Vegis slowly floated down to the floor as the daybreak filled the area with light. Vegis’s eyes were open, but he wasn’t conscious. He stood still in the center of the crater he formed as the armor morphed and flexed, changing into clothes that wrapped around Vegis’s changed body. The Bo staff split into five segments and wrapped around his neck, ankles, and wrist, fusing with the skin to become tattoo-like marks that wrapped around them. The shield was dropped and a group of guards surrounded Vegis, all of them nervous but ready to strike. Slowly, one of the guards walked out of the encirclement and to Vegis with cuffs to get him, but as soon as they touched him, the guard was sent flying into the crowd. Vegis hadn’t moved at all, but something around him repelled the guard. The Elder thought on this for a second before sending Mitra to get him instead of another guard. She managed to touch him but anytime the cuffs touched him, they would immediately be frozen and shattered. Because of this, the Elder just had her pick Vegis up and take him to their facility where they can be locked up until Vegis regains consciousness.

  It took 3 months for Vegis to wake up. During this time, the Elder informed the Council in the Maouin system about Mitra and Boreal but kept silent about Vegis. People from Vegis's family began to contact the world council to see where he was but were all blocked, which led to several private eyes being sent and eventually one of his siblings coming over to try and find him. The sibling that came over to the world was his older sister who went by Jetz online but was actually named Ezzy. She communicated with the private eyes as they looked all around the world to find Vegis and hit a lead when they went into the city Vegis used to live in. There, Ezzy met Marzy who recognized Ezzy from one of the photos Vegis had shown her in the past. There, Marzy talked about the last time they had seen Vegis, which was a couple of years ago when he picked up a new job from the government. Ezzy sent this back to the rest of the Watt family and so they pulled some favors to ask where Vegis was.To keep them off their backs, they informed the family that Vegis was doing some important work that couldn’t be interrupted and they would have to wait until he was done.

He slowly moved his limbs which creaked due to disuse that was annoying but what bothered him the most was the new strong connection he had with both the new markings and the strange set of clothes that wrapped him. Vegis tried to take a small step forwards and the new explosive strength of his legs launched him so hard into the wall, it left a noticeable dent in it that also had a nearly perfect imprint of him in it. When he crashed into the wall, he noticed that it felt like a thick sheet of drywall rather than a thick piece of metal. When he peeled himself off the wall, he did a finger gun before plunging it into the wall and scooping a decent size chunk of the wall. This scared Vegis because not even the most enhanced humans would have been capable of doing this task with ease. It was like the wall was made of wet clays and he was simply scooping some of it out.
