Chapter 32 - The Echo of the Ruler

  The day had begun quietly in the mansion. Things seemed to have returned to normal after recent events. Elizabeth and Charlotte were closer to Juan than ever, each finding excuses to approach him in casual moments. The romantic tension was still present, but this time in a warmer and more natural tone.

  While the group ate together, the vibe of an improvised family was felt, laughter and jokes filled the room. Lightning mocked Valterion for his refusal to take off his helmet even to eat, while Scarlett commented with a laugh that one day she would prepare a potion to see him without armor.

  "Maybe... they don't need me so much after all," he murmured to himself.

  Juan froze.
