Chapter- 7 (Killing The Invisible Enemy)

But if the enemy was that horrible kid who killed his other mates, then anything was possible.

That demon, that abomination, just thinking about Mark gave him chills to the bones.

He still remembers how Mark took the gun out of Roman's gun holder, as if he had done such a thing thousands of times. It was so effortless, and after that, the way he killed everyone, it made everyone disbelief.

There was only death wherever his bullets passed.

Now, he was 100% sure that this person was Mark; even if he wasn't, he had to die.

It was either him or others in this world. There was no other option. He simply couldn't take a risk.

That was the reason instead of going back to join the captain, he chose to hunt alone.

He was good at hunting and had already hunted eight humans, and this was going to be his ninth one.

Knowing that the arrow came from such a high height, his prey was hidden in the tree.

So all he did was to come out of his hiding, remaining in stealth, he let loose.

  BANG! BANG!! BANG!!! BANG!!!! BANG!!!!!

  BANG! BANG!! BANG!!! BANG!!!! BANG!!!!!

Like a loose cannon, he fired everywhere, not caring where the prey was. He had enough bullets. He had enough magazines in his belt to waste one magazine to find this horrible prey.

While Mark was shocked out of his mind, as he jumped from one branch to another to hide behind the tree.

As next, the bullets started hitting the very tree he was hiding in, riddling it from top to bottom.

Soon, all fifty bullets were done firing, as finally the silence descended, and the moment that happened, Mark jumped.

From the tree top, he jumped, not caring that the distance of more than ten meters was between him and the ground.

Not caring that his leg was wounded, already ruptured back from all the insane movements he had done previously to save himself.

He simply jumped, and the moment his feet fell to the ground, he ran towards his target.

Ignoring the shock, ignoring the pain, he was ruthless, as he rolled, put the arrow on the bow string, rolled the string sideways, and let the arrow loose.

John heard the woosh, the same terrible woosh he had heard before, but this time he was hidden behind the tree facing front.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

His eyes couldn't see the enemy, which means the enemy couldn't see him either, when suddenly he saw an arrow going towards the opposite location from his, when suddenly, midway, it curved.

Not understanding what had just happened, shocked, he looked at the arrow, which was now flying towards him, making him curse and jump to protect himself, but the moment he jumped, he found a shadow towering over him.

  Puchi!

  Kwahkkkk….

  Blood splattered….

In midair, Mark punctured John's left lung, and next he pulled his knife out and without giving any chance to the person he couldn't see, he started slashing him everywhere.

Stomach, chest, neck, face, until Mark heard the notification, he did not stop and kept slashing the invisible figure.

[Killer gift activated, permanently stealing 0.1 Intelligence stat.]

Gasping for air, Mark stopped and sat beside the dead body, as slowly he saw the invisible person becoming visible.

He recognized this person. John something was it? He was one of the police officers who took him to the District Court for the hearing, which means he was correct.

Here in this forest, there were other police officers too, and they would all be coming to look for him, to kill him.

Next, Mark took the gun out of John's hand and searched his body to find anything else.

On his belt, he found four more magazines, which made him sigh in relief as the moment he put all that in his space, John's body started burning, and knowing where he was going next after turning into meat, Mark simply turned around and started walking back towards the lake.

As the pain that had disappeared while his adrenaline was high during the hunt started to come back.

It was horrendous. His injuries were back to being open. His bleeding, which had stopped, had again continued.

While the itching just made him want to rub all of his wounds like crazy. This was madness, complete madness.

But somehow Mark controlled himself and reached his destination, as he again started picking up the stones.

He had already finished close to 300 stones, which he had previously picked and killed close to sixty fishes since he started, making his agility and vitality stats rise crazily high, as he made his status panel reappear to see how many stats he still needed to reach twenty points in each of them.

Looking at the stats, Mark was somewhat shocked and happy. His agility was only 0.9 points away from reaching a complete 20 stat point.

Why 20, you asked? Because he had this feeling as the more stats he got that the moment he would reach 20 points in any of the stats, something amazing would happen.

He had no idea what, but he just wanted to complete this mission of his and find out.

As next, he opened the map to look at the other red dots that were coming towards him.

From 12, the dots had decreased to 9. He killed one while the other two died in the hands of the monsters.

But what made him startle was the three circles which had now gotten close, so close that they were intervened with each other.

He had no idea whether they were fighting or doing what, as soon he saw them moving towards the lake, further away from where he was, though.

But seeing this only made Mark giddy with delight as he realized what was coming for these three morons.

He alone couldn't be the only victim of this terrible lake; others needed to taste its dreadfulness too.

Enjoying watching the map, Mark was done collecting enough stones as he made his way even further away from the three dots and chose another location to hunt the fishes.
