Chapter 62

  Chapter 62

Sha're had seen yet another vision, and it was not what anyone had expected. Her husband, Daniel Jackson, had appeared to her in a dream giving her a stark warning about things to come.

"Your majesty, all crews are set and ready to depart at your command. We have teams of Peace Keeper Elves and Sabines standing by per your request," said Natalie Portman.

"Excellent, thank you Natalie. Be on the lookout while we are gone. Don't hesitate to launch reserve ships and fighters at any sign of Goa'uld activity in this area… and above all else. Protect Earth."

"By your command your majesty; protecting Alfheim, as well as Earth, are both a part of my purpose," said Natalie eager to satisfy the wishes of her king.

Only a few minutes had passed since O'thalla had warned Alfheim of the impending Goa'uld attack on Adara II; it had been only a few minutes and the elves of Alfheim, armed with their mighty ships and weapons, had mobilized their forces to defend it!

"Weapons and shields are nominal," stated Reva.

"Sublight and hyperdrive engines are a go!" confirmed Michael Jackson.

As the crew of the Samantha Carter prepared to embark on what could be their first true battle against the Goa'uld, Amos and his crew got ready for the arduous task ahead.

"Your majesty, we're being hailed,"said the attentive Michael Jackson.

  "On screen,"said Amos.

On the viewing screen of the Samantha was none other than Warrick on board the Sebrus.

"Hello Amos, this is Warrick,"said the captain of the resurrected ship.

"Hey Warrick, how is everything over there on the Sebrus?"wondered Amos.

"Everything is fine. With the help of the elves I was able to add Commonwealth weaponry, ablative armor and asgard designed shields as secondary shielding for the Sebrus. Not only that, the zero point module that lady Reva used to fix our engines gave my ship a radical jump in power,"said Warrick as he went over his ship's new specs.

"That's great Warrick, anything else you want to fill me in on,"asked Amos.

"Yes, your elves tell me that you have the ability to duplicate ships quickly. My crew was wondering if we could split up with each of us flying a Sebrus class vessel into the upcoming battle."

Reva, who was sitting beside Michael Jackson at the con, turned to Amos and said, "Baby, this could work in our favor. There are eight crew members on the Sebrus. If each crew member piloted their own ship, that boosts our odds of survival by 88%."

Amos pondered Reva's words then turned back to Warrick and said, "Sure. Go ahead and print multiple ships. Just make sure you have teams of elves onboard in case of emergencies."

"Copy that Amos; see you on the other side,"said Warrick before ending the feed.

Freya, who was in the infirmary with a crew of Sabines, contacted Amos on the bridge and said,

"Amos, my love, there's something I forgot to tell you".

Amos, who was busy going over the navigational data for their trip to Adara II, opened a channel to Freya from his Command Chair and said, "What is it bae, what do you need to tell me?"

"Natalie and I were successful in creating the digital environment we can use to create elves. We call it Yddrisil," she said, her finger glued to the infirmary's intercom.

"Really! That's great Freya, but how exactly does that help us now?" inquired Amos, his curiosity piqued.

"It helps us because not only did we successfully create the digital environment, we also figured out a way to add Yddrisil to our ships and kinos,"said Freya, her voice teaming with elven brilliance. "If we ever need elven support in the future, all we have to do is tell the computer or print a disk and kino, and whichever corresponding elf we need will be brought out of Yddrisil" said Freya.

"Wait, so even the kino's can print elves too?" said Amos.

"Yes, my love, your kinos can print my kind as well," informed Freya. All you have to do is think about whichever elf, or type of elf, you need and a disk will manifest holding their molecular blueprint. This will allow you to print the elves you want using the matter converters on your kinos and Yddrisil will transfer their consciousness to the new host. Also, if any of us or our elves die, our consciousness will automatically be sent to Yddrisil through a subspace link on our nanites. There we will be able to print another elven body and resume our lives."

Wow, Freya was thorough; not only did she and Natalie Portman invent the next generation of pocket pussy, but they also invented an actual afterlife as well. White Jesus would be pleased.

"Great job, Freya! You and Natalie deserve a reward," glorified Amos.

It had been thirty minutes since Penegal asked Amos to assist the Supreme Commander in protecting Adara II and now Amos along with a fleet of five Samantha class vessels, eight Sebrus class vessels, five Lantean Warships, five Lantean Cruisers, and five Lantean Carriers were lifting off from the hangars of Alfheim and were on their way into the uncertain battle that lie ahead.

Meanwhile in an underground bunker in Cheyenne Mountain, a large mountain situated on the planet Earth, Chief Master sergeant Walter Harriman, most commonly known by his friends and colleagues as 'Walter', was getting some pretty unusual readings on his computer screen.

  "General Hammond,"summoned Walter.

Walking up to speak to Walter was none other than General George Hammond, leader of Stargate Command.

"What is it Walter," said the General.

"I'm picking up several strange subspace readings, coming from the planet — Mars. It's the same phenomena we see whenever ships enter hyperspace."

General Hammond looked at the data flooding Walter's monitor.

"Is there anything else that you want me to do?" asked the Master Sergeant.

"Son, right now there isn't anything that we can do. Currently, SG-1 is busy getting ready for a funeral and without the Tokra giving us a ride, we have no other way of getting over there. Just keep monitoring the situation and let me know if any Martians try to invade Earth," said the wise General with a hint of sarcastic humor in his voice.

"Yes Sir. I'm sure it's nothing," said Walter as his computer monitor faded back to black.
