Hello readers,

  I just wanted to drop a quick note in here to kinda give an update to what is going on with the book, and since there isn't really a "blog" type thing here, I guess this is the best way.

  First things first, I thought I had a plan. I mean, I did, and I still do, but my plan was not as well thought out as I imagined. At the end of the latest chapter, I knew where Bel was going and what would happen, but when I sat down to write it, I realized that it made no sense in the world I was building, which is based on "real" physics even within the scope of magic. The last thing I want to do is start hand waving deus ex machina to get myself out of the corners I write myself into.

  It took a while to figure out how to make the next section work, and I have now, but in doing so I made the next section of the book much more complex than I'd planned. So, I decided to take a step back and really plan this shit out. In doing so, I've started at the beginning, looking at what I've already written and tightening up those chapters, as well as what happens in future chapters. Its a very large project, and one that I'm having to build infrastructure for as I go.

  All of that said, I wanted to give you and update, or as much of one as I can. I'm still working a very busy restaurant job, and hosting a 3 year long (so far) level 1-20 home-brew Pathfinder 2e game every other week that I have to keep up with, so I write when I can. Unfortunately, that isn't as much as I want. I will have more, I have not given up and walked away. I WANT TO WRITE THIS, because it's SO much fun and I love writing. I'm hoping within another month or so I'll either have future chapters to publish, or I'll have revamped older chapters to kinda restart the whole thing. I'm not 100% sure yet, but one of them should be a reality. Once I have all of this set up and going, I'll be able to stick to a more reasonable release schedule and keep the story going.
