  "This game is supposed to be played with teamwork, not solo that's why we added varieties of roles. Oh I know something that makes him team up with others"

  Not even a second going out of the Capital, people started to try to kill me. I can't even play the game peacefully. Most of them are just chasing for fame.

  I don't know what the hell is happening right now but even tho my place in the global rankings had dropped, they are still targeting me.

  I also heard other players are hunting the other 100 lucky players who got the OP times hoping they get the drop.

  One player anounced there is a chance that when another player defeated another player, they can drop an equipment in their inventory instead of just materials and exp but in low chance.

  So that means, Kilowatt killing me hit that low chance getting the Golem's Protection. That is unfortunate of me. This game has the most chaotic start I had ever seen.

  "Mhmghmmm" the girl with eyeglasses on my bed groaned and rubbed his face and looked at me "Darling, what time is it"

  I looked around the room, the other 2 girls are still quiet asleep.

  "You are talking to me?" I asked, pointing at my self

  She nodded. I lift my phone up to near my keyboard and looked at the time.

  "It's 10:27. Okay what the hell don't call me darling"

  "It's 2 hours and you are still playing there. Won't you have a rest?"

  "I'm used to it"

  She made herself comfortable on the bed "Well, don't mind us sleep on your bed. And by the way, the sheet smells good"

  "You sounded like more of a creep than a guy"

  I stared at the forest in front of me, my path on going to get materials to upgrade my Battle Ogre's Sword.

  I looked around, left and right, behind me, no player's on sight. I took a step forward out of the safe zone of Capital Walles.

  "I got you Mighty!"

  An assasin went visible in front of me, his name is GenovivA. Not the one who took my legendary item.

  I was about to parry it but suddenly, a knight charged at the player, pushing him.

  "Die you PKer!"

  "Wh-what!? Where the hell did you came from!?" The assassin shouted

  He bashed his shield on the assassin, giving a debuff stun. His sword started emitting aura and attack the player.

  His attack speed grew faster, his damage and critical went up killing the assasin instantly, dropping potions, materials and currency.

  "Phew, that's one of them killed"

  I looked at the Knight's name, PKerKillar.

  "Let me guess, you kill PKer's?" I said

  He nodded with a proud smile "Yep, that's what I always do in any RPG games"

  He looked at my name, his mouth dropped wide open in shock.

  "Y-you are Mighty!? The number 2 in global rank!?"

  I remained silent for a bit as he talked and looked at me with amusement.

  "W-well, not anymore"

  "I had seen you in the streams with your fight with Greatkiller, you are so awesome!" He looked at my equipment "Are those mythic items!?"

  "Naah, we could say it's a downgrade"

  "So where did those OP equipments went?"

  "I sold it" I lied

  "Sold it online?"

  "No, sold it for in-games currencies"

  "Those are mythic items! You should have earned a lot of money in real life!" He suddenly shouted in his mic

  "You know, if those items went to PKers, that will make your job harder"

  "Well, yeah I think you are right. Oh wait, why won't you join in our guild I made, the PKer Destroyers! We kill PKer's but not only that, we will of course help each other like a community in progressing or getting loots! So, wanna join in?"

  I sighed "Well, that's a great offer but I have to refuse"

  His expression changed to dissapointment "Ehhh? Why tho?"

  "Just no"

  "Just... Tell me the reason"

  "Long story short, a trauma of betrayal from my recent guild. So yeah, I want to go solo"

  "But of course we won't do that to you"

  "Sorry, I just already made a lot of promises to myself. So yeah, I can't"

  He finally sighed in defeat "Alright then. If you change your mind, you can ask permission to join our guild. See you later, I have a loot to get"

  PKerKillar finally went away. What a push-over, I don't like being forced on something that I don't like.

  Suddenly, I noticed something forming on my left. Somekind of a light blue colored portal.

  A message popped from above, a global announcement.

  'A one-time limited labyrinth portal rift has opened outside Capital Walles. Only 250 parties can enter.

  Party required: 1 any damage-dealer role and 1 any support role

  A valuable reward awaits'

  I stared at the portal. Completing one can give a high valuable rewards. This is a one-time limited event, that means the labyrinth portal will never ever happen again, even in the future. The reward would also be a one time, maybe it's a very important reward.

  I love collecting rare items even no matter how many days and even years it will stay in my inventory untouched, I will never ever sell it like something that makes me feel I have accomplished something so important in the world.

  But it requires 2 team players, then, I have to break an important promise of myself.

  I looked around the Capital Walles, looking for new spawners.

  I scratched the back of my head "I can't believe I am doing this. But maybe we can go apart after the rift. I have to search fast before 250 parties occupy the slots"

  I saw a player just standing, a girl avatar with a huge backpack on her. Her role is a cook, a support role. Instead of healing players, they will instead craft different kinds of foods and give buffs to player that ate it depending on the food.

  Any roles can craft foods, but mostly give minor buffs or just a failed craft.

  Her name is MatShika012, She is just a low level, but she will do.

  "Wow, this game is so lively! It just got released people are so hyped about it and it's getting popular all around the platforms. I might just give it a try but not for the story, but for the hype!"

  I approached the lonely girl who was muttering to her self, she doesn't even notice her mic is on. She noticed my presence and looked at me.

  "Woah, a level 26 player! Uhh, hello, Mighty, what do you-"

  I sent her a friend request "I want to team up with you. We don't have much time so accept it"

  She was flustered "E-e-eh!? But I am just level 2, why would you want me?"

  "I don't care what level you are, what I want is your role"

  "O-okay" She finally accepted my request.

  "Follow me, we are running out of time"

  "Where are we going?"

  I lead her outside the capital, the portal was overcrowded with players. The global chat went wild, finding a support to team up with. The portal was already filled with 243 parties.

  "Is that the portal rift from the announcement, we are going in there!?"

  "Yes, c'mon let's go in"

  We both entered inside the portal and was met with a loading screen. I took a drink of my water and looked at the girls.

  One on the couch is rubbing her eyes from her hung-over, groaning. Same as the two on my bed.

  Seriously, drinking at the top of the morning. Should have been at night.

  The game finally loaded. We were met by bright skyblue themed place. Narrow empty hallways, skyblue ice brick walls.

  Above the screen was a countdown. 20 minutes, 20 minutes to complete the Labyrinth. This might be a long one.

  I waited as she opened her inventory. Her eyes widened.

  "We came in without any ingredients! You should have think about that before pulling me in here!"

  I started dropping food ingredients on the ground "Here, cook any foods that you can"

  She looked all the ingredients on the ground "Woah, that's a lot! A level 16 special boar meat!? Too bad I can't cook that yet"

  She placed her crafted campfire on the ground and started cooking "Placing the campfire here means there's no monsters nearby"

  "Cook as many as you can. Going deeper, the labyrinth won't give us a safe zone from their numbers. Going back to cleared places will waste our time or surprise us"

  "Understood, cooking 25 roasted chicken and boar steak"

  5 minutes to cook all the food. Time is ticking down, 5 minutes looked like few but in this type of situation, it's big.

  My leg started shifting up and down anxiously as I watch the countdown above. Maybe I should level her up first in the labyrinth monsters before cooking.

  I noticed a notification on the top of the left screen, looked like a debuff. Gaining exp and leveling up won't apply the rift.

  Great, now what?

  I opened my inventory and looked around my potions.

  "I swear I got a cooking potion buff around here somewhere"

  I found one, I got 34 stacks of it. I dropped 5 for her.

  "Here, it will speed up your cooking time"

  She looked at me with disdain "Seriously, you had this all the time"

  She drank the potion, the cooking timer multiplied, cooking them all instantly.

  "Ally Feed"

  She used a skill, feeding me automatically. She can gave it to me but a cook feeding everyone give a small bonus. A slight increase effect and duration. It may be small but that small thing can still help.

  "Okay, let's go"

  She picked the campfire back up and started walking through the hallways. On the corner is an enemy skeleton, a long sword on it's hand. By the looks, it looked strong and tanky. Frost Skeleton, level 27.

  Without hesitation, I attacked it with breaking elbow. I only reduced 1/4 of it's health, just as I had expected. It swung it's sword, I dodged backwards and gave it a Piercing Strike. It's health drained below half of it's health.

  I continued attacking with basic attacks while it's on attacking cool down, killing it. It didn't drop any, not a single thing. Just also as I expected.

  Matshika clapped her hands "Woah, you defeated it easily"

  I sighed "Sorry to say, but I am not strong enough"

  "Eh, what are you talking about? You defeated the skeleton with ease"

  "It's a bit tanky, if they crowd, it may be a problem"

  "250 parties had now entered the portal"

  "So, did Mighty entered the rift?"

  "Yes I have been monitoring him for a while, he is here fighting with a level 2 cook named Matshika"

  I peeked the next room a skeleton army crowded a room, archer skeletons, swordsman, and tanks. There's no next door, that means it is a dead end. But what is there, behind those crowd is a frost chest.

  "This isn't the right path, but the chest might worth getting due to it's protected by a large mob"

  "I think you got them Mighty, like how you did with the others!" Matshika said like she has very high hopes for me

  I shook my head "No, it's not easy. That recent skeletons we fought gave me a slow debuff after damaging me. If one landed a hit on me, it will be hard for me to escape dangerous situation. I need a skill that affects areas. Since this is a frost themed, their attacks might give me a freeze effect"

  I can use the sword of the ogre again since it has a lot of area of effect skills but it's too weak it might take a lot of time to defeat one.

  I started exchanging my skills again, I got the Kick Slam back again for it's area effect and stunning. Some new skills after leveling up, Fighter's Protection and Explosion Punch.

  A Fighter's Protection gives me a shield for 8 seconds, reducing 45% received damage and reduce 70% of received debuffs. The slow debuff they give is 1.3 seconds, but with this, I can move again normally just below a second. But the cool down is a ridiculous 20 seconds

  The Explosion Punch, it's like Fist Burst but instead of one, it affects all nearby the enemy I used it on like a large explosion konackbacking them away from me. It deals slighter higher damage.

  "Hey, buff me with the Resistant Cooked Fish"

  She gave me the buff, the buff reduces any debuff effects. With it with the Fighter's Protection, the slow debuff will just be 0.2 seconds but will never be 0.

  "Stay here, I am not sure what happens if a player die in this Labyrinth" I ordered

  "Got it!"

  I ran towards them, they detected me and activated their combat mode. I activated my Kick Slam, leaping above them and smashed the ground stunning everything in my skill's reach.

  "Fighter's Protection"

  A shield formed around me. I activated my Explosion Punch and connected it to a nearby enemy. It exploded, knockbacking every enemy in the area.

  They started to swarm all over me. I readied myself. With swift moves, I punched them as they came near. I didn't bother dodging or parrying their attacks, letting them damage me and give me slow debuff relying on Fighter's Protection skill and lifesteals.

  One by one, they fall to the ground and vanished, stunning them with my Kick Slam, and started dodging every attacks when my Fighter's Protection worned out.

  Then, the room was empty as if I cleaned a room full of ants.

  "You did it! You are lucky I livestream that so people can how cool you are"

  I looked at her with confusion "You are live streaming? Since when?"

  "While you were setting up your skills"

  People streaming my location would cause troubles, PKers would know where I am in the game. But I am in a Labyrinth, and parties that entered have separate arenas.

  "And what they are saying?"

  "Saying, like what?"

  "What you call chat, where people watching can chat in your stream to say something"

  "Oh, yeah yeah I see here. People are saying mad skills, it's Mighty, the number 2 who deserves the number 1, the strongest, a... Fraud? Wait are you popular!?"

  "Ignore them. They are talking nonsense"

  So where are we? I turned around to look at the frost chest. I went to it and opened it up. There are gold coins, random materials, and a legendary level 25 Frost Broadsword. It can inflict slow to enemies for 1.5 second, and a 60% to inflict freeze one enemies for 2 seconds. It has a 573 damage, yet movement and attack speed are decreased to 20.

  The Battle Ogre's Sword damage stack looks cool tho but won't keep up with this sword. I'll soon sell the Battle Ogre's Sword for real life money. Those wannabe speed runners might buy it.

  Time ticked by, getting lost, finding the right way, wasting our time on false paths and mobs of enemies. It's a pain not leveling up in a labyrinth event, but it is for the best.

  A big door finally revealed in front of us. The final door. Matshika's food stacks were barely used, but still was helpful on the way.

  "W-wait Mighty, we haven't encountered any boss on the way and we are at the end"

  "That means the boss is behind this door"

  "Then I will have to stack you up with buffs!"

  I looked at my buff stats, they are still high.

  "No need, the timer won't stack and just reset to it's starting timer. It might be brought to defeat the boss"

  "Well then, let's go and finish the dungeon"

  We both went to the door and interacted it, our screen faded into a black screen, a loading screen. The screen came back into life again, we are at an empty small box, the same frost skyblue themed walls, there is a door in front of us.

  "Congratulations for completeling the Labyrinth, please wait for remaining players to finish"
