Morning came so agonizingly slowly and not because of the fun reasons. Zeldi had made the excuse that she only had one bed so we needed to share and I was all for it...
Until I'd actually tried to go to sleep.
Zeldi had been nice and soft but the hay she had been using as a bed even with a thin bnket was the worst thing I had ever y on. It got to the point where I'd just gone to the couch because I couldn't sleep on the 'bed' no matter how much I tried.
The only downside was that the couch was to small for Zeldi's body so we had slept separately. As much as I didn't want to I needed some sleep and it only made me want to get a proper bed quicker.
This left me a little grumpy in the morning as the sun decided to dance in front of my eyelids with magnifying gsses just as I'd finally fell asleep.
So knowing that I was a little irritable and not wanting to do something I'd regret to my little mare I'd made an excuse that I had some farm chores to do and given the rags I wore yesterday a dunk in the bucket still left out and headed out to servay my nd. Zeldi had woken up still tired herself so she hadn't argued as I left.

So unlike my other quests that seemed more like freebies this was going to take some actual work. Not that it was a bad thing, I'll take the two freebie quest rewards any day but it did mean I wouldn't be growing quite as fast as I did yesterday.
Now that I think about it the quests yesterday felt a little bit like tutorial quests more than something I had to do. Like whatever system was controlling this was letting me know I needed livestock but also that I could sleep with them. Maybe I was overthinking this.
I abandoned those musings as the front gate came into view. It was just as bad as I was expecting.
The sign having long since toppled to the ground y in a pile of rotting wood only useful to insects or perhaps as firewood along with any posts that would have held a fence at one point. The fence itself must not have been made as wood itself as there wasn't enough on the ground though that wasn't helpful as whatever it had been made out of was long since gone.
Beyond the destroyed fencing y the white line I remembered from the night before, it's signal as the boundary of my property clear in my head. Zeldi had mentioned she couldn't leave but could I?
The thought was easily tested so with a shrug I stepped over the line feeling a weight that I hadn't realized I was holding vanish. This feeling wasn't unpleasant and it's absence actually made me feel unsafe. However a it was repced by a pull in my gut that pointed back to the farm.
Interesting. So I could leave but this feeling was trying to keep me here. At least there's that.
I stepped back into my nd and the absent feeling returned. I felt invincible though I knew better that to test that theory. One too many drinks with the boys and an idea founded on alcohol ment is learnt that lesson before.
I thought came to me and I winced slightly. If Tilty was a deed owner herself and she came here then I already knew I could leave. Oh well, I still learnt about this strange feeling.
Next on the to do list was the quest. So all I needed to do was move ninety nine pieces of rubble. Seems time consuming but not hard.
I started by trying to lift one of the destroyed fence posts but it crumbled in my hands before I could lift it off the ground. Seems I was right about them being only useful for bugs.
"Going to need a new pn." I mumbled to myself.
If I had a wheelbarrow I could lump them into that, thought I'd need a spade of some sort to get the pieces that are still buried. Unless they don't count.
I gave a second one an attempt but it broke apart just as the first had. This farm must have been neglected for ages, long before even Zeldi took over for everything to be disintegrating at my touch alone.
The third post I tried something different. Instead of lifting it up I touched it and mentally sent it to my inventory. Surprisingly it worked. The whole thing vanished and I checked my inventory to find it had in fact been pced there.

With the rotten wood I stepped over my boundary line and let it fall back to the ground before returning to my side. The hope was that now it wasn't on my property and this the quest would consider it 'cleaned up'.

Perfect. Now to make things easier on myself I made a quick trip back to the house to drop off everything but the partially filled milk bottles with a quick expnation to Zeldi as she was making another bowl of that weak porrage. She seemed surprised but promised not the eat the fruit just yet.
As thanks I gave her a kiss that may have involved a little grabbing which caused her to whimper. I couldn't help myself after that and had her top off before our lips parted.
"Master! Breakfast might burn." She cried out not at all trying to stop me and instead turned to pots fme off.
"This is my breakfast." I returned tching onto her teat. "Plus I need you to fill up a few more bottles so that I can buy us some stuff."
It sounded believable and she would probably need milking both morning and night so two birds one stone.
To make it even more believable I brought the almost full bottles out and pced them on the bench without letting go of my prize. The vanil cream filling my mouth almost immediately.
"Oh Master. Mmmmmmm. By the mother mare I wish I didn't need to fill these bottles. Mmmmmm. It feels so much better when you drink from my tits." Zeldi purred out taking one of the bottles and pcing it under the teat I wasn't sucking on.
I watched the stamina regeneration buff fsh across my minds eye and with it all of the fatigue from the night vanished. Should have thought about that sooner.
Zeldi switched out the now full bottle for another and cooed happily. "I know I apologized before for bringing you here but thank you. You have been exactly what I needed."
I released her teat as the second bottle filled and put both in my inventory to be sold. Now we were twenty points richer. Though I made sure to purchase four empty bottles before I went on a spending spree so sixteen points richer.
"You are more than welcome Zeldi. I never had much going for me at home so it feels good to be making a difference. Even if that difference is only for you." I said back giving her chest one st squeeze to try and fill the st bottle.
Zeldi's ears danced in happiness but she pushed me away now that she knew I was done. "Go you. I believe you still have farm chores to do."
"Kicking me out so quickly?" I mocked summoning all the empty bottles onto the bench so my inventory wasn't full. I was kinda leaving her a bunch of things to put away now that I think about it.
"Yes. Until you use the whole duration of my stamina buff you can't come back in. My womb cannot handle you if you did." She giggled back before giving my ass a sp. "Now go you. If you're lucky I won't be so sore for you around lunch time."
I ughed with her and put up a fake fight as she pushed me out the door. It felt very homely.
Now with an empty inventory I started picking up the destroyed fencing watching the quest tick up after every trip. I decided to dump it all in the same pce just outside the non functional gate. That way if I wanted to burn it all at once it would be easy.

That took care of the front gate. Now to take care of Zeldi's failed animal enclosure.
Unlike the front gate these weren't rotting, they were broken and not accidentally. I could have made an argument that a few of them were broken by wolves but some of them had the distinct look that said an axe had been involved.
"Bloody hell. Every time I look at something it somehow gets worse." I grumbled to myself.
It didn't matter now. I just needed to finish all of this so I could improve everything. Hopefully this trespassing reward would do what I think it does and stop people from entering the property. That would be a giant F you to Tilty. Maybe I should make it that only livestock could enter? See if she actually gives up.
Taking a few of the posts I sorted them into different tiers. The most damaged joined the rotting ones by the gate while the more usable ones I kept. Didn't know what I would use them for but it was better to have and not need than need and not have. Same as a condom.
I snickered. Not that I used one st night. Hopefully Zeldi was correct about it not being her fertile period, not because I didn't want kids. I just wanted them to have a decent chance at life and a run down farm is a horrible starting point.
With most of the destroyed logs gone I picked up ten of the goodish ones with my inventory and made my way to the barn. While destroyed it was still usable and chances were I'd be using the wood to patch it up anyway so it made sense to store it all there. Fingers crossed the system agreed.
As I made my towards the building I could make out a faint scratching like cws were being dragged over the wooden floorboards coming from inside.
What the hell?
