Chapter 87: At Least She Felt Better...
Waking up, instead of seeing the ceiling of an inn, Celia saw that she was still in the forest. “I guess I didn’t pass out for that long?” She thought with a relieved tone.
Faith: “Awake?” She asked with a smile.
Celia: “Yeah, and I feel better, too.” She replied with a happy smile.
Faith: “Good, good. Now, shall we return to the Game?” She proposed, happily.
Celia’s existence was greatly dimmed from Maralia’s and Faith’s flawed plan. With her Human side and ties gone long ago, the System was all that marked Celia as a being of this Universe.
As such, Celia actually slept for an entire month. During that time, Faith killed (because she didn’t care about morals, or getting damaged from murder), any Players that approached them.
Celia: “What’s that smell?” She asked with a head tilt.
Faith: “Some silly beasts tried to hunt us, so I killed them. Nothing worth a second glance, though.” She answered.
Celia couldn’t detect the lies in Faith’s words, so she just continued to bask in the warmth of the woman’s lap. Faith was sitting at the base of a large, wide tree, giving her wife a lap pillow, and behind it… was a bloody, gore filled battleground, where the woman had killed countless Players.

Not wanting to let Celia notice this, Faith teleported away with her. The next second, Celia saw a sprawling, huge city in her vision.
Faith: “How grand…” She mused with a yawn.
Celia: “I sense… quite a few Players here, Faith.” She voiced with a serious tone.
Faith: “Yep, that’s why I’ve brought us here.” She replied with a laugh.
Apart from those that went after them, Faith didn’t go ahead and clean up the other Players, saving her wife the effort. Why? Because… she couldn’t move Celia, her tittering on phasing out of existence every minute.
The other Players, feeling the weakness of such a powerful being and fellow Player, sought to kill Celia before she could do the same to them. This is partially why Faith outright killed them, rather than just let Maralia force them to forfeit.
Celia: “…”
Faith: “…”
Faith had teleported them on top of one of this city’s grand walls, leaving no (normal) person aware of their presence. That was… until they flew down to the city’s ground floor.
Instantly, the civilians fled in droves, while Faith and Celia were then encircled by strong adventurers. Of course, these mortals weren’t Faith’s, or even the greatly weakened Celia’s match.
Celia: “Can we help you?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Adventurers: “…”
Reports of Faith’s actions spread across this land quickly, as this city wasn’t far away from the battlefield. Originally, they assumed that Faith would be the main problem. But now… seeing Celia, the guild leader felt a major sense of crisis.
Gemi: “…”
Thankfully, neither Faith nor Celia attacked outright from their actions, but Gemi, the guild leader of adventurer’s guild for this city, was now trying to mentally figure out how to survive this mistake of hers…
