type of energy still left over.
After taking it, he walked a few meters away from the beast and next to a small stream that was a few meters away, he sat analyzing the core he had in his hands.
Then he remembered the lessons he had had with his parents and the books he had read about it and repyed it in his mind.
The white sphere is the core of a wild beast that is half a step away from being considered a spiritual beast.
This is because the darker the color of the core, the stronger the power of the beast, and cultivators can be compared as follows.
Faint white in color, equivalent to a deep primary cultivator in the ter levels.
Bright white in color, it is already a spirit beast, which is equivalent to a cultivator in the holy soul realm.
Yellow color, equivalent to a cultivator in the spiritual avatar realm.
Light blue color, equivalent to a cultivator in the sacred avatar realm.
Orange in color, equivalent to a cultivator above the sacred avatar realm.
Spiritual beasts can be of various types, and are certainly not the only ones in the world, but are simply those that have been described in this town.
Numbart, remembering this, could not help but let out a breath of air through his mouth, since he still had a long way to go. Then he continued remembering the important part of cultivation.
To improve the cultivation of the soul of a martial cultivator through the use of soul cores from spiritual beasts, it must be clear that we are talking about the practice of one of the fundamental pilrs of the soul, which is the Eternal Ethereal Pilr, the one that allows the capacity of the soul of a martial cultivator to expand.
To practice this pilr using the beast cores, you have to connect your soul through meditation, touching the beast core that also contains the residual energy of its soul.
However, this practice is limited depending on the cultivation that the spirit beast has had, since the cultivator will suffer the damage that the beast has received at the time of its death, to his own soul.
Beyond this precaution, it is considered one of the most common and efficient elements to improve cultivation.
Remembering everything necessary to be able to improve his soul, Numbart decided to embark on this process, entering a state of cultivation with his legs crossed, touching the faint white core with his only functional hand.
I will take the risk that is necessary, thought Numbart, who knew that taking damage from a faint white core beast in his body from a spiritual primary path cultivator would not be an easy task.
What Numbart didn't know was that if his parents or other people were seeing him practicing cultivation increase with this difference in cultivation between the beast and the cultivator, they would probably fall on their backs from fear.
Numbart the next moment circuted his soul energy through his hands, feeling in every pore of his body. This energy found its source within its chest, where its inner space was clearly located, and from this interior Numbart could clearly feel its energy going into the core of the beast.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Numbart swore that he had been able to hear the wolf leader, so he felt a chill in his own soul, and then he felt the impact on his soul of the damage that he himself had done to the beast, but in his soul.
Then his face began to turn purple, while the veins on his body became more and more visible. Likewise, he felt a burning sensation in his head, to the point of feeling that something was coming out of his nostrils, it was the blood that was leaking from the extreme effort he was making.
However, he continued to maintain concentration, so the damage only grew as he extracted the power from the core.
He then felt that his cultivation was clearly rising in levels, stagnating at level 10 of the primary spiritual path.
How can I make my way to the natural primary path? thought Numbart, who then remembered the theoretical lessons he had read previously.
On the primary spiritual path, cultivators begin to feel the energy of the soul in the body, in a phase that we could say very basic.
But in the natural primary path, cultivators are called that because they allow a small amount of the world's energy to be included within them, slightly increasing their storage amount.
Then, knowing clearly what he had to do, Numbart decided to expand his senses, since he had only focused on his soul and the residual energy of the beast's core.
Then he tried to sense the energy of the environment, so in Numbart's mind he could glimpse small specks of energy floating around him, so he tried to expand his soul to take one while using the beast core.
“I think I'm doing well,” said Numbart, who was increasingly concentrating on including the energy of the environment in his cultivation.
After spending hours doing the same process, Numbart felt his soul trembling uncontrolbly, it was a strange sensation simir to when someone wants to expel food from their mouth when they don't feel well, but this came from his own soul.
“I can't control it,” said Numabart, who had his teeth clenched and his body arched downwards, supporting himself with his only functional arm.
Then, he felt something break inside him, and his soul energy became visible before the flow covered his silhouette slightly.
The gold and blue energy that lightly covered his body gave off a refreshing sensation, so he felt that his wounds were slightly healing, particurly the cuts that he no longer felt were burning on his back.
“It's a success!” said Numbart.
Feeling renewed in his body, without his injuries and with a growing strength in his body, he knew exactly what was happening, but in the same way he projected his consciousness into himself and saw his spiritual space.
Now, we can say that a person's spiritual space is like a room that stores energy and other matters, like the golden lotus. So, currently that completely bck room had grass covering the floor, so for the first time I could see its real extension, which was not much rger than 10 square meters.
“I am a cultivator of the natural primary path, at level 4,” he stated upon knowing the state of his body.
Then he left his spiritual space outside, and began to analyze his body. He saw that most of his injuries had indeed recovered, except that he still had a dislocated shoulder and a probably broken bone in his arm.
Then he decided to put his shoulder in its pce, remembering his mother's lessons.
“Auuuch!” Numbart couldn't help but blurt out, putting his shoulder in pce.
Subsequently, Numbart decided to organize his things and recompose his state before leaving for the forest with more renewed energy, so he decided to wash his stinking body in the stream next to him.
But first he decided to make a bonfire next to the stream and wash his stinky clothes in water, and then leave them to dry on the bonfire.
After drying his clothes, he went to wash in the stream.
This stream was retively close to the Elvarith Forest, and it even flowed from within the forest into the practice area.
While Numbart was washing his body in the naked stream, he could not stop his jaw from dropping in amazement at what he saw coming out of the Elvareth forest through the same stream in which he was bathing.
From a kind of raft made in an extremely resistant way, with tree branches and vines as a structure, a girl of approximately 18 years old with bck hair, a dark complexion and a slender figure dressed in extremely simple clothes, appeared before an obviously surprised Numbart.
I can't believe someone else is here. Wait... She came out of the Elvareth forest
Numbart stood stunned in his pce, while after 5 minutes the raft with the girl arrived near Numbart, the girl and the boy looked into each other's eyes.
The girl was just as surprised as Numbart, and it was only when the girl looked further down Numbart's body that the boy couldn't stop his ears and complexion from turning tomato red.
He saw me naked, thought Numbart, who then jumped into the stream to cover his body in the cold waters.
Then, at that moment, he could see how the young woman stopped her journey on her raft, then left it on the side of the stream and stepped on the grass with her bare feet.
"Ehh. You're fine, boy... Well, sorry for seeing you in that condition," the young woman said indifferently.
Then, he ter looked to the side and could see Numbart's clothes, which were already dry next to the bonfire.
“Do you want me to hand you the clothes to cover you, boy?” the young woman mentioned with an indifferent complexion, pointing her finger at the clothes.
“Eh… Sure, I would really appreciate it… Hehehe… It's a little cold here,” Numbart responded, clearly nervous.
“Oh, from your body I could see that it was really extremely cold there,” the young woman stated, sketching a slight smile on her lips, clearly looking at Numbart's body.
Then he handed the clothes to Numbart
“Hehehe…, thanks girl, it was really cold here,” Numbart said, who clearly understood what the girl was referring to, while you could almost see the steam exuding from her body because of how hot her face was from shame.
Numbart caught his clothes and quickly, with half of his body in the water, began to put on his silk shirt, however he realized that the young woman was still staring at him.
"Ehhmm. Excuse me, but could you turn around and look the other way?" asked the nervous Numbart.
The young woman, who had not yet realized the situation she was in, responded.
"Ahh, of course. Now I'll turn around," said the young woman, who still seemed somewhat confused.
Then taking advantage of this, Numbart pced his complete clothes on the bank of the stream.
“I'm done… Ehh.. Thank you very much,” Numbart finished saying.
The girl turned around and looked at Numbart.
“My name is Aggi, I am the first daughter of the leader of the vilge Elvareth, it is a pleasure to meet you friend with temperature problems,” the young woman introduced herself, in a super natural way, as if this meeting were the most normal thing in the world.
Elvareth Vilge, is there a vilge called that? Numbart immediately asked himself.
“My name is Numbart, son of my father and mother, I am a farmer,” Numbart also introduced himself.
After introducing himself, Aggi immediately looked at the corpse of the beast that Numbart had killed, and knitting his eyebrows asked.
“Are you not a simple farmer, you are a martial cultivator?” Aggi asked, pointing his finger at the beast with a face that clearly seemed to question me and read all my secrets.
“Well, I really am a novice in cultivation,” Numbart answered with complete sincerity.
“To kill a beast with a faint white core, you must have years of experience as a cultivator, in my vilge only my father, my brother and I can fight these beasts,” stated the young woman who rolled her eyes at my statement.
She is really honest with her expressions.
Numbart couldn't help but find the attitude of the girl in front of him somewhat funny.
Numbart then proceeded to actually tell what stage of martial cultivation he was at, leaving the girl clearly surprised.
Likewise, Numbart told him what was happening in the vilge, as well as what his future goals were, particurly to enter the Elvareth forest and find the herb that would heal the souls of his parents and Ana.
This conversation flowed smoothly, since Aggi was an extremely sincere person, so Numbart was tempted to tell him everything.
It was then that the young woman put on a solemn and determined expression at the same time.
“You really have a gift Numbart, I think you could help us,” said the young woman.
Then he began to say what her objectives were.
“I traveled from my tribe, since the amulet that my ancestor established to repel the spiritual beasts of the forest has lost much of its power, and I need the soul power of a martial cultivator so that together with my father, my brother and I we can replenish the power of this tetragram amulet,” the young woman stated, looking very seriously at Numbart.
“I will be happy to help, as long as you can help me get the herb I need,” Numbart accepted the job, as long as he received some type of help, since his situation warranted it.
Since Numbart had told the girl what was happening in her vilge, the girl also knew that she had no choice, so she immediately agreed.
“Well, then let's set off back,” Numbart said, so the two of them set off on the journey to the Elvarith forest which was about a 15-minute walk from the area they were in.
However, shortly before reaching the forest, Numbart and Aggi simultaneously felt a chill on their backs, and a strong killing intent permeated the air around them, making even breathing a difficult task.
“Look who I finally found after searching everywhere,” said a hoarse voice coming from some bushes next to the road.
The voice transformed into a shadow, which subsequently stood between the entrance to the Elvareth forest and the boys.
It was a demi-human with an obvious fish-like face, but with human-like limbs, wearing the same lighter clothing that Numbart had previously seen.
“H-he….Gu-ardia.” Numbart, who had recognized the enemy he had previously let escape, said in a sepulchral voice.
