ANNOUNCEMENT: Important Schedule Changes Coming Soon

  Hey all,

I'm writing this up as a chapter of its own instead of just an author note, as I wanted to make sure as many folks saw it as possible. Now that we're working our way into book 2, I'm all out of content that was previously prepped. That means I'm often writing these chapters a few days before they go live, and thus working to edit and clear up any issues with them as soon as possible. Now, obviously I'm not going to catch everything, no matter how many times I edit, but I want to ensure I continue to offer good quality, while also giving myself time to fully explore the story as we go. I have a rough outline of where things are going as far as major plot points, but I do pants a lot in between, so having extra time to clean things up helps.

That said, I'm going to be moving to a 3x a week schedule very soon, starting the week of February 9. New chapter posting days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That will give me lots of time in between to make sure everything is up to snuff and iron out any issues that pop up with beta readers. It will also let me build up the backlog, which has dwindled significantly since launch because of life and work taking up a lot of my extra time.

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

I'm also working on editing Book One to prepare it for an eventual Kindle release, and I imagine it will change up a bit during that process as I iron out some issues that made it through to Royal Road.

All that said, I want to thank every one of you that has read the story up to this point. I'm really excited to be sharing it with the world, and while I'm sure there are quirks, I feel like overall I've done a solid job with it, and I'm really proud of how far it has come in such a short time. I'm also working on some other projects (if I want to possibly do this as more than a hobby in the future, then I need to have multiple projects going at a time). This also helps me keep from burning out on one project, especially since I'm not really taking a lot of breaks on writing at the moment..

Thanks so much for understanding -- and again for your support. I'll see you in the next chapter.
