Chapter 28: Expl.
*Celia’s POV*
I was still slightly upset about that whole duhing, so I just wandered around the forest without any real goal in mind. Like, that Goblihing, doesn’t that make me a bad person?…
Ruina: “You’re being oversensitive.” She said with a stern tone.
Celia: “How exactly? If you look at my memories, then you know for a fact that svery is extremely wrong, from my perspective.” I reply.
Ruina: “Maybe if you did that with humans, or some other humanoid beings, then it would be bad. But si was with Primal Goblins, it is fine.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “Still feels messed up to me…” I say with a sigh.
Ruina: “They literally get food supplied to them by the dungeon, and all they have to do is mine Mana Crystals for you.” She said.
Celia: “That just sounds like svery, but with a few extra bes.” I say with a shrug.
Ruina: “God… you make my head hurt so much…” She said with an aone.
Celia: “Apparently, that is something that I am good at.” I say with a proud tone.
Ruina: “…”
As I tio walk, I almost passed out… Holding on to a tree, so that I don’t fall, I regained my senses, and tried to figure out what happeo me. Ah! I haven’t slept in over a day! I must be extremely sleep deprived…
Ruina: “What’s wrong, are you okay?” She asked with a ed tone.
Celia: “Ah, I am fine. I am just a sleepy little girl at the moment.” I reply with a giggle.
Ruina: “Sleepy? Good luck finding a safe pce to sleep in this forest.” She said with a smug tone.
Celia: “…”
Were you even actually worried for me? Or were you just waiting for a ce to get back at me for messing with you? Ah, I am too tired to even care at this point…
Normally, in situations like this, you would make a campfire, and use it to scare off any animals. Problem is, this world doesn’t just have normal animals. Frankly, why I haven’t e across any monsters yet, is kinda weird, but I won’t pin about it.
But I won’t just take the d sleep in the middle of a dangerous forest. Hm… I could teleport bay dungeon, and then sleep in it… No. Then I would have to worry about those Primal Goblins trying to revolt. I mean, they probably don’t even have the intelligeo e up with such a pn, but again, I am not taking a risk like that.
Celia: “Ruina, I need sleep… Please e up with a pn.” I say with a pleading tone.
Ruina: “Why not take a rest at that house over there?” She replied.
Celia: “House? What house?” I ask with a fused tone.
Looking around, I saw that behind a big tree, was an odd looking house. Walking up to it, the house seemingly looked to be abandoned. A, I am not stupid enough to believe such a vehing.
The house basically screams that a witch, or something simir to a witch, lives in it. Despite looking old, it was still standing, and in this forest, unless you’re amazingly lucky, even an amazingly sturdy house would end up gettiroyed by a monster. Not like I have any other options, though…
Deg to bite the bullet, I walked to the entrance of the house. After knog on the door, there wasn’t a response, no matter how many times that I knocked. Weird…
Pulling on the door, it opened with ease. Why would they leave their house pletely unsecured with an unlocked front door? I am starting to get even more suspicious that this might be a trap…
Looking around ihe house, yeah, this was definitely a witch’s house. The various potion bottles and ingredients scattered around everywhere say as muot that I even have the energy to care right now.
Using my extreme ck of sleep as motivation to do something so brazen as sleeping in some random person’s house, I walked up to the sed floor. There were a few rooms it seems. Trusting my ent luck, the first door I chose to open, had a bed in it.
I was so beyond tired that I didn’t even care about the sequences of this a. As such, I jumped into the bed, and quickly fell into dreamnd. To be fair to me, this was the first time I have slept in a bed in a very, very long time.
*One Well Rested Night Later.*
Waking up with a satisfied yawn, I looked around the room. Rubbing the sleep sand out of my eyes, I came face to face with a woman who was ily staring at me… The woman had long green hair, as well as green eyes. No. She didn’t look like a stereotypical witch at all.
Witch: “.esuoh ym ni ,noit toN ?tserof sunad a hi gniod eb uoy thgim tahw ,lrig elttiL” She said with a seemingly curious tone.
Celia: “Sorry, I ot uand you…” I say with a nervous tone.
Witch: “Demon nguage? But you don’t look, or even smell like a demon...” She said with a thinking pose.
Demon nguage? Ah, I guess that was what Yona taught me. I really should have asked her to help me learn the on human nguage as well… Oh well, at least this woman uand demon nguage to some degree.
Celia: “Ah, sorry for barging into your house. I was really tired, and didn’t want to risk sleeping outside in the forest.” I expin.
Witch: “That’s fine. I am not heartless enough to let a little girl sleep outside in such a dangerous pce.” She said with a shrug.
The woman then motioned me to get out of the bed, and I did just that. Then she walked around me, with a curious look on her face. Huh… she isn’t a pervert, right?…
Witch: “Your soul is… well, let’s just say that it isn’t the soul of a child.” She said with one of her hands on her hip, aher hand holding up her .
Celia: “Well, you see… there is a very good reason for that…” I say with a nervous tone.
Witch: “Oh, I am sure that there is a good reason. A reason that I io figure out. Hold still, this won’t hurt at all.” She said with a calm tone, before snapping her fingers.
After she snapped her fingers, magical s appeared out of nowhere, and ed around my body. pletely restraining me, with no way to escape at all. Oh no! This woman really ervert! Good job, me! Sleep in a perverts house! What a grand and wonderful pn that this turned out to be!…
