Chapter 49 – “Draw Me, Ok?”

Scene: Uzumaki Household – Himawari’s Room – Evening

Himawari sat by her window, gazing at the sky. Yuta entered quietly and noticed her thoughtful expression.

Yuta: “What’s going on, kiddo? You seem… deep in thought.”

Himawari (turning to him, shyly): “Am I… pretty?”

Yuta (smiling gently): “Sure you are. You’re the most beautiful girl I can see.”

Himawari (tilting her head): “Do you think… I can be mature… like you?”

Yuta paused, remembering all his past tears, struggles, and lessons learned. He knelt beside her.

Yuta: “Stay a kid, kiddo. But… if you’re trying to grow up for someone else… you might get older faster than you think.”

  Himawari nodded thoughtfully.

  Scene: Park – Later

Aira suddenly teleported and sat beside Himawari.

Himawari (startled): “Oh! You scared me!”

Aira (smiling): “Fear not, little one. You wrestle with the struggles of being a young maiden.”

Himawari (pleading): “Can… can you help me?”

Aira: “Helping you… means helping my Sylus. And that, I shall do.”

Himawari spotted Inojin sketching quietly. She walked over with curiosity.

  Himawari: “Do you… draw well?”

  Inojin (blushing slightly): “Uh… hmmm… I think so…”

Himawari (smiling brightly): “Then… draw me, ok?”

Inojin’s eyes widened. He studied her carefully—the sparkle of her eyes like Naruto-sama’s, the soft warmth of her hair reminiscent of Hinata-sama.

Inojin (thinking): “No way… someone like her… and I’m drawing her? God… am I getting in trouble?”

He focused intently and handed her the finished sketch.

Himawari (hugging him, ecstatic): “You made it so good! I love it!”

Inojin (blushing hard, thinking): “Someone praised my drawing… I’m on cloud nine. I just… want to make her smile more.”

Time passes. Himawari and Inojin spend days drawing together, laughing, learning, and enjoying the simple moments.

  Scene: Training Ground – Day

Shikadai ran up to Inojin, loud and dramatic.

Shikadai: “BROOO! ARE YOU MADDD?! RYOUTA HAS EYES ON HER! YOU’RE LITERALLY GONNA COMPETE SASUKE 2.0 FOR HIMAWARI! YOU KNOW HOW SASUKE-SAMA IS POSSESSIVE OF SAKURA-SAMA!”

Inojin (defensive, flustered): “She… praised my drawing. I can’t just ignore it!”

Chocho (giggling, walking away): “Hehehe… juicy gossip!”

  Scene: Park – Later

Ryouta spotted Inojin sketching Himawari. He walked over casually, sitting beside her and angling himself closer.

Ryouta (smirking, teasing): “Draw me too, Inojin.”

Inojin (still flustered, cheeks red): “…O-Okay…”

Himawari watched, quietly amused. She realized what she had started—little sparks of admiration and teasing, innocent yet growing.

Himawari (thinking): “I just… wanted to be drawn. But… maybe I made them both think more than I intended.”

Ryouta’s eyes flicked to her with protective warmth, while Inojin’s focus shifted between her and his art. The afternoon sun cast long shadows, marking a day of laughter, connection, and the innocent complexities of growing up.

  Scene: Evening – Uzumaki Household

Himawari returned home, smiling softly. She leaned against Yuta.

  Himawari: “Yuta… I think… I’m happy today.”

Yuta (smiling, wrapping an arm around her): “Good. Keep being yourself, kiddo. That’s all you need to be.”

The stars emerged outside, quiet witnesses to small joys, friendship, and the gentle stirrings of young hearts.
