Chapter 8: “The Knights Weath”

  Chapter 8: “The Knight's Weath”

  The sky was red.

  The mountains were shaking.

And the roar of two monsters broke the balance of reality.

Waru: "Come on, damn it, Valterion! Is that all you have?"

Valterion, covered in ash and with his armor cracked, gasped. His eyes, once serene, now trembled between guilt and rage.

Waru (walking slowly): "Do you still remember the day that monster attacked them? Do you remember your injured friends... you, motionless... while everything was burning?"

Valterion clenched his fists. His sword trembled, not out of fear, but out of something worse: doubt.

Waru (smiling cruelly): "You died that day, gentleman. What remains... is just a shadow with armor."

A cut. Another. A dance of steel and darkness. But Valterion was losing his beat.

Waru: "What's stopping you? Your honor? Your empty votes?"

A flash. An explosion. Trees flying, rivers evaporating.

  ?

  Mansion of the Ruler.

  The maids stop.

  Trisha: "Did you feel that...?"

Mimi (trembling): "It's Val... that power... but there's something else..."

  ?

At the top of the world, in the mountains.

Juan was hanging from a finger in the void, training.

  Sheeva, calmly, observe the sky.

Sheeva: "It seems that you are not the only one who wants to become strong..."

  Juan smiles weakly.

Juan: "I knew you wouldn't fail me... brother."

  ?

We go back to the battlefield.

Valterion falls. His sword is buried in the ground.

Waru (raising his): "I'll finish this. Not out of hatred. For pity.”

  Move forward.

Valterion (closing his eyes): "Forgive me, Juan... failing you was my biggest sin..."

A memory hits him like a spear.

Juan (in his memory, with a hand on his shoulder):

"You're the only one I would trust if things get bad.

You are my brother, Valterion. Never forget it.”

  And then...

  The scream.

  An explosive wave.

Valterion's armor bursts into purple flames.

His eyes shine like the cosmos.

His voice sounds like the will of the dead.

  Valterion (screaming):

"THE MAN I SWORE TO PROTECT WILL NOT FIGHT AGAIN!

BECAUSE I WILL EXTERMINATE ALL HIS ENEMIES!"

  Waru (opening his eyes): "You..."

A storm of darkness envelops everything.

  ?

  Biouniverse.

  A distant planet cracks.

A minor god falls to his knees.

A galaxy goes out for a second.

  ?

Waru (almost with respect): "So... SILL ME!"

  Attack.

An explosion. Flying earth. Bleeding sky.

  But...

  Silence.

  Waru (panting): "You... you took..."

And suddenly, Valterion is no longer in front of him.

  It's behind.

With the dark sword wrapped in purple fire.

Valterion (with deep voice): "Thank you, teacher."

  ZAS!

  Clean cut.

  Frozen time.

Waru's head falls to the ground... and he smiles.

  The body collapses.

  The whole battlefield is destruction.

Valterion, standing, normal again, observes the horizon.

An entire planet, split in half.

  Whisper...

  Valterion:

  "This time...

  Nothing will happen to them.

  I promise."

  Clench your fist.

  The camera moves away.

  ?

  End of chapter.

Do you want me to prepare it?
