“Imma do magic, Imma do magic now~” Waku waku, I′m excited~

  After exiting the cave I was prepared to be freezing again

  But, unexpectedly, it isn′t as bad as I thought

  I think [Cold Resistance] is doing it′s work? There could be some other influences as well

  Not that it matters for now, the warmer the better

  Anyways, I decided that I will start my little experiment of figuring out how magic works by trying to make water

  I think I don′t really need to explain why

  Firstly, I need to ascertain the meaning of vague words like “element” and “control”.

  For now I can only assume that my magic skills really are “magic” skills

  I go with what I′m used to from the fiction stuff I entertain myself with

  But there′s the risk my assumption is wrong

  So I need to clarify what I can actually do with these skills asap.

  Now the second reason why I specifically chose the “water element” is because I have a chance of gaining an infinite water supply from it.

  For now I′m lucky there are those water plants everywhere, but if something were to happen to them and I don′t find a way to procure water in time…

  I know that I probably could search for a river instead or try to analyzing the “bucket plants” to ascertain when and where I can rely on them for water

  But if I could just create water on the spot it would be much more convenient

  I wouldn′t have to worry about the transport or leaving to areas without a water source

  While conducting my monologue I arrive at a nice looking place

  Although I′m still deep inside the dense forest there′s a tree-empty spot

  In the middle stands a boulder

  Although small, it gives off a majestic feeling as if it were standing there with dignity.

  Weird, right?

  I approach it while the numerous colorful leaves rustle underneath my feet and climb onto the boulder

  As I reach the top I somehow find a comfortable position to sit in and feel the minimal amount of sunlight, which manages to shine

  through the thick treetops, sprawl on my face.

  For a moment I just sit there, relishing nature

  Up until now I was living in a big city, devoid of such places

  I always loved family trips on which we went hiking, but never before have I felt like I do now

  Maybe because I′m not on vacation now?

  Once you take some time to realize your situation it really hits you hard.

  There′s only one issue

  The delay of testing out my “water element” hits me harder at the moment

  “Now, how exactly do I use this water magic?”

  I close my eyes, open my hand in front of me and concentrate on using the skill

  I abruptly open my eyes and look at my hand

  “I did it!” I excitedly exclaim a little too loudly

  Although it′s only a very small amount, there is liquid gathered on top of my hand

  For my first time I had to focus a lot, but I′m sure I will get the hang out of it in no time if I just keep practicing

  Now it all comes down to if the water I create is drinkable or not

  I gulp

  “Appraisal, analyze the water in my hand” I ask of my skill and take a deep breath

  What will it be?

  “Analysis complete. The water consists of a mixture of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium as well as Trace metals such as Zinc, Copper, Iron, Chromium, Nickel and Lead”

  Wait, what? What does that mean?

  “That means this is sweat”
