After around thirty minutes of meditation, along with some helpful guidance from Aqua about the imaging I should use, I was able to grasp my mana and stop the leaking from being so terrible.
"Not bad for a first timer, it will of course require a lot of practice to gain better control but for now, I think you've grasped the basics of grasping and controlling your mana!"
Aqua answered like a proud teacher giving a student a gold star. I found it endearing and let out a small smile. Warrick seemed to have misunderstood and looked at me with bloodlust in his eyes... I should explain to him that I take the sanctity of marriage seriously. Now that the giant step 1 was finished, I figured it was time for step 2, so I looked at Warrick and Aqua and I saw something unreal.
" ?"
Colors? They were all around the room. The colors were dancing all around the room and around the people in it. Speaking of the people, all guards and maids as well as Warrick and Aqua, they all had one stable color emitting from their bodies at different thicknesses and amounts, myself included as I looked down to see the white that was all around me before I was able to control my mana. Warrick was emitting small amounts of a transparent, blood red color constantly. Aqua had even smaller amounts leaking from herm it was a deep dark blue, like her hair and eyes. But it was so transparent that it was almost invisible. for every 1 emission Aqua would make, Warrick would leak 4.
" Strange..."
I mumbled to myself as I Looked at my own hands. I noticed that the thick fog was still emitting slowly from me. Only now, it was confined to being around my body like a raincoat. It seems that having supreme control of their mana makes smaller and smaller amount's leak out... Kind of like the last drop of water from a shut off faucet. Meanwhile I looked like the faucet was on full blast and surrounding me. It seems I have a long road to proper mana control. After calming down for a moment, I asked Aqua a question I thought of before being lost in observation.
" So how do I use magic? More specifically Holy Heal?"
They both looked at me with a quizzical look and Warrick answered me.
" For mana, we have no issue teaching you, but as for a Paladin's specific skills... We don't actually know. John, there hasn't been a paladin in over 500 years. The last Paladin called Robert the White didn't leave any texts on how to use his Skills either. Even if he did, I highly doubt the Humans would leave it lying about for our Spies to easily find anyways."
Warrick stated all this information in a matter-of-fact fashion almost looking sorry as he did. If I had to guess, he looked for something like what he just described quite tirelessly these last 3 months. As I was puzzled at what to do in order to move forward, Warrick started to speak in a confident manner.
" However, the Appraisal Orb will hold some form of an answer. The Appraisal Orbs gives hints for Skills. The Gods must have instituted such a feature for times such as these. The usual tradition, being that a person of the same or similar Job will teach a Youth who goes through the Appraisal Ritual when they turn 10 years of age. I was Taught by my Grandfather Darius, Aqua was taught by her Grandmother Ember."
"What are your Jobs exactly?"
I asked, genuinely curious about the subject. The guards and maids all looked quite serious as the words left my lips. Before any of them could say anything, Warrick had already brought his hand up and talked softly to all in the room.
" Now, now, everyone, he's been nothing but honest with us. We can answer some simple questions from time to time. Besides, it's not as if our enemies don't have a clue about My Wife and I's fighting abilities. I understand the Holy Mana may leave you a bit uneasy, but he's shown nothing but cooperation since he's arrived. It's our duty as the ones who brought him here to show sincerity in kind, as he has shown us."
Warrick spoke with warmth in his eyes while Aqua nodded along in total agreement with her husband's words. He then turns to me and began a new sentence.
"My Job is known as Demon King, it's an Exclusive Job to our Race and is only available after certain criteria are met. We can talk more about such matters after Sarah awakens, perhaps over some dinner? Oh, and before my current Job, I was born with the Magical Demon Warrior Class it's similar to the Human's Spell Blade Class. Meaning I could cast spells onto a weapon of my choice, usually a sword as I prefer them! Now then My Love, if you would!"
After adding his final thoughts on the explanation Aqua approached me. she looked excited, like a 1st grader getting their turn at show and tell.
" My Job is Known as Dark Empress! as My Husband had mentioned, after certain criteria are met, I was able to achieve it as my Job! Before then, my Job, like my Grandmother before me, was Black Demon Sage! It's a Class specific to Demons, in this case it's similar to the Spell Lord Job of Humans, which is the Highest Class a Black Mage can achieve!"
Aqua explained in a happy tone while smiling, also clenching her fist in front of herself as if recalling exhaustive hard work to reach her current point.
" And I suppose your current Jobs are both Higher Tiered versions of those Jobs to some degree?"
Both Warrick and Aqua smiled and gave me a thumbs up. Quite an energetic couple I thought. After absorbing the information, I saw Trish the maid holding onto the Appraisal Orb and asked her for the Orb. After receiving it along with a glare from Trish, I booted the Orb back up and decided to do a little studying.

I decide to first look at Paladin. The window responded by opening a smaller window with a description of the class. It read as followed.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Paladin
The Paladin. A Human Warrior chosen by one of the Gods after examining the person and their nature and determining that they are worthy of their Favor. Because of this, in ancient times, Paladins were known as "Those favored by The Gods". Capable of the highly sought after Holy Magic which offers highly destructive offensive magic, with absolute defensive spells and high-level support spells. Because of these attributes, Holy Magic is seen as the pinnacle of White Magic. The Paladin exists as a different side to 2 coins. One coin being the Hero Job class. While the Paladins exist as a Shield of Humanity, the Hero Class exists as the Sword of Humanity, and the other being ******* "System files missing, please report to higher tier manager.

What a headache this is, maybe something like this had happened before? So I asked Warrick and Aqua to confirm my thought, they both said no... So it seems that it might be something exclusive to the Paladin's description... This worries me. But there doesn't seem to be any tech support I could talk to, so I moved on to the rest as best I could. With that headache pushed back as a problem for future John, I looked at Holy Magic to see if anything unique showed up. To my surprise, something did show up.

Guess that tells me a few things about what to expect out of this magic system. And it tells me that I need to look at a few Skills' textboxes. Next is Paladins Recovery. I opened the textbox.

I wonder what this means for my ability to sleep? Maybe this Skill is also responsible for my Mana being so hard to control? Questions for later, I guess? Now for Holy Swordsmanship which honestly, sounds kind of cool to me.

Since the Job Skills have been explained I'll run through the simplest Skills first. And I guess I should be calling the Magic "Spells" now as well. Cross Slash is a basic sword strike where you attack twice in different formations. The Skill makes the slashes easier to pull off apparently. I asked Warrick about it and he said that pretty much every Job that uses a bladed weapon has some variation of it as a Beginning Skill. Shield Bash is as it says, a Skill to bash an opponent with your shield. Definitely useful, especially considering Paladins are usually slow but strong if I remember right. Barrier is exactly what you think it is. A Barrier Magic from the White Magic Spell Tree. Language Comprehension is a Skill that all Otherworlders gain upon arriving at this world. The Orb's text says it and I confirmed it with Warrick and Aqua. Now for the juicy stuff, Holy Mana Sword is a Holy Magic Skill that imbues Holy Mana into a Sword so you can use Holy Swordsmanship. I asked Aqua and she said since I can already control my mana from leaking, imbuing it into a sword will be child's play. Also using Holy Swordsmanship will most likely be great practice to help strengthen my mana and my mana control. White Slash is the basic Skill in the Holy Swordsmanship System. it seems to be a flying slash attack of condensed holy mana, seems to be useful against fast or flying enemies. Now for the big one, Holy Heal.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Holy Heal
The First Healing spell available from Holy Magic. While providing a moderate amount of healing, the true strength of this Skill lies in its effect to cure status ailments. Even the deadliest of Curses are mere child's play at the feet of this Great Spell!
To use this Spell, simply say Holy Heal while channeling your mana with the intent to heal. After you feel the mana's neutral state change to a healing sensation, direct it to your target.

After reading the textbox I smiled, because for the first time since arriving here, I finally have a firm grasp on what to do.
