"Mmmm, mmmMM mm M M..." I hummed. I was in a better place now. Not literally, mind. I was still in the lower decks. But taking time for myself to just be helped immensely.
As I walked, I was pinged. It was Anibeli, she was calling. What time was... Oh, it's been two days. Uhhh. Whoopsie?
"Nezekiri where are you."
"I am aboard ship."
"Yes. That's wonderful. Where are you? Nobody has seen you in days, Nezekiri. I was looking for you for a literal day!"
"Why did you not call me then? I answered instantly when you called, because I care." I said. Ignore the fact I told no one I was taking a break.
"Whatever. Fine. Just come up to the bridge, please. We got some things to talk about." She said.
"As you wish." I said. I looked around, and nothing alive was present. I opened a portal, and slowly stepped back into it, dramatically. I admit, I might be practicing...

Now, lest see. Hmmm. Here, no. No no. Ah, Here. I flitted through the dimension, and returned just as quick. I emerged in a closed room, and had to walk out.
Admittedly I wanted to appear behind my friend and say something dramatic. Maybe 'I have come' or something. But, that would be a touch too public for my tastes. Once an assassin always an assassin and all that.
I walked onto bridge, nodding at the bridge guards, and walked in. Anibeli was waiting and waisted no time. She drug me to her office, and we began to converse.
"Nezekiri, a few things. 1, I'm glad you're ok. 2, please TELL me before you go off on a jaunt." She says, glaring. "3, you remember that ship you did? Well, I showed it to grandfather, and he gave it to the local ship yard. Long story short, there was actually some high ranking git from one of the local planets, an aid for the governor. He was here to buy two new ships and grandfather got him to take a look at your design. He actually ordered one, along with a Cobra! Nezekiri do you know what this means?"
"No."
"Grandfather had a royalty on it!"
"Ok..."
"Nez, do you know how expensive ships are?"
"No Ani, I'm not a captain, nor are we part of the same species."
"Ah..." She blushed. "Ahem. Well, let's just say, that while the royalty is low, ships are expensive. VERY expensive. We're making a pretty penny. We are also going to take the man back to his world to get crews for their new ships. We've been paid to escort them on both accounts. We're going to be making quite a bit on this." She said. She hesitated a bit before continuing.
"Also, we're going to need to head to the sub-sector capital right after we get back. There is... Ok. So, right now, you are an illegal xeno." She said.
"That is... interesting..." I said slowly.
"So, Grandfather and I have arranged for your paperwork, but we need to head to the capital for examination. Then, we can get your paperwork for you to be classified as legal in the imperium. We will need that if you want to be seen." She says.
"...If that is your wish. I suppose it would be good to have... paperwork." She nods, and we continue on. I just feel that something will inevitably go wrong. I feel it in my ocular.
