"Now that you're a Beyonder, you should try to get yourself accustomed to your abilities," Edward said."Another piece of advice from me is to try and act in accordance with your potion's name."
Is he giving me the acting method?
It seemed he wasn't inexperienced after all. Maybe I really did make the right decision by drinking the potion.
"I'll be leaving for now. If you need to contact me urgently, you know where the mailbox is."
With that, he left—just like that.
So… I was a Beyonder now.
I went to the kitchen and picked up a knife. The moment it was in my hand, it felt as though I knew exactly how to use it. Instinctively. Naturally.

Had I changed after drinking the potion?
Although Sequence 9 didn't alter a person as much as Sequence 8, it still brought changes. I could feel them clearly. I felt slightly more power-hungry, no longer satisfied with being ordinary.
I wondered if I would hesitate less about killing someone now that I had consumed this potion. I did think it would be easier—though not by much.
Still, what a day.
Not only had I transmigrated and become a Beyonder, but I had also stepped onto one of the most dangerous pathways in existence.
Edward seemed extremely knowledgeable. He might really be a Sequence 6.
But why did he choose me as his disciple? The former Viktor was just an ordinary person—nothing special.
Was wanting to change his life really enough?
I couldn't figure it out for now. Maybe Edward truly just wanted a student—someone to train and eventually fight alongside him.
Although I wasn't sure whether I wanted to continue down this pathway, following the acting method wasn't a bad idea. I should start today.
But first… I should make myself some breakfast.
