167. Crocodile Ambition and Kaito Talks with Sakuya.

After the meeting was over, Kaito pnned to practice controlling his energy and making some new props, but shortly after he left the room, Crocodile immediately came to see him and invited Kaito to a private room.

Entering Crocodile's private room, Kaito found the room unique, with various decorations that looked valuable such as gold and silver statues, shelves filled with ninjutsu scrolls and he could also see several jars filled with sand in every corner of the room. Although this room should be safe, it seemed that Crocodile had made his security because Kaito admitted, that this room contained many important objects.

"So, what do you want to talk about, Crocodile." Kaito asked, after sitting on the chair facing Crocodile, "I don't have much time, because 1 week is not a long time."

"I won't take up much of your time, Kaito." Crocodile answered while smoking his cigarette and put down his hook, "I want to talk to you about my ambition in this base world."

  "Ambition?"

"Yes." Crocodile nodded and then answered with a serious tone, "Owner, my ambition is... I want to build my own country in this base world."

"A country..." Previously, Kaito had expected this to happen, but he didn't expect Crocodile to be the first to say it.

When Kaito thought about Crocodile's way of thinking and what he did in SAO, he was not surprised and had expected that Crocodile would create his organization in the base world, just like he did in SAO and Naruto. However, Kaito did not expect that his ambition was not only an organization-- but to create his own country.

"Can you expin why you want to build your own country?"

"First off, the base world is quite rge, Kaito..." Crocodile answered while raising his eyebrow, "Wouldn't it be a shame if we all lived in the same pce?"

"Your reason makes sense." Kaito nodded, "But that's not enough to convince me."

Kaito admitted that with the world size getting rger than multiple Earths, and the more people they would get in the future, it's impossible to centralize everything in one area. However, for the current stage, Kaito felt that they didn't need to separate their area-- because the resources in this world wouldn't run anywhere else.

Not to mention Kaito can create resources directly by himself, so it's should be never a big issue.

  ...

"I know that, so I have another good reason."

  "Say it."

"My second reason is if we want to develop this world, we need people from various worlds." Crocodile shook his head and expined, "And I'm sure not all people from different worlds can live in harmony with each other, close to each other."

"For example, some members in the chat group don't like the 'ninja' profession in Naruto who only know how to kill and don't know how to be productive despite their ninjutsu."

"The main reason why the ninja profession is respected in the Naruto world is because they are the strongest people in the world, but not in this world and you certainly won't run this world like Naruto, right?"

"Thats... makes sense. I accept your reason." Kaito nodded and asked, However, can you solve that issue within your 'country' ter on?"

"Sure," Crocodile promised. "At least what I do could minimize the cn/faction war within the country when a single country majority is made up of a single race or ethnicity."

Hearing this reason, Kaito admitted that what Crocodile said was true. As someone who used to live on earth, Kaito understood that racism was a serious thing, and even humans with different skins could be hostile to each other, let alone different races.

The most they could do was probably tolerate each other under their rule, but that didn't apply if they were pced in the same area. It's the same reason why Uchiha was despised back then in Konoha.

Although Kaito could guarantee that there would be no war in the world because of his absolute authority in this world, Kaito couldn't kick out every popution that started a little bit of a commotion of infighting and racism.

That would be a dictatorship and would be tiring for him to do, and Kaito certainly doesn't want to deal with that kinds of issues in the future.

  ...

"You convinced me enough with your second reason." Kaito frowned and said, "Do you still have another reason?"

Crocodile nodded and replied, "My third reason is simple, I want to be someone in charge of power and authority. You who already know my ambition should already know this."

"Yeah..." Kaito agreed and then stated, "I don't pn to control the chat group members' lives. You have your own goals and ambitions and I have no right to forbid them."

  ...

Trying to control other members' lives is the furthest thing he wants to do, because that's certainly only resulting in unnecessary conflict. Despite being a leader, Kaito genuinely sees other members as part of his family, after all.

  ...

"Even parent wouldn't prevent their son from reaching their own goal." Kaito said jokingly and added, "And you guys are not my son and daughter."

"Hahahaha! That's true." Crocodile agreed with Kaito's words, grinned while seriously asking, "So, you won't forbid me, to do this, right?"

"Of course not." Kaito shook his head, "Even if the other members also want to make their own countries in this world, I don't forbid them either."

If anything, Kaito is looking forward to that happening, with some members' unique world traits, Kaito expected there would be a city/country of music, food, ninja, etc, appearing in the base world ter.

  ...

"However, you must know my bottom line, Crocodile." Kaito warned seriously, "No war with another area, and don't let me hear news of you committing or allowing crimes in your area."

"If you do that... Even if you are a chat group member... I will kick you out of the chat group and then kill you with my hand."

  ...!!!

Hearing Kaito's threat, Crocodile nodded seriously (although he felt nervous), and answered, "Of course. Most of the people in the chat group are good people."

"Of course, I don't want to ruin my retionship with everyone. That's just a stupid thing to do and I don't think anyone dares to do that." Crocodile scoffed and added, "To be honest, Saitama-sensei in the chat group is enough to be a deterrent for the chat group members to not do something evil"

"Indeed... You are right about that."

Kaito admitted that Crocodile's words were true. As long as Saitama-sensei was in the chat group, no member would dare to commit open crimes in the chat group, because the consequences were too serious.

After that, Crocodile and Kaito then discussed the location pn for the 'country' that would be created along with its details. Kaito himself learned a lot from this conversation because he also had a simir goal to Crocodile and secretly had thought the location of his SAO tower in the future.

  >>>>>

After talking with Crocodile, we were successful, Kaito returned to his initial pn, which is to train his new ability and prepare for the task in one week.

After trying to make props with his 'Creation', combined with Third Magic, he is capable of making a living creature with a firm soul and intelligence-- which kind of covers his 'creation' abilities shortcomings. He is also capable of attacking souls and creating props that can attack one too.

However, Kaito doesn't like trying to create intelligent life for now, because he feels that he is not ready to do so. Kaito doesn't want to become a being like a god who is not responsible for his creation.

Now with his energy reserve being limitless in resource, only limited by his own body, Kaito had no trouble making or using any props without getting so tired, and his production became two or three times faster-- making it viable to create props in combat.

However, even though his energy was limitless, his physical and mental state were still ordinary, so Kaito's condition was simir to Manaka's, where her limitation in using any type of magic still limited by the capability of her mortal body and soul.

This was like tap water drawing water from the ocean, even though the source was unlimited, he could only draw the water as much as the tap allowed him to retrieve.

Thus, Kaito's next agenda was clearly to improve his physical and mental abilities, allowing him to become more godlike.

Kaito then began to obsess over making props that could help him train and fight-- and put aside his trump cards because he thought he already had enough of them.

After fighting with Gilgamesh, Kaito has changed his mind and thinks that props were not his real power, but just like borrowing a power.

Therefore, Kaito also did not forget to improve his sword skills and close combat without being too dependent on teleportation.

The main reason why Gilgamesh could handle Kaito's fighting style easily in Moon World was that Gilgamesh had a treasure that could detect space changes, so all his teleport attacks could be read. In many worlds out there, there might be a simir item or ability that easily cracks his teleportation, therefore Kaito knows he needs to change his combat method.

His fighting ability, while versatile, is also all over the pce and Kaito knows he needs to do something about it. His experience of dying in the moon world is horrifying to say the least, and he certainly doesn't want it to happen ever again.

  ...

Two hours ter, while Kaito was resting after being tired from training with his new abilities, Sakuya came into his room and brought a lunch for him.

"Master..." Sakuya gracefully bows at him, and offers a wooden box with lunch inside, "This is the lunch today made by Erina-sama."

  "Ah! It's already lunch time."

Seeing a package of western-style lunch that Sakuya brought, Kaito accepted it happily, "Thank you, Sakuya." Kaito then confirmed the content and found nothing wrong in it, "...Anything else?"

"Yes." Sakuya nodded and then said, "Aika-san suggests you make props that can create temporary residences for the members instantly. She also suggests you create props that could isote the space, and be undetectable by technology in case we need to create a base in pce with a lot of eyes."

"In addition, Manaka-san also suggests you make simple props that anyone can use to escape instantly in a dire situation, not only the members... which I also agree on because everyone's safety is important."

Hearing the idea from Manaka and Aika, Kaito's mouth curled up with a satisfied look, and both of their ideas are something everyone needs in the incoming tasks. It seems the competition between the two of them made them work harder. Although Kaito felt a little guilty about using them, this was for the sake of the chat group and the success of the Est rescue task that he was going to do.

  ...

"I will do something with their suggestions, I promise." Kaito promised and then looked at his maid with guilt, "Speaking of which... Sakuya, have you forgiven me for what I did?"

Remembering the rift between him and Sakuya before the meeting, Kaito couldn't help but still feel bad about it.

As the person who summoned her to this world and helped him a lot with daily needs and business selflessly, Sakuya's position in the chat group was honestly closer to him... even compared to Aika's.

  ...

However, hearing Kaito's question, Sakuya shook her head and then bowed her head again with an apologetic look, "I'm also here to apologize for my behavior."

  "Eh...?"

"It was inappropriate for me, as a maid, to fight against her master when I don't know the truth." Sakuya wryly smiled, "I think Master is lucky to still be alive after completing that task."

"Ah... Indeed, but the loss of Est is still my fault for using something that I don't understand. This taught me a lesson to be more careful in the future."

"However, master, back then you had no choice but to do that... because you have been cornered in that situation."

"And that's more reason why I should practice more and fix my shortcomings."

"Yes, you have learned your lesson and there's no reason for me to be mad at you anymore." Sakuya smiled at Kaito, "And with everyone's help, we will make sure it won't happen again to you."

  "...Thank you."

Hearing Sakuya forgive him, Kaito felt something lift from his shoulder and he immediately slumped on his chair. Looking at it, Sakuya couldn't help but ask, "Anyway, Master, is there anything I can help you with or bring? You look so tired."

"It's only been 2 hours and a half and my mind is completely drained. I need to practice with my new ability and my new source of energy."

Kaito compined with a sigh, "Although energy is no longer a problem, it turns out that my physical and mental state is cking to use them to their full potential."

"Sakuya, can you let me sleep on your p?"

  "A p pillow?"

Kaito blushed a little bit and muttered, "Yes..."

"What an unusual request but sure." Sakuya gave him a lovely smile and promised her, "Anything for you, my beloved master."

After that, Sakuya let Kaito sleep soundly on her p until the afternoon, because he was exhausted for real. Maniputing and creating props is always exhausting in all aspects, especially his brain who need to think in detail to make sure the props are created properly and safe to use.

Needless to say, other chat group members who also depended on Sakuya's services looked for her everywhere within that period-- making Kaito realize that Sakuya is not only important for him, but to everyone due to her omnipotent maid ability.

At the end of the day, all chat group members agreed to donate points to Sakuya so she could buy the clone ability in the chat group store-- to prevent something like this happening again.
