  Akime stands shocked and in disbelief, more like confused.

  Meanwhile, Reo still processes his thoughts about Narcissus's death.

  Warren, getting pressed between their squabble, finally speaks up with a serious tone: "And how did the two of you manage to defeat the three guards?”

  Hearing this, Reo goes completely static-brained—his body becoming lifeless, thoughts running wild, eyes tearing but not a single drop falling through his stitched eyes.

  Warren's voice cuts through: "Let me heal you. We will continue our talk at my place.”

  As he swings his hand horizontally, the chains tighten and start burning Akime and Reo's skin. In a flash, they are absorbed inside their bodies—they are free and healed.
