"Ugh! This sucks. Not to mention the people that enter are all like, 'Ahh! i'm dead! Whoa is me!' It's so annoying. Why do I have to with it every day!" I moaned as I stood at the gate to the Necroplis.
"Oh be quiet Elaena. The job you have is a great honor, you should be proud the High Court chose you for it!" Disapproved Fayra, a local tavern owner, who just happened to be passing by, like she does every morning.
"You can't say anything! Because you don't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn, just to with people freaking out cause they're dead!" I retorted. The colors that showed our mood changed. From the middle of her lower arms and legs all the way to her fingertips and toes, the color changed from light blue to vermillion. And the colors on my limbs changed from brown to purple. Signifying that her mood changed from calm to happy, her expression didn't help. And my colors signified that I was bitter now i'm being aggressive.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, Elaena, but I have to get up at dawn too. And be careful your face may not show it but your colors do. Plus it's the afternoon so hush up." Fayra smiled and walked off waving goodbye. My colors changed to vermillion as well, but like she said my didn't show it as it stayed bored looking. As warping sounds of the portal being open were to be heard, the colour snapped to brown as another person who died appeared. This one looked as if he was escaping punishment from death.
Luckily he wasn't to hard to look at. With his short dark brown hair and deep blue eyes, he had the appeal. I bet it was that way when he was alive. It was actually a sad sight when his sukissed skin faded to the generally ghastly tone for us ghost. But i've seen that all before. Back to his appearance, what I most appealing were the blue-ish black cat ears and the tail of same colloring that flicked in confusion, as he stumbled out of the gate. He was a Fauness like me, except i'm not a cat , more of wolf.
His memories floated in front of me as a wisp that swirled in play. It took all but a minute to reveiw the memories. He seemed to be quite the romantic, and the cat ears and tail didn't help. But he was only seventeen, older than me, but still young. He didn't do anything wrong in his life, so Hefara the god of death must have given him. This man is lucky. I waved away the wisp and looked at the newly found ghost with the look I give everyone, utter boredom and one that's uncaring.
I only him staring right back at. The look he gave me would swallow most whole, one that ate you whole. Just with that, he was figured. My tailed began to sway in irritation. The colors already began to show on him, light green. Distrustful. Well this is unbeleivable.

"Well aren't you the cocky one?" I questioned. Before I continued, i willed my emotions to calm, and the brown coloration of my aura changed to light blue.
"I not sure what you're talking about. How can someone not stare at a beauty such as you."
"Oh so you're going to be that king o-"
"Elaena!" Yelled my best friend Marinette. She jumped onto my back and rubbing my ears. "You need to hold out your arm, you you shouldn't leave Sariel alone." She pouted. By this time she had wrapped her legs around my slim stomach, and I was holding out my hand as a perch for my raven Sariel. Marinette's attention still on me the topic got to my hair and the fur of my ears. Which happened to be the natural combination of mint green and cherry red. "Did you brush it? You have to keep it glossy beca-" She cut herself when i assume she realized the newly dead was there. " I see you got another one?" she questioned.
"Today must be my lucky day. I got to meet two new beauties." He said swavly.
"Wow, he really is new." Marinette pointed out. She rested her chin on my head and let her orchid colored rabbit ears droop into my veiw. Marrienette was a fauness as well. I began to pet Sariel per her. I sighed and closed my eyes for a minute, then opened them back up.
"Well your comments have gotten insufferable already, mr.douche, before you make us swoon, you learn where you are." I out. " You 'sir' are in the Necroplis. And as are dead." I gave no sympathy in my words, in fact I didn't give any emotion.
"W-what?" He bagan to back up as panic spread across his face and the once green that spread over the areas that should auras that all ghost have, now turned orange. And mine went clear for no emotion.
"You, Kai Hashimoto, were killed in a murder, and the god of death took pity upon you." I said blankly as if programmed.
"T-that doesn't make s-sense!" He stuttered, backing up even more. I sighed an dthe color went back to blue.
"You're just like the rest, I actually had a shred of hope." I shrugged shifting Marienette's arms as well, but she didn't seem to care.
"Aww, that's an honor dude. Ena doesn't hope for anything. How disappointing." Sighed Marienette, her jaw flexing against my head. I used my power of creation to summon a simple kitchen knife. I flipped in my hand, once, twice. Then I looked at Kai, my foresight was already working, he's going to run left. He took his step in that direction, and I threw the knife at him, it only to go right through him. He stopped in realization, and patted himself over.
"See, you're ghost and are dead. You are only able to remember your death as of late. Now that we have that settled" I shook off Marinette and set Sariel on my shoulder, scratched her head, then dropped my arms to my side. "Well Marinette I need two things from you." I faced her.
"Yes ma'am!" She saluted playfully.
"One. What are you doing here? And two, I need you to take Mr.Hashimoto to get his paperwork." I commanded.
"Can do!" She saluted again, "And the reason I'm here is..."
