As Nico and Twig continued to work with Gaius in the backyard, Tao decided to check up to see how Lukas was doing. Yuril was busy still setting up his equipment when he heard a knock on his door.

  “Just my luck” thought Yuril.

  Yuril had to climb up into his mechanical longneck dinosaur suit, once the suit was closed tight he then allowed Tao to come in. The flying dinosaur was a bit confused to why there was so much hi-tech gear and computers lying around.

  “Um, Lukas, what’s all of this?” asked Tao.

  “It’s my, accounting, yes, even though I am retired, I need to keep up to date with the latest!” laughed Yuril.

  Tao then took another glance at “Lukas”.

  “Well, sir, it’s a requirement that all newcomers have an ice breaker event with the residents of the retirement” continued Tao, “rules are rules.”

  Yuril sighed, but then the gray alien felt somewhat relieved knowing that the pranking raptors could be close by. As Yuril followed Tao outside, Iradom was already there. Beside him was an older Triceratops-like dinosaur – Jennifer and a smaller longneck dinosaur – Ricky. There was a fourth, smaller raptor like dinosaur – Meg.

  “Oh, it’s so nice to see a newcomer here!” laughed Meg.

  Meg and Jennifer welcomed “Lukas” as part of the retirement herd. Iradom was the oldest, the allosaurus wanted to go first into the ice breaking event.

  “Now, all we do is besides saying our names we give a little insight on what we’ve done for a living” said Iradom, “for me, I use to be a famous movie star. But those days are over.”

  “I had a cookie business” added Jennifer.

  “I fought off some young raptors!” laughed Ricky.

  Yuril was a little intrigued with Ricky, he felt he could use someone like him after that statement.

  “Oh, I ran in a race, I ran in a race!” laughed Meg.

  “And just what did you do?” asked Ricky.

  “Well, for starters, I noticed one of my neighbors had a tough time dealing with some pesky pranking raptors” said Yuril.

  Yuril was careful not to mention himself, but make it appear that Lukas was an eyewitness to the pranks that Nico, Basil and Ispan pulled on Yuril. The older dinosaurs who were present knew it was about the three raptors.

  “Tell me, are you a neighbor of those raptors?” asked Meg.

  “Not exactly, I just sometimes swing by the neighborhood here and there when I was doing some tax work for a client” replied Yuril.

  That was smart of Yuril to cover his tracks, as Yuril kept on talking more – Ispan and Basil brought over some snacks.

  “Hey, here are some of those pranksters now, maybe they’d have seen you around before” said Jennifer.

  Basil and Ispan could see something was quite off with the longneck dinosaur that was with the others.

  “Tell me you troublemakers” said Ricky, “did you ever harass anyone? We got a witness that says you have.”

  Ispan and Basil gazed at Lukas with suspicion feeling something was off.

  “I don’t like this one bit” whispered Basil.

  “Just try to play along” replied Ispan.

  The raptors had to be careful around the supposed longneck dinosaur – they knew they had to expose who was operating it.
