As Touma ran towards the town, he noticed that the majority of the monsters in that area were low-leved foxes and rabbits. this seemed rather strange, but he decided not to worry about it at the moment.

  When he reached the first town, Touma decided it must be a smaller town. There were only around 40 buildings, including the business's buildings. After looking around for a moment, Touma entered the saloon to get a drink. As he entered he heard someone talking.

  "I heard Dragon is on the move again."

  "That damn guy! He has been too full of himself ever since he beat the Ogre's army."

  "Yeah, and I was one of the ones there that helped. He only fought about 5. The rest of us had to kill the other 20."

  "Damn, what happend to the rest of the army?"

  "No one knows. They say an unknown adventurer killed most of them before we got there. There were signs of fighting farther up and several dead ogres, but no one knows for fact what happend to them."

  Suddenly a barkeeper said, "Hey, you gonna order or what?"

  Touma started. "Oh yeah, one beer please."

  "Comin' right up."

  By the time the barkeeper stopped talking the two men had finished and left. Touma made a mental note to find out more about this Dragon, but for now he was more interested in finding out where he could become an official adventurer.

  A moment later the barkeeper returned with his beer.

  "Where can I register to become an adventurer?" Touma asked.

  "Try the city of Madan. They have a guild there." Was the answer.

  "Thanks." Touma had been hopeing for a better answer, but with his map function it wouldn't be too hard to find the city.

  Touma quickly finished up, paid and left.

  "Map" He said.

  A screen appeared, showing his position. He could see some red dots, but they were just the rabbits and foxes he had seen earlier. Finally after a few secconds of searching he found Madan. It wasn't much bigger, but it had a populaition of around 800, plus adventurers. It would take him about three hours if he ran, but Touma decided to walk. It would take longer, but it would give him time to test some skills. His fist priority was to check if his equipment was the same.

  His level and stats were the same. His stats had been above average because he had done every quest that increased his stats. Charisma was still low, but then, he had never been one to take the front, he always destroyed form the shadows. He never had a job, so no change there. Class unknown? That was new. He had been an Assassin, a hidden class, but he had found that by increasing certain stats, he could use any weapon or skill.

  That reminded Touma to check his skills. He scrolled through hundreds of skills, just checking for the important ones. They were all there, so he closed the skill window.

  Last, but not least, was his equipment. Touma opend his equipment window.

  Cloak of the Abyss

  This cloak is made from Black Cloth. A cloak crafted in the shadows. Made by a dwarf from the Abyss, while being comfortable, this cloak is as strong as armour. Being in the shadows all his life, the crafter modeled this cloak after the darkness that covered his home.

  Requirements: User over level 200. Class must be assasin.

  Allows user to blend in with shadows, should they be present, as long as ther user has enough MP.

  Swift Boots of the Abyss

  Made for speed, these boots have a high boost in speed. With the engraving on the side, more boosts are sure to come your way!

  Special Effect:

  The carved wings allow the user to perform double jumps, as well as run on air for short periods of time. Time is added if the user knows 'fly'.

  Crafted by the best blacksmith in the abyss, This sword can be used to cleave light itself. With no equal, this sword can destroy whole continents, but its power is only as good as the one who welds it.

  The power of light will be with the user. Light is his to command, but only for as long as God allows.

  Touma checked his other gear everything else was the same, but these 'special effects' confused him. There had never been special effects in the game. Not to mention that these were almost too OP, but what did it mean when it said 'the light is his to command "as long as God allows"' Touma wondered. Well these questions would have to be answered another day, because it was almost dark.

  Touma headed for a nearby forest. He woud camp there. He knew he had some blankets somewhere...
