His hand flicks the valve open, he zooms towards the soldiers and a trail of bullets follow after him as he closes the distance. Verank laughs and holds down the trigger. A wild spray flies into the front line as Slim chops away. A man aims at him, but Slim closes the distance within a second. The axe cleaves into his shoulder. Slim fails to rip it out of the man as they shoot at him, so he speeds through the streams of bullets, gliding a rusted knife against necks in the chaos. Heavy footsteps stamp down, Verank leaps over a barricade and swings the cleaver through a man.

  The soldiers could never be prepared for psychopaths with powers.
