"What should I call this energy..."

  After thinking of a bunch of Chunibyo worthy names such as chaos energy...etc he finally gave up this 'career choice' and decided to be as simplistic as possible

  "This energy acts as fuel for my abilities, it can even be called the source of my power, lets's just call it Source Energy then.."

  After making the choice Lorien smiled happily and nodded over and over again complimenting himself for his 'ingenuity'

  After a couple of moments of 'self-motivation', he turned his attention to the [Dream] part of his ability as he has already understood the other part ([Reality])

  'Sadly I can't test it right now as there are no targets to test it on, so I'll leave it as is for now, but thankfully I have the theoretical knowledge sent to me, but a test is really needed to discover the limitations'

  All that Lorien knows right now about the [Dream] part of the ability is sent to him directly after the awakening similar to the [Reality] part

  And basically the [Dream] part allows him to manipulate dreams, transform into a dream...etc

  And most importantly it grants him the ability to turn the dreams of sentient beings into Absorbable Dream energy as to grow himself

  So right now after finally giving up on testing [Dream] because of the inexistence of test subjects

  Lorien's attention got attracted to the combination of the Two Abilities or more precisely his true Ability [Dreams & Reality]

  Raising his hands he imagined a stone appearing in it as he mobilized the power of [Dreams/Reality]

  And indeed in an instant, a stone appeared

  Looking at it, in Lorien's perspective this stone is also made of 'clay' meaning he can alter it but there are no signs of disappearing

  After observing it for some time Lorien finally concluded that it's permanent, meaning whatever he creates using the power of [Dreams/Reality] won't disappear no matter how much time passes as it became truly a part of existence

  But sadly there is nothing perfect in this world, as Lorien could feel that using this power takes way more energy than simply Reality warping it to existence, to be more precise it's about 10 times the energy

  After completing the first experiment, he started with the second one without further of do

  Walking to another poor tree, at first, he tried wishing it out of existence from a distance like earlier, but it still didn't work

  Putting his hand on it, this time the tree slowly turned transparent and then disappeared as if it was never there

  But this is actually just from the naked eyes point of view

  From Lorien's perspective, this tree that was originally in a state of existence and a part of reality turned into a state of dreams, and then it disappeared leaving behind just some dreamy energy

  Looking at the bunch of energy in front of him Lorien could clearly feel that he could absorb it

  This is actually not just the case for this Dream energy, it's also true for everything around him (Reality)

  Since the moment he awakened his talent Lorien could feel that he could absorb both Reality and Dreams to strengthen himself and grow

  Just like the time when he awakened his talent, he turned everything around into the Energy of Existence and absorbed them as fuel for his awakening

  It's similar to those Cultivators who absorb spiritual energy to grow stronger, but Lorien's way is more overbearing and usable in any world as long as Reality and Dreams Exist, this is Lorien's way of getting stronger

  Looking at the Dream energy in from of him he was lost in thought for a moment

  Then just as he was about to absorb it something weird happened

  It just disappeared out of thin air

  No, to be more precise it was as if the world...absorbed it

  Looking at this Lorien couldn't help but question his eyes

  "Did I just get robbed by the world??"

  If the world had emotions and a personality it would have probably killed him already with a lightning strike

  Afterall the tree was originally a part of the world no matter what 'state' it is, be it existence or dreams, and because of the nature of Lorien's absorption, if he were to be allowed to absorb things as much as he wants, the world would be damaged as it won't 'flow back' to the world

  When it's gone it's truly gone

  Of course, Lorien had no idea about this and so, Looking at the place the dream energy just disappeared he had already passed the 'shocked' stage and entered the 'oh you wanna be like that?!' stage

  "Humph, let's see who absorbs faster!!"

  This time he wasn't about to turn Reality into Dreams and then absorb them, he was going to directly 'Devour' Reality, the same way he did when he was awakening his talent, he has to get stronger anyway, and this is his way

  But just as he was about to start, the 'treasure' hidden inside his body sent him a message on its own

  This message was recorded by the woman that sent him here very early on as she had already guessed the way he gets stronger from the nature of his ability the moment she saw his ability (Refer to chapter 1)

  After receiving it, Lorien's eyes went wide in shock

  "FUCK!"

  The message was very simple, Absorbing Reality in any way (Directly or turning into a dream and then absorbing it) Damages the world and will cause the world to Hate him, meaning he'll become VERY VERY unlucky in light cases and directly attacked and kicked out in severe ones

  Going out from a walk? HEY, WHY IS AN ASTEROID HURLING AT ME?!!

  Going for a swim in the ocean? THEN FUCKK IS A TSUNAMI DOING HERE??!!

  You basically get the idea, as for why that didn't happen earlier after he absorbed so much for awakening? It's because the quantity hasn't reached the world's bottom line yet and the treasure is blocking some of it, but that won't last long if he were to absorb more

  But thankfully not all doors are closed, he can absorb the Dreams of sentient beings as much as he wants as the world itself cant

  Those dreams aren't actually energy, they or more similar to 'faith' in nature as they are actually made thoughts, information but much more mysterious as a dream can even be called a world with unique rules in an out of itself

  Only those with the power of Dreams can turn them into absorbable Dream Energy

  Moreover, he got a very important piece of information, that is if he were to turn those dreams into dream energy and allow the world to absorb them, he will get a blessing, basically a protagonist Halo

  And that's not just it, If he were to allow the world to improve and advance in a good direction he will get Ownership of the world and become its master

  Of course, this good direction is for the world itself not for the people living in it, as what is good for the world may be very bad for the being living in it

  For example, if a world has too many strong beings and each one absorbs a lot of natural energy causing the world to lack energy, in this case, the death of all of those beings is a good thing for the world no matter who or what they do

  The woman that sent him here became the master of the [Eternal World] by giving the world 'potential', Lorien didn't understand what she meant as there wasn't much explanation about this part

  So, after digesting this part of the information he got from this message, Lorien could already imagine his future path as he now has set goals and no longer has to wonder as to what to do

  After all, he was sent from a modern, peaceful life into an exciting journey, no matter how adaptive he is it's normal to feel a bit 'Empty' without goals

  And now he has truly set them, which are Travelling from world to world enjoying himself to the fullest and becoming stronger while he's at it and also guiding the world and becoming its owner which may be useful in the future

  As for the other part of the information that contained some explanation about Life levels...etc he decided to check it out later when needed after all it's not that important for now
