<[MAY-10]>
The night was supposed to be peaceful.
The orphanage children slept soundly in their rooms, wrapped in thin blankets. The nuns walked quietly through the halls, their soft whispers like a prayer in the darkness. The priest, too, sat in his study, reading sacred texts, hoping for a future where such tragedies never struck again.
But fate was cruel.
A deep, monstrous howl tore through the silence.
Then another.
And another.
The ground trembled. The wooden walls shook. A gust of foul wind crashed against the windows, rattling them like ghostly fingers scratching to get inside.
Then—
Boom!
The doors of the orphanage burst open, shattered by a monstrous force.
From the darkness outside, eyes—glowing, wild, and filled with hunger—pierced through the night.
Demonic Beasts.
They poured in, their twisted, grotesque forms slithering, crawling, and leaping across the broken entrance.
Their fangs glistened, their claws dripping with venom, their bodies covered in shadows that pulsed like living nightmares.
Screams erupted.
Children ran in terror, clutching onto each other. The nuns desperately tried to shield them, pushing the young ones behind them as they held whatever objects they could find—a broom, a chair, even a candle stand—to fend off the monstrous creatures.
The priest stepped forward, chanting a holy spell, his hands glowing with faint golden light. A barrier spread across the hall, pushing some of the beasts back, but there were too many.
They tore through the orphanage mercilessly, devouring anything in their path.
Krishna stood frozen at first, his mind drowning in chaos. His ears rang with the screams of the children. His heart pounded against his ribs.
Then—
His eyes landed on a nun, trapped under a fallen wooden beam, screaming in agony as a beast lunged toward her.
In that moment, time stopped.
Krishna’s mind flashed back—to Cilia.
He saw her, in that same helpless state. The way she had struggled in the river, reaching for help that never came. The way the piranhas had devoured her within moments, leaving nothing but a red stain in the water.
His body trembled.
His fists clenched.
Something inside him snapped.
A dark aura erupted from his body, thick, suffocating, and unnatural. The air around him distorted, bending unnaturally. His vision blurred. His mind blanked.
Then—
Slash!

The beast that had lunged at the nun was torn apart mid-air, its body exploding into blood and flesh.
Everyone turned to look.
Krishna stood there, his breathing heavy, his head lowered. From his back, something unnatural had emerged.
Three long, shadowy tails.
The priest’s eyes widened in horror. "No... it can't be..."
Alina, Cilia’s sister, a nun stepped back. “What is that?” she whispered.
The other nuns and children, however, only saw a miracle. Krishna had become their protector.
The demonic beasts charged at him.
But Krishna moved before they could even reach him.
He grabbed a beast by the throat, crushing it effortlessly before hurling it into the others. He dashed forward, his fists coated in dark energy, and slammed into another, sending it flying through the walls.
The Noble knights, who had arrived at the scene, watched in shock.
They had been sent to assist, but before they could even react, Krishna was slaughtering the beasts on his own.
Alina turned to the priest, her voice shaking. “Is this… what I think it is?”
The priest clenched his jaw. “Yes. The demon inside him… it has again awakened.”
She paled. “Then… are we safe this time?”
The priest did not answer.
Because he did not know.
If Krishna lost control, he would not only kill the beasts… but everything else as well.
The battle raged on. Krishna cut through every beast in his path. He was relentless, unstoppable. The once-helpless boy was now something terrifying—something beyond human.
But then—
A larger beast appeared.
The Demonic Beast Leader.
It stood at least ten feet tall, its body covered in thick, black scales. Its eyes burned with an eerie red glow, and its long, jagged claws dripped with a strange, corrosive liquid.
It roared, shaking the ground beneath them.
Krishna turned to face it.
The moment their eyes met, the beast charged.
Krishna charged too.
The impact of their clash sent a shockwave through the entire orphanage, shattering windows, splintering wood, and forcing everyone to the ground.
They exchanged blows, moving so fast that the knights and nuns could barely follow. Krishna’s fists, coated in dark energy, crashed against the beast’s armored body, cracking it with each hit.
The beast clawed at him, but his body healed instantly, the dark aura around him absorbing the damage.
But something was changing.
Krishna’s breathing became uneven. His movements grew more erratic.
His pupils started shifting—turning slitted, inhuman.
The priest saw this and immediately took action.
With a deep breath, he started chanting an ancient spell, his hands glowing with golden light. He had to be quick—before Krishna lost himself completely.
Krishna dodged the beast’s final attack and delivered the finishing blow—
A direct punch to the head.
The Demonic Beast Leader’s skull cracked, then shattered. Its body collapsed, lifeless.
Silence.
The battle was over.
But before Krishna could turn, before he could even realize what had happened—
A powerful spell activated.
The golden light from the priest’s hands surged forward, sealing Krishna’s demonic power back inside him.
His tails disappeared.
The dark aura vanished.
Krishna’s body collapsed to the ground.
Unconscious.
The priest let out a deep sigh of relief. No one had noticed what he had done.
To the others, it simply looked like Krishna had overexerted himself and fainted.
The nuns, the children, and the knights rushed to him, calling his name, cheering his victory.
But only two people knew the truth.
The priest.
And Alina.
She turned to him. “You sealed it, didn’t you?”
The priest nodded. “For now.”
Alina looked at Krishna’s unconscious body, her heart pounding. “But for how long?”
The priest did not answer.
Because he did not know.
