  "Formation?" Asked Meng Yun, looking at her father for answers.

  "No, this is something different. It must be the legendary battlefield killer move of some kind." Meng Hua said as he looked straight ahead at his opponent, his face dark and gloomy.

  "Battlefield killer move!!?" Meng Yun was sheer shocked. She only has read about them in books and have never seen them in person before.

  "What's a battlefield killer move?" Yao Ming asked, perplexed. She has never seen her cold sister act like this before, it somehow made her a little scared.

  "... I will tell you later when we get back." Said Meng Yun after having regained her composure.

  "Get back? Who will get back? All of you will die by my hands today!" Xiao Xi Xing shouted while pushing his right hand forward.

  Suddenly, all blood balls in the inn turned into sharp spinning needles and began heading straight to the father-daughter trios.

  With a 'hmp!' sound and a stomp of his feet, Meng Hua created a bright golden light barrier to protect them. The golden light barrier was incredibly strong, even with over a few thousands blood needles attacking already, it still shows no sign of collapsing.

  "You two stay here, I'll deal with him and proceed with the mission." Meng Hua said as he stepped forward out of the barrier with a golden light barrier of his own, his aura rank six early stage.

  "But father... will he be okay by himself?" Yao Ming asked with teary eyes.

  "This is father we're talking about, he'll be fine... He has to be." Meng Yun tried to comfort her younger sister, but she herself was not sure either.

  'If this is really a battlefield killer move, then father will have a tough time or might even get killed. Even if we want to help him, we will only be burdens for father if we can't protect ourselves well. We will only distract him if we go out, especially when Yao Ming is heavily injured like this.' Meng Yun evaluated while tending to Yao Ming's injury, worries apparent in her eyes.

  Outside of the barrier stood two figures. One was surrounded with glorious golden light while the other was surrounded by dark crimson light.

  Xiao Xi Xing upon seeing Meng Hua walk out of the barrier, was feeling anxious.

  He was planning to play dirty and aim for Meng Hua's daughters. He would cripple Meng Yun, kill her if necessary and hold the weaker Yao Ming hostage then retreat as far as possible.

  Meng Hua came out of his own means that he was confident in taking on Xiao Xi Xing alone. This made things both easier and more difficult for Xiao Xi Xing as he wouldn't have to worry about sneak attacks or collaborating tactics.

  However, this in turn robbed him of the plan to take those two girls hostage and left him with no choice but to fight this rank six expert one on one.

  Xiao Xi Xing summoned more blood needles to attack, but they had next to no effect on the golden light enveloping Meng Hua's body.

  Xiao Xi Xing upon seeing Meng Hua disappeared before his eyes were alarmed, he was about to retreat when he felt like a bull had ram straight at his stomach, causing him to blink voluntarily.

  When he opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on the ground with his back leaning on a huge tree, seemingly crashing into it, creating a human sized den. If not for the blood barrier protecting him, he would be dead by now.

  Xiao Xi Xing coughed up some blood before creating a dark crimson light that enveloped his every nook and cranny, while a new transparent-blood barrier began to form in a semicircular shape three layers around him.

  Xiao Xi Xing thought to himself: 'I underestimated this old fellow, I was too careless. That strike earlier almost killed me. If it wasn't for this special blood barrier then I probably would've died! I thought this old man was only strength - no speed, clearly this isn't the case.'

  After he finished healing himself and tightening his defenses, Xiao Xi Xing stood up and looked ahead of him.

  Before him stood Meng Hua, still as a statue, waiting for him. What shocked Xiao Xi Xing was there were no injuries on Meng Hua's body when his blood shields were supposed to counter attack when there was an impact.

  Although Meng Hua's body stood still like a statue, his eyes tell different story as he spoke coldly:

  "Xiao Xi Xing, give up now, this is your last chance. You should be able to tell the difference between us from that earlier strike, you're no match for me. Sooner or later you'll run out of life essence and lose, whereas I only need to activate a few Meng in my attacks and defenses. It's not because my cultivation is higher than yours, but because my strength mainly came from my body while your strength came from your Meng, your consumption rate of Life essence is naturally higher, we both know of this. If you surrender now, I will be merciful and not take your life.
