When I open my eyes, there are two atus messages right in front of me.
When I sat up and cleared both of them, I received a huge wave of other notifications.

The boost skills work by adding 10 to your stat for every level, but if you get another copy of the skill orb you make stat boost 2 which adds 100 per level, then with 2 more skill orbs, it gives 1000 per level. That way it both scales up, but isn’t pletely broken with just SP

I received hundreds of them.Clearing all of them I tried to think about what was happening.
I didn't know where I was or how I got here.
My head was still groggy after whatever happened.
I remembered the party, aing Nyx. I remember the explosion, and leaving the building.
Then it es to me.
I was attacked, right after the sed explosion. It was some woman.
But looking around at where I was now, I was still in the hunters association, once again in the medical wing. I was alone in the rht now, and could see outside. It was clearly day time.
Looking around the room, I find a digital clock that tells me that it was already 10 am, and January 2nd. I am missing all of the 1st.
Shortly after I woke up and started looking around the room, several people came rushing into the room. It was all of my family, plus uncle Gideon and for some reason Nyx.
“Zenith! You're awake” They yell at me.
“Yeah, It’s apparently been a while” I say, scared about why I was asleep for a day.
They g what I was looking at, seeing the clock I was looking at. “Yeah, you slept through yesterday” Mom told me.
“Well, you tell me what happened? I remember being attacked but that's it…”
“Nope, you don’t o know about that” Aria said to me, while the rest of my family showed their agreement to what she said.
“Why not?” I ask them.
“Because it was the random work of a group of stupid terrorists. They took you as bait for the twins and they rescued you. You shouldn’t think about them anymore” Dad said.
“That makes no…” I start.
“100% plete sense. We agree” Anthem said.
“They aren’t going to tell you”Nyx said.
“ you tell me?”
“I don’t think that's the best idea, your family is only just starting to like me” she said with a massive smile.
“Well, ok. Moving on from that, did anything else happen while I was out?” I ask everyone.
“Not much. You were the only person who got hurt during the attack. Turns out they took the whole only going after Anthem ahing really seriously. The association building took a lot of damage, but is still fully funal” Aria told me.
“Wait…” I said, thinking past the day of hunting I missed. “Crap!” I said getting out of bed and pig up the clothes my parents had brought for me.
Totally not thinking of who was in the room with me I started to ge.
“Zenith, what are you doing!” Aria yelled, jumping in front of Zenith who in turn tried to move to tig me.
“I have the highschool test thing today. I ’t waste another day. I already lost yesterday” I told her.
“You’re still going to do that today? Why not push it back a day?” Mom asked.
“It’s only a test. I probably do it in my sleep. Tomorrow is for hunting” I say back.
“Well, it seems he’s ok” dad said.
“Well, we offer the test on request so you don’t have to rush” Uncle Gideon said.
“Well great, I’ll do that right away” I tell him.
“OK, so while he’s doing that, Aria we do my orientation?” Nyx brought up. They had po do it today but with the attack, I wasn’t sure if they would tinue.
“We also have to get back to work honey, let's leave the kids to their pns” Dad said as well.
“Yeah, yeah. I know we actually have jobs, and we made sure our son wasn’t dead, so now we have to go do them” mom said in a sarcastie while they both left.
“Um, sure Nyx, we do that. Just let me make sure Zenith is good iest first” Aria said.
And with that, Aria Anthem Nyx and I made our way to where I sign up and take the test that will let me skip the rest of highschool.

After Zenith went into the test room prepared for the skip highschool test, Nyx and Aria went into the practice dungeon.

“Yeah, this gives me some good boosts. But having someoch over me might be helpful” Nyx said.

The beginning of their trip retty simple. They avoided slimes for a while and even made it to the end of the first floor, but Aria said they weren’t moving on until Nyx killed at least one.
After 10 more minutes of them walking around, they eventually found a single slime.
Nyx had a short sword with her, and moving up behind the slime she stabbed it in the body. It died almost instantly.

She thought ‘yes’ to the s and a bd purple energy swirled from where the slime had died. Suddenly a new slime appeared there, but instead of being blue, it was the same color as the energy.

‘Oh, what is that?” Aria said, looking at the slime.
“That is my skill. It lets me create little buddies like this guy” Nyx said, excited about the skill. She was looking over the stats of the slime. It had a level, but she didn’t know how it would work. If everything she killed got reset to level one, she would o work hard for the summons to be useful.
“Well, we should get moving again. We see what that little guy do”
A little ter they learn that that little do very little.
It died to the first other slime they found.
“That didn’t seem that strong.” Nyx said. But a sed ter it came back again. “Huh?”
But evehe slime couldn’t do anything against the slime. It died and came back again.
Nyx then walked over and killed the slime.

It again was level 1. But the other one seemed to have gained EXP from killing the slime it had fought.
“So, the summons don’t seem that strht now.” Aria said.
“Yeah, but it gained EXP so it might get stronger” Nyx said.
“Really, you made a sed one and they gain EXP. That is actually really powerful.”
“Well, we’ll see”.
They moved on from the sed slime. They found 3 more slimes in total on the first floor. Instead of letting the slimes die to them, Nyx just went up to kill them.

The sed floor went about the same as the first floor. Aria speime going up to and killing the slimes.

While Nyx was doing this, she figured out the limit to her summons. Each time they died, it took some MP t them back.

Since she didn’t have that much MP, she o reserve some. Since if they all died, it would drain her MP super quickly.
She wao try to at least level up once befoing into the boss room, as well as maximizing the level of her summons.
She looked at her status and noticed she needed 65 more experieo level up, and knowing that meant only 7 more slimes, she started her hunt.

“Whoo, I hit level 2!” Nyx yelled after the message popped up.
“grats. It didn’t even take that long, we’ve only been in here for about an hour” Aria said. “I think you should be ready to take on the boss now, unless you want to prepare some more?”
“No, the level up was what I was going for” Nyx said, then they made their way towards the boss room.

“Well, the grade you got for the test should be ready in about an hour, since you are the only person here right now” the person running the testing room told me.
“Thanks” I said back to them.
“You wait in any part of the association, just remember that some of the training floors are currently closed for repairs” they tell me.
But I had a pn. I wao test out my defense boosting strategy. So where I went was the same pce Aria had goo.
Anthem said he was going to be practig something in one of the training rooms and to tell him when we were done for the day, so he was already gone.
And I made it to the dungeon. I still had the yout memorized so it didn’t take me very long to make it to a very secluded part of the first floor. The strength of the slimes didn’t matter since every hit would only give me one experience.
I opened up my status to see how long it would take me, but something else caught my eye.

I had no clue what had happened with these two. But then it hit me. The two messages I received in the m and all of the skill level ups must have meant this. I khat HP boost got 1 exp for each damage point I took, and I was told I had taken a massive amount of damage, so it must have power leveled the skill.
I also remember something about the bracelet that made it so I didn’t receive EXP making it so I didn’t die, so that must have been part of it.
It was very iing seeing such a high stat at such a low level, but I o get to work.
I opened up my iory and pulled out the horn I got a bunch of from the goblins den, and blew on it.
And within a few seds, a huge amount of slimes came charging at me. All of them were the normal blue color for this floor, so I knew none of them could hurt me.
So I just id down on the ground ahem jump on me.
I opened up my status s and just watched the ter under Defense boost just steadily go up.

But around the 4 hour mark, I got a new message from the status.
