I think I made a mistake yesterday.

  I’m not sure, I think it was yesterday, but I ’t remember clearly when I did it.

  I broke my phone.

  Not in the case where I cracked the s.

  More crushed it in my hand for some reason.

  I don’t remember why, but I broke it.

  This was really dumb. I had been using my phone while staying in my room, but now I had no more phone.

  I was thinking about asking for a new one, but my hopes weren’t high for that.

  They had been trying to get me to leave my room for a while and this gives them a good ce to do that.

  They would try to get me to go with them to buy a new phone.

  Based wholly on the fact that I barely leave my rht now, I don’t think I do that right now.

  I kind of lost track of how long I have been staying in here, but it’s been a while now.

  It happened on that day. The day I learned about Mana.

  Sihen, I’ve been staying locked in my room.

  And today, my only iion with other people was about to happen.

  I move over and lean my bay door before she es.

  And a few mier, I hear a knoy door.

  “Hi, Zenith” Aria says from the other side.

  She es every day, at least once. Sometimes Mom or Dad or Anthem e too, but she is the only one who es every day.

  I don’t respht away, thinking about what I want to say.

  “How are you today?” she asked me.

  I think for a few minutes before I answer, but I eventually speak up. “I’m fine. I think”

  “That's good” Aria said. “Fine is good”

  Aria was keeping track of how I’ve been doing. I think she has a way to gauge my responses. Any time I actually spoke was good, or fine.

  “Is there anything you want?” Aria asks me.

  “Um” I started. I wasn’t sure what I should say. She mainly meant food, sihe only way I could eat is if they brought it to me.

  “What is it?” Aria asks.

  “Um, actually, I broke my phone” I start. “And I was… I was w if you… If you could take me to buy a new oomorrow?”

  Aria didn’t respond for a det bit of time.

  “Aria?”

  “Of course we ” she said. I could hear her move quickly bay door.

  “What are you doing?” I couldn’t help but ask.

  “Sorry. I was just so excited about what you asked. So tomorrow?”

  “Yeah” I said, determio do this.

  Aria came back down stairs after talking to Zenith.

  The rest of the family was solemnly in the living room, almost pletely silent.

  Andrea and Danile had e back almost immediately when they got the call from Anthem about Zenith. They had known for some time that if Zenith ever learhe truth about Mana, that it could lead to this very situation.

  They went up to talk to him, but they learned pretty quickly that Aria got the best rea from him.

  But today, unlike any other, Aria came back down smiling.

  “He wants to leave” she said. “He broke his phone, and wants to buy a new one”.

  “Really?” Andrea asked.

  “IF he needs a new phone, we could buy a new one for him” Anthem said.

  “I think it's more than just wanting a new phone” Daniel said.

  “He wants to go, he wants to get better” Aria said. “He said he wants to go buy one, so I am taking him tomorrow”. She was resolute with this, leaving no room for discussion.

  “What about the rest of us?” Anthem asked.

  “I don’t know?” Aria responded. “Personally, I want it to just be the two of us”.

  “Maybe that would be for the best” Daniel said.

  The others didn’t ent on this. Aria was getting what she wanted, and Anthem k robably better for it to just be her. If they limit the amount of stimution for him, he could get better soohey thought.

  “Anything else?” Andrea asked Aria.

  “He said he was fine, and he was more attehan a few days ago” she said.

  “So, you do think he is gettier?” Danile asked.

  “Yeah, I do”

  The rest of there day went in the same silence as earlier.

  I had been looking at this for a long time, but hadn’t done anything with it. I hadn’t worked on it, or anything.

  I probably should have been. I’m not doing anything else. BUt I kind of couldn’t focus on it.

  1 hour recharge, and I gain 2 points. 5 total hours of that, and its up to 3 an hour. Then 3 more hours and I get 4 more, each hour.

  It goes up expoially each time.

  ANd I do everything without leaving.

  In my dark room, I create a small ball of light magic.

  My eyes hurt looking at the little ball of light, si was the first one I had seen in a while.

  It was super bright, but also, ihen a sed, it went out.
