. We are all in conversation but I don’t quite care at the momment as I think over what the reports have said over the past week. The reports are not good but it’s to be expected all things considering. The new dungeon is something rather interesting despite everything the others are saying. It is protected by the adventurers of the town and they have followed through with using the old laws and agreements to add defenses. It’s a good thing we sent a more reasonable leader of that sanction squad there instead of a more hotheaded one. They have their place but with the strength of the adventurers in that area it was for the best they left when they did.
What’s more concerning for me is the large scale mana pulses that came about not long after they left the dungeon. If we try to refute the agreement then there are ways that we could prove it too young for the protections. Yet if those pulses are accurate and mean what I think it means then that could mean disproving what they say will be harder. It doesn’t help that the fractured scales are what the agreements where sworn under, any other gods and it would be easy to refute them as heritical agreements. I let a deep sigh breach my lips and the others look at me, the arguments around the table stopped as I finally am heard.

“What is it?” One of them asks.
“We are backed into a corner here.” I sit up and look at the papers. “if we want to deal with this dungeon to try and keep….It….under control, then we need to find away around the agreement.” there was a slow pause and I look between them all. Finally one of them speaks up and says something in hushed tones.
“S-should we maybe….call upon the them?”
there is silence as no one wants to contemplate this. But I also feel a small amount of annoyance as I nod. “We call in them”
