Kathleen in this Arc might be a stubborn brat who refuses to change her bonking ways, but she’s leveling up and surviving regardless of her choice. Thriving? The Plus Menu says so, but ignoring glaring flaws like 110 Wisdom will inevitably bite her in the ass.
I am always looking for feedback like normal, as this is my first “serious” project. Let me know what you think about these last 10 chapters! Perhaps, her lack of Wisdom is too grating? Hehe. Things will only get more intense for Kathleen from here on out and her current build will be challenged. I know someone keeps dangling participles in my book and makes boneheaded writing mistakes, but as the author who barely passed highschool, it’s definitely not me. I swear.
Updates will keep rolling as usual! Thank you all for journeying with Kathleen!

Chapter 21: Kathleen decides to heal the knight and harvest healing XP off of her. On the other hand, the knight, Giselle Flametongue, decides to harvest annoyance points off of Kathleen.
Chapter 22: Kathleen discovered Rifts can be different sizes! She gets politely invited into one via body slam.
Chapter 25: After she slayed the Rift boss by using a famed technique called Minotaur Horn acupuncture and getting some shiny goodies from it, the strangest one Kathleen acquired was the Oblivion Staff, forged from a strange interaction between Dungeon Core and Emily Ravenclast’s oath (and dead body). She uses a lot of points to increase her Magical Power after experiencing a mana draining attack, but unfortunately, it was completely ineffective.
Chapter 26: Kathleen proceeds to deny Wisdom. She’s too angry to admit her flaws, of course. She also finds out that the reason increasing her mana pool didn’t work was because the Core’s attack was also a Soul Attack, which potentially is the Inner Realm existing inside of her somewhere.
Chapter 27: Kathleen confirms at the moment that her spells do not work on humans of her current reality on some healthy and definitely willing test subjects. It is unknown why her spells don’t work on them, however, she expected it. What she doesn’t expect is when she discovers certain butterflies are capable of transporting people to completely different locations against their will.
Chapter 28: Acquired the Hunter’s Workbench and learns about Integration Points, a new mechanic granted to her by a giant brain, whose tentacles wrap her in a big hug. She also decides that Wisdom is more important to upgrade than she thought, and now that her core stats are decent, she’ll think about it. Integration Points tend to be granted when she sees certain things and allow her to unlock various options in her Plus Menu.
Chapter 29: She crafted the Promised Sister using Leah’s skull as a Tier 1 catalyst, a brain stem and a rock. The two staves make a good match!
Chapter 30: She discovered elves are a thing in this reality. Doesn’t like them.

— Kathleen’s Ascension as of Chapter 30 —
———————————————
Alright, let's talk very briefly about numbers and Plus Menu mechanics listed so far. Specifically, the Attribute Letter Ranks. Kathleen has discovered the exact amount of points needed for the first couple of letters. Here they are:
Rank F is 0 - 499 status points
Rank E is 500 - 1499 status points
Rank D is 1500 - ?? status points
Ranking up a letter gives her an increase in what the Plus Menu defines as attribute coefficients. Only a smidgen. Kathleen doesn't know what those coefficients are, but she understands that the higher number, the harder she can bonk things and the number tiers of spells she can cast increases. The other interesting things noted in Key Attributes are 1) Movement Speed adds more than just simply walking faster, 2) Magical Power ranks adding new powerful spells in different tiers and 3) She should really do something about Wisdom.
