The all clear sounded throughout the ship, and people rushed too and fro through the ship. At least, that's probably what was happening. I, still being in the brig, saw none of it.
I knew we had been in battle. And, judging from the ship still having gravity, lightning, and the insufficient amount of screams, we had won. When next I see Anibeli I would congratulate her, and perhaps celebrate.
I did another random sweep of my surroundings. Cell, strapped and sedated prisoner, myself. Alls well. So, with nothing to do, I watched the navigator. I was so going to mess with Anibeli when I was free of this burden.
"Nezekiri, are you well?" A voice called over coms. Anibeli's to be precise. It had been 3 days since the battle. And finally something was happening. Maybe.

"I am well. Has anything interesting happened since last contact?" I ask politely, hoping thay-
"Fantastic news, my friend! You'll soon be free of sitting in the brig. Port authorities finally authorized aproach. Bloody cowards, they saw us blow a Frigate to the warp and they have the gall to accuse us? Pah." She said, sounding irritated.
"But, that's besides the point. This is that cog's destination, and they agreed to deal with the navigator. Head to the Suttle bay, bring the navigator and the guard squad. See the shuttle off, then your free." She said.
"Yes, Lady Anibeli." I say with a smile in my voice. FINALLY. While I had the patience of the dead, it wasn't interesting and was boring as hell.
I called in the squad, and gave out orders. We were on our was shortly. 2 squad members pulling the navigator, while the rest just kept an eye out. We ended in the shuttle bay.
2 shuttles were getting prepared, and I sent them to the as yet empty one. As much fun as it would be to send the priests and the rogue navigator together, the priests of Mars would pitch a fit.
I quickly backed away, as I didn't want to get caught I the wash of the engines, or more importantly, deal with the magos, whome I saw was now entering the shuttle.
I awaited their take off, and when they left, I went to find Anibeli. Her first void battle, I think this was... Hmm. Time to get to it, I suppose.
