Arc 2: Chapter 4: Well Then...

Waking up in the morning I was feeling refreshed as I walked out to the village center. Rune was sitting in the center with almost all of the goblins walking passed, however as soon as they saw me they stopped and asked about training. They were devastated when I told them Rune will be training them today, Rou even tried to hurt me for leaving him in charge. I gave them the option to eith train with Rune or a dozen level 100 skeletons, I'm glad they chose wisely and sulked while listening to Rune as I left.

Passing Vari and Falz as they were playing a game similar to chess, I asked them if they’d like to train with me later. Nope apparently they would like to avoid fighting constant high level hordes of skeletons. Smiling to myself I left the village and made my way to the complex stopping myself when I notice a patch of blue grass. I decided to observe everything like I did the other day.

After 20 minutes I finished reading all of the descriptions and was glad that I could move after that little stint unlike last time, though the headache is still just as bad. So the blue grass is mana grass which started spreading after I made the first one on a whim aside from the patch of grass everything is pretty much the same aside from the blade of grass named Bob, apparently it likes me. I decided to take Bob with me to the complex after I made a small plant pot out of clay for him, even filled it with mana enriched soil for him. I also gained a few stats like last time but it wasn’t anywhere near as much as before, only 20 G.INT and 12 P.WIS.

Surprisingly my headache subsided as I got to the complex which was nice, it was even better when I realised that it's because the mental strain I can take from using mana is much higher now. The reason being is for the preeminent wisdom, the reason being was that I could use 10 times my WIS stat initially preeminent without side effects per minute, 1000 times for G.WIS and 1,000,000 times for P.WIS. Truly overpowered if you ask me. It's even better because Mental Fortitude reduces the strain further and helps recover quicker.

After putting Bob into the test room I've been using I head back upstairs and decide to use observe on one of the rooms farming mana shrooms. If you thought reading over 50,000 descriptions at the same time was impressive, why don’t you have a try at over 2 million at once. I spent over an hour reading the descriptions, unknowingly screaming again it was more painful than the last time I did it and I'm starting to think I'm a masochist since I keep hurting myself since I evolved. After finishing all of the descriptions I couldn’t move again and my mind was so strained at the moment I didn’t know how I was conscious. After half an hour I noticed that a lot of skeleton mages were gathered round me healing me with lots of basic heals. 10 minutes later I was finally able to stand up and noticed the window messages I received. One was simple saying the stats I earned, 212 G.INT and 191 P.WIS which was truly cool. The second was a notification that Mental Fortitude gained a level, that's it just one level. Lastly I gained a notification that healing arts gained the healing spell Small Heal, simply a stronger basic heal.

After Telling Ander that I'm fine I asked him to give me the collected mana shrooms and show me what he’s been working on. He gives me 82 billion mana shrooms in a trade and leads me to a room on the 3rd floor which has a few small creatures running around.

I asked Ander to show me how he created the Mini Mash-man and was surprised when he took a single mana shrooms and began to infuse it with some mana, just when it was about to split he stopped. Changing what he was doing he used Create Entity and used Mush-man to infuse the last little bit for it, suddenly the shroom sprouted a face, legs and arms becoming a Mini Mush-Man. Eidolons mind recorded the skill for me as well and I was surprised that it cost the same as the normal Mush-Man.

He showed me a few other creations of his but most of them were useless unless you wanted a mushroom styled house. The last thing he showed me though was something I couldn’t help but smile at. It was a small Brewery that used Mana Shrooms to make a small type of Beer. It was a glowing blue but it was certainly Beer. I learned how to create the beer from Ander which lead to me creating a few other types of drinks as well. I created a mana potion, some fizzy drink and beer which all tasted surprisingly like blueberries with the beer having the strongest taste. I looked at the stats on the beer and found it to be about 5-7%.

I realised that I had spent 3 hour making beer with Ander and left to go to the blade of grass Bob. When I sat down next to the plant pot that held him I thought of an idea and quickly created 5 mana crystals, and much bigger plant pot and a lot of soil. I started to enchant 4 of the crystals with a lot of earth element and the intent to fill the soil they touch with nutrients. The last crystal I put in a sieve like pot I created and enchanted the mana crystal to pour out water under certain conditions. I set the Enchantment to release water every 2 hours for 10 seconds, when in contact with second mana crystal or when I say ‘I wet my plants’. Believe me when I say it's hard to enchant intent with commands like this, I had to use a combination of Elemental Manipulation, Mana Infusion and Eidolons Craft just to get it up and running which wasn’t easy since I was still suffering backlash from reading all of the descriptions earlier. I hung the sieve with the crystal from the ceiling with the large pot under it. The Earth mana crystals are placed on the inside of the pot within the soil and affixed to the pot itself. Once finished I placed Bob right in the center of the plant pot which was roughly half my size.

As I was about to leave I told ander that I'll be back in a couple of hours and left for the clearing. Once there I used Raw Cast and summoned a level 100 Giant Skeleton. The description was the same as the regular one from yesterday except instead of all stats being greater than 500, every stat was greater than 600. The fight began with me using Raw Cast mana bolts at the monster and was shocked at the sheer destructive power that crippled the Giant skeleton before it even moved from its spot. I also noticed that it tried to move out of the way but couldn’t, thinking about it lead me to believe that INT also governs spell speed as well as effectiveness. Before I gave it another chance I used a Raw Cast Mana Blast which destroyed it instantly alongside a few trees for 5 meters behind it.

Leveling up I was feeling disappointed at how I could easily destroy it compare to the normal skeleton. I Gained another excess level as well and immediately upgraded my INT to P.INT. Very appropriate now that I can drink beer, thinking that I create a beer which comes in a nice wooden tankard and drink it greedily. After finishing the beer which I shall now call Munters Mush I decided to summon something together to fight and since I was curious I decided to summon a level 300 Wisp. Honestly this Raw Cast is extremely useful, at least for someone with mana like me.

The Wisp I summoned was massive it was as large as my head, to put it into perspective when I was a wisp I was the size of a person's eyeball. I used observe on the wisp and as more that surprised.

I don’t know if it was luck or something else but as long as it's not fast I'll be able to beat it. I start attacking the wisp and was startled when it cut a large chunk of my body of dealing 20% of my health with one Flash blade. I start using several barriers and start using everything I've got right away. This is going to be a long fight.

4 Hours passed and I was glad that it had a very slow health regen but its mana regen was rather fast. What made it worse was that it was healing very fast using several healing skills from the healing arts. I've been doing the same cause even though I fully heal within a minute it's been doing so much damage that I've been constantly using ludwin's pulse, revitalise and purity this whole fight all the while attacking it with everything I could muster I even started using several variants of Mana bolt and elemental manipulation while maintaining and replacing various barriers everytime I get hit. I've been using just shy of a billion mana a minute this whole time and it's been a constantly increasing strain the whole fight. At the end of the fight the flames for the wisp die and its core falls to the ground as I collapse from the mental strain.

When I get up an hour passed and I had several notifications. Several skills leveled up and a few even became master rank, I gained another level and excess level where I gained P.AGI since I felt lacking in speed. There were a few messages that stood out though.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Well that's interesting,, smiling to myself I looked at my new titles and checked to see if I still had Under Level Champion. Once I checked my titles I found that I still have Under Level Champion except its unequipped alongside the title Self Proclaimed Darkness and the title I got from getting over a billion health, Titans Heart. It's a shame all it does is increase health regen too 2% instead of adding a percentage as a result it's useless to me. Anyway since it felt like a joke I unequipped the title Deaths Ding Dong Ditch since it felt like a joke.

Moving one I was smiling to myself as I was walking to the complex when I saw a shadow cast its way over the clearing. Looking up I saw a dragon in the sky and on a whim I observed it which completely took my breath away.

I thought I was really strong until I saw that, it makes it even worse that it's only a baby and is hunted by gods know what. The world is a lot more dangerous than I thought it would be and I'm simply not strong enough even though I can defeat monster miles above me in level.

Returning to the complex I sit down next to the blade of grass Bob admiring how it's grown a few inches since I last saw it. As I sat down I thought I saw the blade of grass twitch, thinking so I observed it and noticed that it has gained a few stats in INT and WIS, apparently it's as smart as an infant now. I'm still resting from my fight since it was extremely tiring so while I can I create a couple of barrels of beer and start drinking away as I play with small amounts of mana no more than 1000. An hour past and I found that I could create several different types of barriers including elemental versions, I even created a complex aegis over the entirety of my body just cause I could. I drank several barrels of beer and only felt a little tipsy. When you think about it cause of Advance of the Drudge I have to try to get drunk now. Thinking that I get up and ask Ander to create more alcoholic drinks just before I left to go to the village.

Still drinking barrel after barrel of beer before I got to the village I simple let my mind wander as I started to come on the verge on drunk after roughly 30-40 liters. I never thought to ask myself why do I never have to go to the toilet and why didn't I never think to eat but drink like this, even then I only started drinking when Ander made beer. Geez I don’t know but if I think like this when I'm tipsy what will I be like when I'm drunk?

Walking into the village put the now empty barrel in my inventory for the third time today. Walking up to the still training goblins I noticed than nobody's levels have improved but they way they fight has improved greatly and almost all of them have a small but noticeable smile. Noticing Rou sparring with Rune I walk up to them. They stopped when they noticed me.

(Rune): “Welcome back, how was your day.”

  (Dark): “It was good~”

  (Roa): “Are you singing?”

  (Dark): “I am not singing~ At least I don’t think so~~”

(Roa): “What’s that smell? It’s coming from you.”

(Dark): “Hey, do you have any food~ I wana have a feast~”

I didn’t notice but everyone stopped sparring with each other and gathered round us as we talk, I also didn’t notice I created another barrel of beer and began hugging it.

  (Gob #1): “What’s going on?”

  (Dark): “I want some food~”

  (Gob #2): “Ok… What’s that you holdin?”

  (Dark): “Lets get food~ Let’s have a paaaaarty~~”

At this point I tuned out with what everyone was saying and just set up a part at the village. I even cooked and gained the ability to create lost of different food with Craft Inventory. I don’t know when but I created dozens upon dozens of beer barrels and a plethora of food. At the end of the night I had my eyes closed the whole time as I created nothing but beer before passing out long after everyone else either went to bed or passed out with me. Vari and Rune were the last to pass out before me, which was startling since I didn’t even know they could drink since they're just types of skeleton. Anyway I don’t know when but I passed out at least 3 hours after everyone else after the really long party and some how made it back to my bed.
