Mahoraga’s wheel spins once after feeling the full brunt of Mara’s cursed technique. Mara keeps herself in the air, thinking about a follow up plan. Mahoraga can see that she isn’t a height it can reach by jumping really hard, so it grabs some debris nearby, curls it up into a giant compressed ball, and hurls it at Mara. Mara quickly floats out of the way and watches the ball of debris fall to the ground and explode. Mahoraga makes another ball of debris and throws it as well. Mara then tries to convert a lot of thermal energy to the surrounding air. This increase in temperature causes the air pressure to go up as well and send the ball of debris back to Mahoraga. The ball debris is cut in half by the Sword of Extermination, however. Mara uses the same trick she just used to blast herself towards Mahoraga. She comes down with a kick, but Mahoraga grabs her leg before it could come into contact with it. Mara tries to create fire around her leg, but Mahoraga slams her body into the ground with a devastating thud. Mara feels her back fracture from the effect. Meanwhile, Waldo continues to watch from a distance. He watches Mara get slammed into the ground and kicked into a window. His eye flares slightly upon seeing this, but he does not move an inch from his position.
Mara lays inside of the broken house beaten and tattered. Some glass shards have stabbed at her skin and she feels that some of her bones have been broken. She has the urge to cry out in pain, but she cannot do that. Waldo wouldn’t allow her to do so. She has to get up and continue fighting against Mahoraga. Mara steadily crawls back up, despite being a whole world of pain. She uses her cursed technique to try to sooth her muscles and body, but it’s not helping enough. When she looks up, Mahoraga is there. It grabs Mara by the hair and picks her up. Mara clenches her teeth, trying to void out the pain. The adrenaline in her body is starting to have its effects. Mara grabs Mahoraga’s wrist with a lot of grip, but not enough to actually make a difference. A sudden thought comes to mind. All of this time, she would increase the thermal energy present in something. If she has the power to control thermal energy, what if she lowers the thermal energy? Then, Mahoraga’s arm begins to become extremely cold. Mahoraga looks at its arm with caution before lifting up its other arm to strike at Mara. However, Mahoraga’s arm becomes ice cold to the point it’s frozen. Mara directs all of her attention to the frozen arm. She reels in her arm for an all out punch. Then, once she throws that punch covered in cursed energy…
Black Flash!
Mara’s punch of cursed energy is transformed into a Black Flash. The strike becomes powerful enough to shatter Mahoraga’s frozen arm. She now falls to the ground and Mahoraga misses their attack. Mahoraga grunts due to their shattered arm and snarls at Mara. Mara can’t help but chuckle a little bit despite her situation. With the help of adrenaline, she picks herself up from the ground. She wobbles as she does so, but it’s better than falling back down. She isn’t able to dish out any attack, however, as Mahoraga kicks her out of the way like a professional striker on a football team. Mara coughs out blood and crashes through another house. She’s now sitting against a steel fence, her body bleeding from head to toe. Mara’s breath is heavy, pale, and unstable. Her head hangs down from how heavy she feels right now. Her vision is blurry and her other senses have dulled. A loud ringing sound plays in her ear drums, if they’re somehow still intact. She tries to move her arms and legs, but they don’t respond at all. As Mara slowly looks up, her body now feels cold. Mahoraga moves any wall of random rubble out of the way and makes their way towards Mara. Mara can feel the ground’s slight rumble as the hulking general gets closer. Mahoraga steps closer to Mara and looks down at her. Without wasting any time, Mahoraga lifts up their foot and moves it to stomp Mara.
“It seems that your four minutes have passed. Although your display with slightly uncouth, it wasn’t terrible for a human of your stature.”
Mahoraga’s foot stops right before it crushes Mara. A shockwave is forcing it to stop in its tracks. The shockwave then pushes past their leg and hits them square in the chest, knocking Mahoraga away. Mara still looks up, unable to move or manipulate her situation. A silhouette of Waldo gradually makes their way towards her. She can’t fully see them because of her blurry vision. They stop just in front of Mara and stare at her. The glowing blue eye sets itself apart from everything else. Mara closes her eyes and allows herself to sigh after so long.
“Did… did I… I win?”
Waldo crouches down and picks up Mara. Her body is limp and cold, nearly akin to a corpse. Waldo sets her on top of a nearby wall that has been flipped vertically. He steps back and summons his weapon, Hades. He points Hades right at Mara’s forehead and allows some of his cursed energy to enter her body. It’ll allow her to stay alive and gradually repair her body as time passes. Once he finishes this process, Waldo turns around and watches as Mahoraga rampages through the streets. Waldo smirks and walks forward with Hades in hand.
“I’ll settle this unfinished business. Time to put you in your place, Divine General.”
Mahoraga lets out a mix of a roar/angry scream as they run towards Waldo. Waldo feels the power of Hades flowing into the corners of his body and mind. He lets out a quick laugh and exerts some of his pressure outward. Mahoraga comes to a sudden halt after feeling Waldo’s sheer pressure. The aura around him has completely intensified. Mahoraga didn’t need to read his cursed energy to know that Waldo is now as tough as a mountain. However, Mahoraga does not have the same level of reasoning or understanding as a human being. Despite feeling such an insane power difference, Mahoraga continues to rush towards Waldo. It swings the Sword of Extermination at Waldo but misses completely as Waldo moves out of the way. Waldo appears behind Mahoraga and swings Hades, cutting Mahoraga’s body in two. They quickly regenerate and swing the sword once more. It has no effect, still not able to make a scratch on Waldo. Waldo bounces back, constantly dodging all of Mahoraga’s attacks. He swings Hades at Mahoraga and fires a shockwave. The shockwaves made from Waldo’s cursed technique are empowered by the presence of Hades. Although Mahoraga now takes less damage from his shockwaves, the new power up still causes significant damage and blows them away.

“Come on! Is this all that you have to offer? For being a Divine General and revered figure of Jujutsu Sorcery, you’re quite lackluster! Come on, keep trying. Give me a reason to use my full power against you!”
Mahoraga snarls at Waldo and continues to unleash an onslaught of attacks, attempting to grab him with their overgrown hands. Waldo allows Mahoraga to grab him and lift him up. Mahoraga, now having Waldo in their grasp, attempts to crush Waldo with their intense grip strength. Waldo lets this continue for a few more moments. He begins to laugh out loud at the futile strength of Mahoraga.
“Futile! Futile! Futile!”
Hades suddenly duplicates itself and appears in front of Mahoraga’s face. Waldo snaps his fingers and Hades begins to glow intensely.
“Now vaporize.”
Hades blows up with much explosive force. Not only is Mahoraga’s upper body gone, but the rest of it is blown away into the far corner of the city. Waldo gets Mahoraga’s hands off of his body and takes a few steps forward. Waldo glances back at the wall Mara is laying on. Her body is already showing signs of healing. The color of her skin is returning. Waldo can at least continue this fight without having to worry about her deterioration. A rumble can be felt coming from a distance. Waldo quickly turns around and plants Hades on the ground.
“After watching Mara fight against you, I realized that it would be a waste to kill you right here. You could still serve a purpose for a few more years. But that persistence of yours is really testing my patience. Why don’t you settle down like the bug you are?”
Waldo twirls Hades around in the air and gets into a stance. He waits for Mahoraga to start getting close. He knows that Mahoraga doesn’t have the capability to flee from battle. The word ‘retreat’ doesn’t exist in Mahoraga’s personal dictionary. As long as this fact remains true, Mahoraga will not stop attacking. Waldo has to find a way to assert his dominance and completely restrict Mahoraga from moving or going after him. After all, Waldo can’t spend his entire time staying here and fighting Mahoraga. He has plans for the future, after all.
“A big brute indeed. Just as annoying as several years ago. Let’s cut to the chase now. The final curtain is calling, and your play has been waiting for an ending.”
Waldo places his foot forward and sprints ahead. He leaves a wave of air in his wake as he speeds through the city. He eventually finds Mahoraga getting out of a large crater. Mahoraga finds Waldo coming at him and slams the ground with its large fists. The ground splits open and a crack in the earth heads towards Waldo. Waldo blasts a shockwave from the soles of his feet and gets across the gap without a problem. Mahoraga jumps forward and pulls its arm back. Waldo also prepares to throw a punch. The two entities throw their attack at the same time and now find themselves in a Clash. However, Waldo instantly increases the output of his power by having a compressed shockwave fire out of his knuckles. Mahoraga is knocked back by this shockwave and the wheel above their head now spins for the third time. One more spin means that Mahoraga would have completely adapted to Waldo’s cursed technique. Only blunt force would be able to take this beast down. Not that it would be much of a giant problem anyway.
“Now sit down!”
Waldo places a foot on Mahoraga’s forearm and uses it as a platform to jump. With his other leg, Waldo stomps forcefully on Mahoraga’s head and causes it to slam onto the ground. The ground caves in from the impact. Waldo keeps his foot on Mahoraga’s head and watches as the beast flails around to get him off. Duplicates of Hades appear out of thin air and stab Mahoraga in several areas, pinning them to the ground. Waldo clutches the Hades in his hand and then stabs it into Mahoraga’s chest. The rest of the Hades duplicates resonate with the original.
“And now… the time has come for you step down as the Divine General.”
Every Hades that is currently stabbing into Hades body injects mass amounts of Destructive Cursed Energy into Mahoraga’s system. The cursed energy builds up in the middle. Waldo steps off of Mahoraga and walks away. There was no need to further involve himself anymore. Soon, the built up cursed energy explodes and scatters throughout Mahoraga’s body and completely incapacitates them. It causes great pain as it exhausts itself, but the cursed energy constantly multiples as it depletes, causing a never ending process of pure suffering. Waldo walks back to Mara and recalls Hades back into his core.
“Well, I suppose I’ll let the little princess have a minute of beauty rest. Consider it your one reward for surviving against your ordeals.”
