Chapter 5: The Apple
Naku Eden
~
A delicious, juicy and glowing red apple of knowledge.
The planet bathed in the radiant light of its blue star sun and emerald sky, was home to an advanced elvish civilization. These beings, known for their peaceful nature and inventive prowess, worshiped their sun as a deity. Their society thrived on creativity, innovation, and a deep respect for life.
For centuries, the inhabitants of Naku Eden focused on crafting protective inventions, such as indestructible body armor and shields. These creations were designed to safeguard their world and its inhabitants, not to wage war. Majestic metallic infrastructures dotted the lush landscape, serving as testaments to Naku’s ingenuity.
As news of their remarkable creations spread throughout the cosmos, other civilizations took notice. The people of Naku Eden, with their open and sharing nature, were more than willing to collaborate with other worlds. However, this naivety would eventually prove to be their downfall.
The most advanced and powerful civilization in the universe, Ragnar?k One, took a particular interest in the Naku’s inventions and rare Gemmantium ore. Ragnor, the God of Gods, demanded that Naku create weapons of war to aid in their quest for dominance. The peaceful Naku, though initially reluctant, were eventually coerced into complying.
Unbeknownst to Naku, their collaboration with Ragnar?k would have far-reaching consequences. News of their powerful creations reached a nearby realm, named Phantomlor, a realm of darkness and malevolence. This realm, inhabited by beings who defied death itself, had an ultimate quest of their own—to acquire Naku’s powerful inventions and Gemmantium ore, to harness their might.

Planet Zero (Naku—Present Day)
~
A wilted, rotten and dull grey apple of ignorance.
Naku Eden, once a paradise of breathtaking beauty, now lies in the ruins of Planert Zero. The lush landscape that was once teeming with life has withered away, leaving behind a barren wasteland. Their blue star sun that shone brightly in the green sky has been replaced by a perpetual red haze, casting a hellish glow over the desolate terrain.
The metallic infrastructures that stood as testaments to Naku’s ingenuity and creativity now pierce the red sky like skeletal fingers, a haunting reminder of what has been lost. The air is thick with the acrid smell of smoke and ash, a constant reminder of the devastation that ravaged the planet. It was once peaceful; Naku, the people who lived in harmony with their environment, have been consumed by the very darkness they once sought to keep at bay. Their inventions, once designed to protect and defend, have been twisted and exploited, leaving only ruin and destruction in their wake.
As a result, the planet’s ecosystem has been irreparably damaged. The once-pristine crystal waters are now polluted, and the soil is barren and unfertile. The few remaining inhabitants eke out a meager existence, struggling to survive in a world that seems determined to destroy them.
Its planet now is a world of stark contrasts, where the beauty of the past is a distant memory, and the harsh reality of the present is a constant reminder of what has been lost. Naku’s ravaged landscape serves as a testament to the destructive power of unchecked ambition and greed.
Despite the devastation, whispers of a prophecy persist. It speaks of a time when the planet will be reborn, a savior that will rise, and Naku’s legacy will be redeemed. However, until that day comes, Planet Zero will remain a haunting reminder of unchecked power and the importance of preserving the delicate balance of nature.
