Chapter 4: The Academy Part 1

Most admins only make contracts with 1, maybe 2, humans at a time. That is, if they do so with any humans. That being said, Phoenix has already decided to make a contract with a human named Immerial, who is an archmage. Also, Immerial is actually a demigod of knowledge, and somehow managed to find something out regarding new admins, who aren’t actually admins yet. Before Phoenix did, who is a new administrator himself. So, Immerial told Phoenix, “There are academies for new admins. Two academies for each admin specialization, which is just what an admin is most experienced with, what type of abilities they are most advanced and specialized in, such as arcane magic, divine magic, swordsmanship, other things like that. I’m guessing that these academies are in the first realm, since most things like that are in the first realm.” Phoenix, while shocked that Immerial learned this before him, believed Immerial, and replied, “Well, I’m going to check that out, so you might not hear from me for a while.”

[Notification: You have been invited to attend the advanced admin academy of arcane magic. Do you accept the invitation?]

  “I accept.” Phoenix mentally answered.

Phoenix then was immediately warped to said admin academy, and instantly sensed that something evil was happening, and he was even warned by the Titan to be careful and to be on the look out for any curse, poison, or dark magic traces on other students. “Interesting. I wonder what it is that makes me and the Titan suspicious of this academy. I also wonder where all of the other students are. Am I the only one? That is a possibility.” Phoenix thought to himself, but he suddenly sensed two people approaching him, one of which appears to be another student due to the system identification notification that Phoenix received as he glanced at the student.

[Student: Aero (3rd year attending after graduation)]

Phoenix then looked at the other person, and received both the Identification notification and a warning.

[Principal: Alera] [Warning: It is possible that this person is extremely dangerous. Please be highly careful around them!]

“Just what has this woman done to be considered a potential danger even by the system?” Phoenix wondered to himself. He then sensed a powerful poison magic curse on Aero, and Phoenix then began analyzing said curse, and finished in a few seconds. He realized that the one who cursed Aero was Alera and Phoenix guessed that this wasn’t her full power. Phoenix then dispelled it with some difficulty. Unfortunately for Phoenix, Alera noticed that he did so, and planned to punish him severely after Phoenix became a full student at the advanced admin academy of arcane magic. Phoenix then thought to himself, “I can tell that she isn’t happy with my decision to break the curse. I can also tell that this Aero isn’t actually a mere student.” Phoenix then used telepathy to ask Aero, “Why would you continue attending this academy? I know that you aren’t just a student.” Also using telepathy, Aero answered, “I am investigating Alera upon the high council’s will. DO NOT tell anyone else. The only reason I told you is because you have the Titan’s approval. Also, do be careful around Alera”
